    My dad bought a red max EBZ8001 on 2008. He used it for tree lawn care business until he stopped using on 2013 and he puts around 4 hours a day on it. Yes he does put it in full throttle all the time when he’s using it. He put approximately 980 to 990 hours per year and times that by five that’s around 5000 hours. Since he stopped using it. On 2013 which was 11 years ago, I’ve been using it every fall to clean up the yard. I put about 1 to 2 hours per year. I have additionally put on 22 hours per year and it’s still running to this day. I’ve ran a 45:1 to 50:1 oil gas mix. I Just have a question I have been wondering if they discontinued the EBZ8001 model? I haven’t seen Those red max models anywhere.

    Slotted holes on the safety pin but also put a 45 degree chamfer on the top of the pin then it will automatically push the pin out by itself as it travels up but lock in as it travels downward (kinda like how a door knob latches automatically when you close a door) maybe retrofit a door knob latch as your safety pin???

    • @wallysworkin823
      @wallysworkin823 День назад

      I didn’t do that because the pin is round, I thought about that but i need to make the pin square so it doesn’t rotate.

  • @vanblindguy4600
    @vanblindguy4600 7 дней назад

    I've never understood why they put the hinge inset from the end of the trailer. This causes the tail of the trailer to extend to the ground when fully raised which then drags the ground as you try to pull forward with the trailer fully raised in order to allow the contents to fully empty???

    • @wallysworkin823
      @wallysworkin823 День назад

      Moving it forward a little takes a large amount of load off the winch, it’s easier to lift. It’s a balance of not going too far so it doesn’t drag.

    It looks like a candidate for Kyle Carter, but perhaps it's not rusty enough. I sympathise with you over the diesel cost, but be thankful that you don't live here in the U.K. where it costs more than £1.50 per litre. From the way you describe your plans, it seems as though the cab is about the only part of the vehicle you are intending to keep; it's a pity that you had to haul back so many heavy parts that you don't need. Best wishes.
