Another GameCube Review with GameCube Galaxy

EA Sports Big is the golden age of arcade-style sports games imo! I wish EA Sports Big existed today. With that being said, you can't beat pulling off over-the-top tricks at 60 fps with Freekstyle. Excellent review man!!! 💯😎

I used to play this one on PC back in the day. I might have to check it out again!

Loved this game as a kid, I used to play it with my neighbor. The only thing I hate are the ruts or mud on some parts of the track that slow you down, even when you feel like you avoided them, they still slow you down sometimes. Super annoying.

I've just been playing this game and having a blast. The tracks are nicely designed and have a lot of nuance. Most corners have muddy patches to consider, and you have to learn how much air you need at every jump of the map - maximum airtime is not always the best option, but it does allow you to squeeze in extra tricks for that sweet boost.

The rubber-banding of the AI is brutal especially when you are trying to get in first place and staying there the other racers seem to get a burst of speed every time you pass them.

I remember EA Sports Big for Facebreaker which I actually enjoyed despite it getting absolutely destroyed by critics. But some games obviously weren't made for critics and they can still succeed.

NGL, personally after watching the video, 1080 for the N64 seems more appealing(which I already have). This is of course after searching GC games on Ebay. Maybe If the Panda was available it might push me to bid XD

So the remaster or sequel for the switch 2 should be incredible, theoretically speaking ?

Impressive list, but whoaaaat Rollercoaster Tycoon on XBOX OG dafuq, didn't even know about this :O Huh wish they did a port of Chronicles of Riddick but I think the game is too graphical intense to port it on Gamecube. Many of the PS2 Games which weren't a multiport should be ported on gamecube but yah.

I was thinking often on buying Batman Vengeance which seemed to me like a kinda good Batman Animated Series Episode. As a kid I watched the show a lot on german tv, which wasn't often suitable for kids. Ultimate Spider-Man was still a fun and good looking game, but the race with the torch was kinda difficult as hell. So I sold this port. The Hulk Game reminds me a lot of the 1st Prototype Game, which was by far my favorite open world Game.

Love to watch nintendo fans gush about how the best nintendo racing game was the one Sega made.

Analog stick?? Now hang on a second. I have this for the GameCube, and I can only use the D-Pad. How did you get it to the analog stick? I gotta know.

the PS2 ports allow you to roam the grounds of hogwart much more, you also have more prefects to deal with.

It's always been so interesting to me that the Gamecube was practically the home of Sonic in that generation of consoles. Yeah, he had a few games on other platforms but Gamecube had them all. Plus the adventure games were the essential Sonic games. I remember as a kid I'd sometimes be jealous of kids who had ps2 or xbox because I wanted to play stuff like Halo and Devil May Cry, but looking back I realize that being a Nintendo kid also made me a Sonic fan and that never would have happened without the love he got on that system.

I'm not a fan of Harry Potter, but I do remember playing Chamber of Secrets on PS2 and I enjoyed playing the Lego games. Also I looked at the I notice different camera angles in this video for Chamber of Secrets and thought I was going mental. Just got back and the PS2 and GameCube/Xbox versions literally have different camera angles! Also good number of areas have different details as well. I found out EA UK did the PS2 version while Eurocom did the Xbox and GameCube versions. Not too sure if the Xbox and GameCube versions are enhanced ports of the PS2 version or game was made for Xbox and GameCube first and was just outsourced to EA UK to put on the PS2. Though I'm not too sure what's definitive.

I played CoS on the GC back in the day and loved it. But GameCube games were really expensive and the ony reason I had that one was because I found a cheap used copy. That being said, I still hope to slowly build a HP retro collection at home. Fingers crossed and can do it. Also, mispronouncing accio is quite common, especially for people who put the books over the movies and read them to memorization before the movies were out.

One of the very first things I'll do upon arriving at FL next year is a complete retro gaming store tour with my older brother. I just hope prices are similar to eBay's!! :D

i need to play these games. i only played the Lego ones but not the game cube ones.

I played the Hobbit a couple of times(PS2 version) in the last few years, my first playthrough ended after running to a game breaking glitch. After the boss at the graveyard in Merkwood forest my save file became corrupted, i was stuck unable to save or reenter if i exited out of the save. I was so pissed and dropped the game for about a year, i figured out if you have 2 files running and overright each as you go it bypasses the glitch, i was able to beat it my 2nd playthrough. The platforming and combat at times can be infuriating but when its good its really good and you get in the swing of things. Now the biggest issue was some puzzles, if it werent for online playthroughs i couldnt get passed a few, otherwise i loved the look and feel and its worth the experience dispite some drawbacks.

Goblet of fire to me is the weakest of the harriet Potter games other than the deadly hallow 1 & 2 games

I have this memory when I was 11 or 12 of powering through Chamber of Secrets in one day. It took me, I think, literally the entire day, but I was hooked on it. Great video, as always, GCG!

I really really hope they remake PacMan World 2. The remake for the first was so good, and the second one was my childhood

great episode my friend! harry potter games are such an interesting topic because there are so many different versions of the same movie game. For instance the Gameboy Color Harry Potter games are turn based RPG's while the GBA ones for the same movie/book are adventure games. PC versions are also completely unique compared to their console counterparts and I believe there are even different versions for PS1 vs PS2 and the like. I had no idea Jeremy Soule did the soundtrack's though! I'll have to add them to my fantasy music playlist alongside his other albums. and speaking of QWC it's so cool that they came out with a new Quidditch game recently. ranked online Quidditch has been many a Potterhead's dream for years so to see it brought to life recently is just so cool.
