    Think I will stick with the Taylormade Speed Soft. I have had good success with those. I am a slow swing speed senior and have been playing with them since last season. I play about 3 times per week. Good review on the Snell. Putting the urethane cover on a low cost ball is a good concept but it looks to me like it might need some tweaks. I found your review on the Speed Soft much more favorable too. Probably a better ball for both of us. :)

    I’ve been using the Snell 3.0 in all my rounds the last couple of weeks. The durability is off the charts, I can’t seem to scuff it enough not to use. I just got 2 dozen Cut Greys that I’m going to try this week, then I’ll choose between Snell, Cut or Sugar G1’s.

    Great review!! I wanted a 2 piece option to go along with my Vice Pro Air, and the Get Sum will be the one!! I "used" to be a 3 handicap, but now being an 11 this 2.0 just not forgiving enough for me at my current age and skill.

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  2 месяца назад +1

      I do firmly believe that the 2.0 is for soft swingers. I feel like the get sum is so much better for a variety of swingers.

    Hello GBA, Have watched and loved your videos. Love that the Wilson Zip made #2!!! I would like to know where the Maxfli Straightfli wound up on the top 100. ???

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад +2

      The maxfli straight ended up at number 19. Definitely worthy of a top 20 spot. One of my favorite two-piece golf balls to recommend when someone wants the ball to go long and straight

      @@GolfBallAddict Thanks for the answer. I like it but I used Wilson Zip until it got hard to find. I might give some the top 10 balls a try. My driver swing is about 80-85mph. Definately need something forgiving too. Thanks. :)

    I haven't had any issues with Snell durability. I played the MTB Black for a while and then bought the new Get Sum in bulk. All have been very durable. My current sleeve of Get Sum balls is on its fifth round.

    I used the Vice pro plus from 2020 couple of days ago. Man were they straight and long off driver for me (92 mph swing speed). 230 yds. Problem is I hit Mid irons and wedges high to begin with and with the spin on these balls even higher. They kept and falling short of normal. Anyway, I figure I need a two piece ball for less spin and was hoping for snell Prime 2.0 but with forgiveness issues I don’t think so. Thinking Get Sum. What do you think of that idea?

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад +2

      Definitely try the GET SUM. it's an incredible golf ball. I like it much better than the 2.0

  • @stevenagy9441
    @stevenagy9441 4 месяца назад +1

    Kind of sounds like it's a urethane version of the TruFeel which you discussed is good when struck well, but punishes mis-hits, so a more advanced player with a slower swing is the market for it? And the Snell has more check than the TruFeel since it's urethane?

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад +1

      I think that is a great comparison and comp. Yes the Snell 2.0 definitely spins more.

  • @Mike-xe1dr
    @Mike-xe1dr 4 месяца назад +2

    These new Snell balls are based on 7 iron swing speed the 2.0 is for somebody at 125 yds. or less but the compression is 80 to 85 which is confusing to me thats the same as the 3.0. Also Trust golf has a 2 piece urethane golf ball would like to see comparison when you get a chance.Thanks

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад +2

      Yeah it is a little confusing to me as well. I don't feel like the 2.0 would be for extremely slow swingers. I'm going to let it sit for a couple of weeks and see how it compares to other two-piece models I test in the future.

    Wilson zip is fantastic 2 piece golf ball with alot of spin for a non urethane cover

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад +1

      The Wilson zip ended up number two on my top 100 list. By far one of my favorites.

    • @stevenagy9441
      @stevenagy9441 4 месяца назад +1

      I love the Zip's spin for full shots, but for short chips, it doesn't offer much.
      In my experience, the regular Q-star is my go-to for two-piece balls with some greenside check. For chips, I also like Q-star better than the GetSum, which I find to be only marginally better than the Zip for chips.

    It’s not a urethane coating. It’s a urethane cover.

    • @GolfBallAddict
      @GolfBallAddict  4 месяца назад

      You are correct that the cover is made of urethane. However I'm talking about the polyurethane that is sprayed over the top of the golf ball in the last steps to protect the paint as well as the logo of the golf ball.
