Using bolts on those 2 back holes was smart, the model I installed used nuts and machine head screws and getting my hands in up top to hold the nuts was a huge PIA!! Love the content by the way, keep up the good work!
That's the first thing I did to my krx when I bought it two years ago. I got mine from full access UTV. Second thing I did was took off those mud scrapers on the calipers. Rocks get stuck in between there and tear up your wheel. And now it has a Super ATV half inch skid plate from front to rear right on the top of that steel plate. Along with Factory trailing arm guards
Agreed. That is one of the first things i did as well. Sure enough the extra plate I put on has visible marks of a good impact or 2 that most likely would have punched through the stocker. Good vid!
Thanks for the order!! It just got wrapped up and will be leaving first thing in the morning 😁 have fun on the install! Just drilling holes upside down is crappy otherwise it’s very easy and quick!
Yes Steve machine the rack is smoked from the offset wide rims putting a lot of stress on it, we have a brute performance rebuild kit but are yet to install it
Men see with their hands from early teen age lol, called special ability. Is there a possibility to have thicker than 1/8 and would it be any benefit, also what type of steel is used for your product, I’m guessing mild steel, would it be better to use carbon steel quenched. I’m not experienced, just throwing my thoughts out there.
If someone is extremely hard on their machine we can laser cut thicker material no problem, we use pickled and oiled mild steel having that added under the factory welded on skid you end up with 3/16” of steel which is pretty stout! On top of that many folks than go and add the 1/2” UHMW skids as well for even greater protection
Camera man knew the assignment😉
That joint is PHAT isn’t it lol … every video
Just ordered my skid plate! Can not wait to get it and get installed. Really appreciate all the quality content!
Awesome! Thank you! 🙏

Have you had any problems with to much play in the rack and pinion. I have a horrible death shake.

@@d3offroad that would make another great video, not much out there as far as steering upgrades go.
Yes you do. More protection.
How did you blow up a motor by washing it?
It just happened to bend the rods in his ultra 4 after I washed it 😂 so now we leave the detailing up to Steve.

Will it fit the Krx 4?
We haven’t put one on a KRX 4 yet but it should! If it doesn’t fit you are welcome to return it.
It fit perfectly, thanks !
Which kinda of hitch is that? It doesn't look like it bolts to the suspension
The hitch on that machine is dragon fire
What kind of tires are you two running on the KRX?
Motoravage XL 35”
