Nell Carter was such an extraordinary talent beyond measures. She can act, sing and dance...Triple threat.
She was an amazing stage and Broadway actress...very serious actress.
    She can do anything.
We lost a true Gem in Hollywood.
I was an advent watcher of "Gimmie Me A Break" sitcom, as child with my parents.
Before my mom passed away on October 2nd 2019, just days and weeks before her death,
Me and my mom were watching a marathon of " Gimmie A Break" because my mom loved that sitcom, we laughed and reminisced and I spend quality time with my mom those wonderful few days that I hold dearly.
I hold those memories close to me now, they are special last moments in time of my mom.
When I watch Nell Carter and see her genius, it makes me so sad knowing she was taken from us too soon, the things she would be doing right now are endless with her talent.
When I watch her classic sitcom today it reminds me of my mother, because she would watch all those amazing 1970's & 1980's sitcoms and I can hear her Laughter in my head.
It brings me comfort and great childhood memories.
She was and will always be a real Star and a true icon and a legendary lady that helped break barriers on television and Broadway.
She had so much passion for her craft and gave her all to her fans.
RIP to the incomparable Nell Carter
    (1948-2003)📽🎬🎬🌟🌟

Born in 1970 myself. You and I were both born in the best year because we grew up during the whole decades of the '70s and '80s as children and teenagers. The '70s and '80s had the best television TV shows, movies and music in my opinion. We are lucky for being born in 1970. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. 😁

    RIP DEAR,,, AMEN!!!
IT'S SUCH A SHAME THAT WHILE SHE APPEARS AND ALWAYS APPEARED TO BE SO INTELLIGENT AND PUT TOGETHER IN PUBLIC, AND WAS CLEARLY TOGETHER ENOUGH TO MAKE IT AND BECOME EXTREMELY SUCCESSFUL,. CONVERSELY SHE DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO SUSTAIN THE SUCCESS AND MANAGE SAID! AND NELL MADE SO MANY MISTAKES IN HER PERSONAL LIFE AND WITH HER MONEY AND FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT.
SHE WAS STILL A PHENOMENAL TALENT AND WE'RE BLESSED TO HAVE HAD HER,,, AMEN!!!

@@measharflowers5305 Sorry it took me so long. But just google Nell Carter and Ann Kaiser LGBT. Nell left her everything. She was her lover and business manager. I don't know if you are familiar with daytime soap Ryan's Hope But a character played by Ilene Kristen, (Delia) is now reported to be her new BFF. And she, too, committed her wealth to Ann Kaiser. Ann must have something going there. LOL.
