    I have no words to thank you for your commitment and effort in creating quality content for those who want to make their sewing work easier. I just received my projector and it was difficult to calibrate but following your step by step everything worked fine. It was scary and I thought about returning everything, but in the end it was satisfying to see all the lines in sync. I'm a little clumsy, and I was afraid of having a lot of wires so I researched the Chromecast and stick options to connect the laptop, I opted for the Mi Stick TV but it doesn't do a direct mirror with the laptop, so I'm going to exchange it for the Amazon Firestick to make it easier. work. Thank you very much for your help and may the universe return all the help in double.

    Okay thanks for this. Realy appreciate it. So what i get is that this mat should not be moved? Meaning if i am using my table for both work and sewing
    So each time i move the mat up have to recalibrate?

    • @ProfessorPincushion
      @ProfessorPincushion  3 месяца назад

      its not so much if the cutting mat moves after it is calibrated. It is if you bump or adjust the projector or stand. If you have it calibrated, you can move the mat all you want because the pattern projection is static and scaled correctly. As long as the table height and the projector does not change you can use the table for other things without re-calibration. But still best to check the calibration real quick when starting a new project just to be sure.

    I can't find the cut Mat in 60x90cm. Can i use 60x45 cm?

    • @ProfessorPincushion
      @ProfessorPincushion  8 месяцев назад

      the mat used was 24"x36" (inches). Look at the description of this video, it has a link to more of a technical explanation to a chart under the "Projector" section. The "Projected Screen Width" will be how wide the image will be. The mat size ultimately depends on how big the pattern is. If it is small then you don't need a huge mat.

    Hi. You only mentioned Windows as the application. Can this be done on a Mac as well using a different application? Thank you.

    • @ProfessorPincushion

      yes a mac can install adobe acrobat reader. The concepts should be the same, just the full screen, zoom hotkeys will be different, you will have to figure those out.

    I don't think this process is for me. I'll stick with carbon paper and a tracing wheel.

      Im not sure what you are asking. Im assuming you are using a laptop? Im assuming your screen is not HD (1920x1080). When you plug a HD monitor, and or the projector, it should then show it as HD.

    • @BuyMyBathwater
      @BuyMyBathwater Год назад

      @@ProfessorPincushion it is HD! Just wondering if you've encountered this problem before!

    • @ProfessorPincushion
      @ProfessorPincushion  Год назад

      I have not had that issue, but you should not have an issue displaying a 2nd HD monitor from your hdmi out of your laptop. It pretty basic functionality.
