😂
Great Vid guys! Newer sub but been binging.. Happy New Year!
Thanks for watching! Happy new year!!
Nice. That was my only concern with the antenna and the long body bolts.
Mine too! Just gotta throw a spacer in there. And after a season of use it was great! The one bolt we didn’t space enough and scratched a bit but not bad.
There’s a RUclipsr called Colt builds it you have to look him up. He just did the Holy Cross. He and his dad did it when he was a kid at the Holy Cross there Koch builds it. Look it up once he’s a pretty cool outfit.
Turns out we were in Colorado when he was! Someone pointed him out in our wheeler lake video!
That’s a lot of words! I’m not reading all of that😂. I keep waiting for the KRX to have more trouble than the Canam but it’s not a significant difference. I have the RS rr and love it! For some reason canam and Polaris love their stuff running hot at 200 degrees. My cousins KRX 4 seater never gets over 165 no matter what. I was riding in it with 4 adults and it didn’t care. Wasn’t exciting to drive but it did everything well.
Yea honestly they both perform well, and do something better than each other! The only place the KRX underperforms is if there’s significant wheel speed needed. But beyond that, they’re fairly comparable.
Great vid guys! Enjoyed it! Hope you all had a Merry Christmas!
You as well!! Thanks for watching 😊
@ absolutely, love the content
Glad to see you guys Happy Holidays
You as well!!
Lockland, I’m not reading that to many words 🤣 that’s me 💯😂
Awesome job guys! Seen alot of vids on Holly Cross definitely on my bucket list. Cant wait for the Moab Utah vid definitely my kind of wheeling in the desert 💪😎👊
I'm Curious to know, about What Altitude do you guys ride at, at home? You mentioned how much less power you had at altitude. We ride almost exclusively above 7k ft. P.S. Is Kawasaki going to come out with a more powerful KRX or what??? lol
At home in Ontario we’re usually between 250-350 m/ 820-1100 ft. We have much more oxygen 😂 Holy Cross city is at about 3500 m/ 11,500 ft, so we noticed a drastic difference! And honestly, if they come out with the supercharged Kawi, I’ll be on it like white on rice. Love the KRX, and at home they boast more than enough power, but on these trails I greatly noticed the lack of ponies. Paired with the super low gearing they have, it was hard to get wheel spin.
Hey guys! Vlad is here. when you hold a radio, you nee to make sure antenna is vertical and away from car and you have to speak 2-3 inch away from mic. than will be a true test.
I was NOT aware she was your wife she made it seem like she was single and was extremely hands on
AuxBeam 8 Gang Switch Pod is great, love it and can't go wrong.
You guys are living the dream, looks like fun.
I would be interested in a talk about the spring isolator rubbing on the shock body and slapping the isolator adjusting rings. On my 24 KRX4 with Fox Live Valves the front shocks are making noises that seem to be the above described on sudden compression. Sounds like a loud tap and a zipper noise? Could it be the lack of nitrogen pressure?
I would try lowering the cross over rings down so they are 1/4” from the slider when parked and see if that helps with the clunk noise.
Outstanding videography! Glad you had a good time. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching 😊
How do u think the razors an canams would fare in these conditions?
Well… the RZR that was with us broke before even getting to the trail, and they had to rent a Kawi.. but the can am that did this trail with us did great!
@d3offroad thanks I'm really up in the air what to get i think I want a kawasaki then I might want a can am..
Okay on that heat shield thanks for responding but I went to dealer and they didn’t have any clue what I was talking about that is why I wanted a part number thanks in advance if you can help me!👍
Oh sorry! I believe the part number is 14093-1390 or they might pull it up as 14093G
Looks beautiful.❤
Great vid guys
Thanks!
When you select the pulse mode, is there supposed to be a clicking sound constantly
We don’t have a pulse mode but I would guess that is just the relay turning on and off if you have that ability
Great vid, subscribe!
You mentioned in one of your videos about a heat shield for the KRX 1000 any more information would be appreciated
The newer models krx come with a plastic heat deflector for in the front end to help direct the hot air off the fan/rad out the sides rather then back into the center console. You can order it from dealer and install it on older krx models hope that helps!
Great video people ! Kinda tires you running ?

I'll admit I haven't read through all the comments but thought I'd share a comment at the risk that this was already mentioned. When using a handheld radio, antenna position should match between both radios. What I mean by this is if the antenna is pointing up (vertical) on the transmitting radio, it would be best if the antenna were also pointing up (vertical) on the receiving radio. I noticed that while testing the transmitting radio antenna was close to horizontal. I'm not positive but would be willing to bet the receiving radio was being used at that time with the antenna vertical. At close distance this isn't a big deal but at longer distances can affect the quality of the signal being received.

Glad you made it to CO. I Hope you're having a great trip! What's wrong with that Chevy?? lol it should pull that hill with ease! 😄
@D3 OFFROAD what amp fuse did you use for the display & USB port? I know the passenger side charging port is 10amp because I've blown it before. lol
the time of year you picked is golden, 60 days from this trip is a hole new ballgame. Snow till June.
Hey guys great video 😁.. having a x3 myself I'm curious to see how the oil cooler install went. I'm considering adding one myself. I raced off-road with the Ontario off-road Racing Association for the better part of 12 Years. So I still have some hard Parts kicking around that I can use. Did he end up using one of these ZRP oil cooler adapter or did he Plumbing somewhere else?
His oil cooler came with a billet adapter that went inbetween factory cooler with some ports so it still uses coolant to help bring oil up to temp and has the air to oil cooler mounted up on the cage for additional cooling. After riding with it he never had over heating issues the rest of the trip! Prior to it we had to stop often to let it cool
@d3offroad ok thanks for the info.. And thanks for the great work you guys do 😁
I have a 2020 yxz1000r. Has a little Weller treatment and will break 90mph. I ride with turbo S and XRC guys, and I am all in their business when we are flat out, and I have no turbo. I have a Kawasaki 1000 in my shop right now that I am putting some go fast in for a guy right now. I will say it is smooth once you get moving, and the shifter is smooth, and the door handle is good, but I can reach my fingers right over the window base and grab my latch on my Yamaha. The Kawasaki is too darn big, with a big seating area and a tiny roll cage. I feel like my head is out the window. Im 6 foot, and I have a stereo system mounted to my roof over head and still have tons of room up there. And dang, man, that 22' Kawasaki is weak!! If you are going down the trail 80 or 90 that has to kmph instead of mph because everyone in the group of about 20 I ride with that has tried a Kawi can't stay with us and they quickly move to another brand. We have all the Kawis weeded out now. I will say one thing bad about the yxz1000, and that is the lack of low range. And I installed a recluse clutch and hate it, but that's on me. The new yxz1000r has a granny gear first with 5 regular. And you can get a crawl box, but thats 5 grand. But the yxz would run about 80 mph before I touched it. The Kawi and the Honda are nice machines but they need some juice.
Well yeah its gonna be tough in a GOKART
Nice Video. Love that trail. Rule #1. Have only one spotter.
LOL usually do, when it’s hard to hear the main spotter, sometimes the second one needs to pass along the message the best they can 😂
Hello, Are you interested in testing our products? We would like to invite you to test the Rear Vented Windshield for your 2024 CF moto Uforce 1000XL
Where is there a Uforce 1000XL in this video?
Wow you caught Colt in his S10 up there at the lake. His channel is Colt Builds It (formerly with the Bleeping Jeep channel) The S10 he built last year for the OnX Challenge.
We were admiring it!! We’ll definitely go check him out. Lol.
Nice
Looks like you had a great time in Colorado. Can’t wait to see what you do in Utah.
That Can-Am of Laughlin’s doesn’t seem to have a smooth of engage of the clutch it jerks a lot
Looks like some beautiful country, scenery and views to see an awesome trails so far
Very cool
Thanks man! Hope you’re doing well!
@ been doing well just trying to get paint projects wrapped up beautiful video happy holidays to you and Mel.
Welding tip if you weld towards your helmet its much easier to see
One of the Best on RUclips. What month is this. Can you camp along the trail.
Thank you so much!! It was the first week of October. And there was a few spots where it looks like people camped! Also a trail at the end where Webster pass ends and Red Cone starts and it looked more like an overland trail, might be worth checking out if you’re into that.
@d3offroad thanks for the quick response. Hope to see more videos.
I'm planning on having more than one weekend sooo..
You have successfully taught me some electrical basics. You should be very proud because it has never made sense to me.
Glad we can help 😊
Might hit up Matts off-road recovery in Utah. It is a very successful YT channel They are down around the hurricane area. I hope you guys enjoyed your trip down in our part of the world!
We went there and saw them! It will be in one of our later videos still being edited 😎
@@d3offroad Awesome! Cant wait to see it!
Keep putting out the videos! I don't think you guys are quit hitting the algorithms yet for YT to really push them out. You should be getting close! Keep it up!
Thanks so much! Working on it 💪🏻
How do you figure out the springs you need for the amount of weight in the vehicle. Driver & passenger weight. and additional coolers and accessories?
Maybe we should make a video specific on just that to help everyone at home spec their springs themselves
You guys have the best information! You literally have the only videos with valuable information on setting up your shock and sprigs.
Nooooo.... We need you in the SxS world! lol
you need to get these from JAKO, Lightning™ RX4 Rapid Tire Deflator Gauge (0-60 PSI)
That’s so fancy! The old oh look it has a belly on the tire works like a charm 🤣
