- Charlotte Curtis created the PDF Stitcher application that takes letter or A4 size PDF patterns and digitally "tapes" them together to make the full size patterns, add margins, and more! We talk about how and why she created the app, what it was like writing a program (her job) for sewing (her hobby), and more!

Oh man thank you very much for this video. I always love to see women in Technology. I am also in the computer field and have only had 2 other woman colleagues. I know there are more out there. I will definitely take a look at the program this weekend. Thank you for your videos. I'm learning about this new world of projectors for sewing and your videos are so helpful.
Thank you both for this interview. You both did an awesome job interviewing and responding. What a gift to all of us sewists!
Thank you for your kind words! It was so much fun to talk to Charlotte!
Wow, I haven’t been very active in the projectors for sewing group (or sewing much in general 😓) so it was great to watch this video about the PDF stitcher.
Isn't it amazing?! I'm sorry you haven't had time to sew. I feel like it goes in seasons-sometimes I have tons of time to sew and others I feel like I don't touch my machines for weeks!
@@DaileySewsStuff yeah, I thought I would have more time to sew with the way I’ve been scheduling myself at work with more days off in a row, but as it turns out I sew less because I was sewing more when I was up all night while my husband and baby slept 😅 Plus, now I’m awake during the day on my days off and enjoy spending time with my daughter, husband, family and friends so much that I’ve forgotten about sewing a little bit (mostly I keep wishing for more time to sew).
I feel that! It helps me to remember the life comes in season and there’s a time for everything. Eventually, I get to come back around to what I want to be doing!
Wooo hooo thank you both so much
Of course! I'm so in awe of her skills and the program is just awesome!
What a great interview! Thanks for doing this. I used it for the first time yesterday to create a buffer.
That’s my favorite way to use it, too! I don’t think we will have another interview, but she’s working on an update and there will be a new tutorial once the bugs get worked out!
Thank you so much for all you both do for us. I'm still trying to use this; gee what a process. Thank you again. PS. looks like you have a different projector ceiling mount?
I currently have 4 projectors! I have 2 USTs (455 has gotten a set up video, 595 has been used in videos but doesn’t have a set up yet), Short Throw (410-my oldest videos feature the set up of this one, a new set up video is coming this month I hope to be like the 455 video, it’s a wall mount), and I just got an “Amazon” projector and Basic Niche mount (Turwell is the brand but I can’t remember the model number, it’ll be ceiling mount, video probably next month).
