      Thank you Clinton for creating this! My husband is a programmer/developer, so I appreciate all the work you are doing for the sewing world.

    Wow, awesome video. All the best to Clinton, this is going to be an absolute game changer. Hope to see Clinton and other projector enthusiasts next year at CES. Please ask Clinton about licensing the program to sewing machine dealers to set up a ‘cutting room’ using this new technology. The ideas for this are endless. I am, as I know many others are, watching Clinton’s work with much anticipation. Thank You for bringing P&C to our attention! 🤗👏👏👏

      Oh that’s a great idea to license to sewing shops! What is CES?

      @@DaileySewsStuff hi there D. 🤗, CES is the Consumer Electronics Show held in Las Vegas every January. Tech wise P&C would be right up their ally, and with someone like you demonstrating how it works, I’m pretty sure it would be a run away hit. I looked and looked for new projectors at CES this year that might be more projector friendly but didn’t find anything new. But Clinton’s software approach is the real answer, I was looking in the wrong direction.

    Thank you for this video! Calibration and other projector “things” you need to learn are why I got a Ditto, BUT I want to learn about using normal projectors, too, and this software sounds amazing! (In the back of my mind I’m thinking in the future I might want or need to use a regular projector, and I want to understand the technology and be ready). The ditto does work well for me so far, but it is NOT completely “plug and play”. Thank you Branalyn for doing so much for us, like keeping up on the latest stuff and showing it:)

    • @DaileySewsStuff

      Thank you for such kind words! I think this software puts DIY projecting at same level of ease as Ditto! It’s a very exciting development.

      @@DaileySewsStuff I think you are right! Even after I got my Ditto I kept thinking and hoping someone would come up with a way to make projecting for sewing easier and sort of “standardize” it without making it limited like Ditto is. I think Ditto has improved a couple of things, even in just the 4 months I have had mine. One is that Amanda actually showed how to prepare a pattern using PDF Stitcher. But there are things the Ditto projector won’t ever do, like show lines in colors like a regular projector will. But using a regular projector still sounds too complicated to me. So I’m excited about this new software.

    This sounds like a game changer! How many people are beta testing it? Does the beta testing group include any who aren’t highly skilled with computers? (Just curious!).

    • @DaileySewsStuff
      @DaileySewsStuff  6 месяцев назад +1

      Currently, it’s alpha testers who are all pretty projector experienced but it will expand I believe.

      I made sure to invite some beginners to help test the software, as well as more proficient people, as I want the software to work for everyone.
