I bought a projector, but haven't taken it out of the box yet because I'm watching your videos to learn how to use it. You very briefly mentioned that using Adobe Illustrator was an option instead of Infinity Designer. I already have a paid subscription for Adobe Illus, and I already know my way around that program, so I'd like to use it instead of Infinity. My question is, can a watch your "how to use Infinity" video to learn how and what I need, or can, do to PDF patterns files, for using them with projectors, then apply those same principles but work in Illustrator instead? ie: Can I stitch pages together in illustrator or should I use PDF stitcher first? Can I change line type, size and color? Can I make alterations to the pattern to lengthen a hem, grade between sizes, or do a FBA, all with illustrator? I appreciate your help. Thanks.
I would recommend using Project & Cut or Pattern Projector for calibrating and projecting but… Yes, you can absolutely use Illustrator instead of Affinity Designer for adjusting patterns, and the steps are largely the same!
Thank you!
Great and informative video. I will look into Pdf stitcher. Thank you.
Glad it was helpful! PDF Stitcher is such an awesome program! I have a bunch of videos about it if you need help.
Well done!!! Thank you so much!
Glad it helped!
