As a Retired Boeing Engineer, I salute you Sir. Your videos are FULL of facts and data, not rumours or opinions. I've shared your videos across the Interweb spectrum for your concise explanations. I see my money spent soon for your KRX revalve services. Thank you so so much for posting your videos. Thankless job and it takes a ton of video editing work, and hah, you do most takes in One Shoot! As one to another, there are picture takers, and photographers. keep up the F'n excellent work dood.!!!!!! Hah, Go Red Wings!
Thank You, I did learn a lot which would seem counter intuitive. I wish my machine had more than just a single spring to work with but spring prices here in Canada are plain ridicules!
Thank you for this video. He helps me understand more how to set things I will get together with my son and we will do some more adjusting to make the KRX ride like we like. Thank you keep up the good work.
Very nice man, I followed along pretty good. I do my own shocks as well but I never understood the math, I just know what it needs or doesn't by driving it and adjust from there, (not very scientific) so it's cool to get the technical explanation. Can't wait until the next one! 👍
Killer vid you guys, so much useful info in less than 30 minutes... First vid I've saved in a while for future reference. Thanks for the content! 🏁🏁 p.s. please add the XL/XXL flex fit option for your hats!
Any recommendations for what would cause the front end clunking when hitting choppy potholes only? This is on a 2024 RZR XP. I have been trying to adjust preload with no success. I currently have my tenders in the front tightened closer together from stock thinking that giving my main spring more travel would soften the potholes. I'm not a small fella and always carry a passenger with some weight in the back also. Maybe I need to open up the tender more? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks and great video.
So if a person was only rock crawling/slow technical trail riding would you want taller and softer springs??? Very interesting video I like how y’all post this kinda stuff!!
Personally no, I would still want correct length and rate because when you go taller softer spring you need to add more preload to achieve the same ride height… springs are not intended for a soft flexy feeling that is achieved with valving the springs job is to support the weight above it without to much preload
You will want to setup your preload and spring rate according for all of that weight so if you have springs on your car and you know their weights measure their length with people in the car and gear loaded up to see if you get the desired ride height that 1-2” of preload. If you need to run 3-5” of preload with that weight added you need new springs
Would you happen to know the spring rate of the all things utv tender springs? I’m running factory lower springs and those tenders. My krx will beat you to death at any speed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I do not I would need to buy a set and put them on the press and measure them but I can say the doing internal valving will greatly increase the comfort of the ride

Shoot us an email maybe we can help get you some setup better 😎
Best sxs channel I've found. Total off road nube here. On pre-load, 1 to 2 " per spring or total between both? Thanks.

great video .Im still on stock springs ,love the videos you make it easier to try and understand shocks and springs.thanks
I’ve been toying with the idea of rebuilding my friends shocks so I’m geeking out over this video
Glad we can help!

Awesome video! Very informative.

@@d3offroad well said. Honestly it really makes sense now that you say that! That’s why we like your videos and the information you provide!! 🍻
What considerations need to be made for driver and passenger weight. and rear cargo weight? Really appreciate the videos!

@@d3offroad Thank you!
Respectfully you said the crossover wrong. 2:1 is every 2” your shock moves is 1” of the isolator
Good catch! I am human and make mistakes! 🍻

What spring company do you recommend for the krx
Eibach springs or MTS or Schmidity are all our go to choices for quality springs
