I was one who was interested in the Seed ball as a fair number of British youtubers use them, having some sort of deal with Seed BUT,in the UK at least, the majority of models in the range are out of stock at the moment and, apparently, their customer service is rubbish! I’ve also spoken to a couple of golfers who have used Seed and Vice balls and, universally, the Vice balls, Pro and Pro Air (Soft also but now discontinued) are subjectively said to be way better plus you can “mix &match” Vice models/colours to get your discount!

Glad you reviewed this underrated ball! I’ve been playing this for two years and love it. I love the Zip too. Wilson has a great line from the profile, zip, triad, and the Staff Model. One for everyone and every situation.

So I played the older version today. I really love the alignment for putting. Driver distance was fairly good. I did find the ball ran out a bit on chips. I really want to like it! I’ll give it another go later. Still loving the q star tour.

Genuine question, you said all Taylormade balls, what’s your opinion on Noodles? As a beginner golfer these are my go to for cheap balls, since I generally lose them quickly haha

Do you ever hit your gamer ball as a baseline test when you get into your ball tests? I know we're not swing robots so I figure you might see how you're hitting with your gamer ball as a baseline especially when you start seeing new ball speed records with a ball. Some days you could just be flushing it more than usual ya know?

So which ball do you suggest for a 9 handicapper 66 year old with a 91mph ?

Just played my first round since late may. +2 on the front, +3 on the back. Great for me. I finally understand what you mean by forgiving. That ball was very forgiving everywhere. That right now, with the Tripple Track (like my marksman TT putter) is the ball to beat, FOR ME. As long as you play gor more rollout (5-10 feet) you can get on with them

I love Vice but i would buy bulk if i can have a box in each color offered. And yes I did notice I lost distance with this new years Vice.

How do you test golf balls? How do you tell if a mis hit is 1 or 2 yards short? If you're having a bad golf day, are the balls that you test all bad?

Seems like Pinnacle is the Tudor to Titleist’s Rolex. Will definitely have to pay more attention when I play the Rush from now on.

Cut blue is the best, hits like a pro v. If you lose balls why pay a premium ?? Give the blues a shot.

I just watched a guy on YT who has a low 90’s driver swing speed have the best performance with the tour x vs the tour and chrome soft. So, definitely goes against what you experienced. I think it’s important each golfer test these balls themselves vs going off what someone else experienced.

Choosing between these and the cut red. I can't decide which one's going to be better for me with a faster swing speed, but needing the forgiveness.

To the extent that a ball is objectively “good,” you have to take the golfer out of the equation. Titleist golf balls are the best because of their quality control. You won’t get variation in cover thickness, uncentered cores, inconsistent mixtures in cores, etc. You know that what you put in is what you get out.

I'm a 3 handicap. The very first thing about the Kirkland ball that I noticed was the lack of distance 100%.

Another great review which should narrow down the choice of which Seed golf ball should suit you. Seed are very popular in the UK.

You're breaking my heart man! I love how this golf ball feels in plays. It's my current gamer. That said, my home course is a tight one and I have struggled with out of bounds shots since I returned to the game a year and a half ago. Before finding this channel, I had not considered forgiveness in golf balls. What would you recommend a 13 handicap with a 105 driver and 90 mph iron swing. A ball that is really forgiving but also will stick greens?

A couple of years ago, I picked up a PXG Gen 5 when it was on sale. I got fitted later. I have really enjoyed it. If you are a veteran or first responder, definitely get in on their Hero's program if you are considering anything PXG.

Great info as always. Have you done a review of the Saint nine u pro and the venture rd1 golf balls pretty affordable. Higher compression for faster swing speeds. Been using the Pinnacle rush and love them.

I like this ball. I started playing these after seeing a review by James Robinson. I'm a senior golfer, I use a full set of hybrid irons so not much spin. I just play them short and roll up on the green. Driver distance is as good as anything I've used can't beat the price. Thanks for your review.

I'm a staunch believer in the Q-Star Tour Divides. I'm a low single-digit index but I just get better results with the Q-Star Tours than the pro model balls out there, and I agree 100% with the Divides as a training aid for putting and working on controlling spin around the greens. Plus, everyone in my group knows exactly which ball is mine at all times 😂

I like hitting Kirkland balls. Some of my best distances have been achieved with the Performance ball. I also like MaxFli (No hating) matt finish balls and TaylorMade Tour Response. I'm 58 with a swing speed of around 95-100 MPH. A few years ago I had an average of 103 MPH.
