you guys work great together, been married for 40 year and we still would of had to argue just a bit. LOL, cool to see you both work together. Keep up the good work
Awesome setup guys love the garage working on get me a set up similar Hard work pays off goes to show you. Love the channel and how to vids keep em coming
Great video guys, you 2 are funny as hell. 😆 I think getting some shraders and giving my nitrogen a top up is high on the list of spring maintenance. I better see if my local car dealership has nitrogen as well! Keep up the good work guys.
So the billet That you sell I have a friend that’s interested in changing and putting straighter vowels in him his but maybe it be smarter wiser just to buy the build a cat that you have how much are they for the milk caps?
To do this you can just jack the machine up all the way so the tires are hanging, then remove the cap from the machine and do the work at your work bench. Then install and charge the shock. No need to remove the shock at all
Hi, I'm finally ready to tackle this project! I live in South Louisiana and it's very hot and humid. Should I do this project indoors with climate control? Or would purging with nitrogen during reassembly be sufficient to keep out other gas & moisture?
There is a tool that you set the screw inside it and it wraps around the resi body and seals against it like a chamber that you charge and while it’s under pressure they install the screw then remove the chamber
Find the Schrader valves here d3offroad.com/products/schrader-valve-npt
and the Billet Caps here d3offroad.com/products/billet-aluminum-resi-caps
Links aren't working?
Hmm they seem to work fine on our end?
@@d3offroad Strange, could be my firewall too. No worries.
Great videos! The link for the end caps shows page not found? Are you no longer selling them?

Thanks!!
Mel the machinist! You’re right Mel is definitely better to look at.
Great job guys very enjoyable lesson with plenty of fun
Thanks for the video lessons. Question, is there a torque value on tightening the Schrader valve?
Just make sure the core is snug! It’s so small it doesn’t need much “torque” or it can strip the threads
Man I really appreciate this video good looking out
So how much is the bill it That you have or just a ballpark idea of each or 474
I don’t follow ya?? Try again haha
What did you guys use on the schrader valve threads for sealing?
Our valves come with sealant on the threads already!

Can you type that again? Haha I don’t understand
To do this job, it only requires removing and inverting the shock, then removing the cap from the reservoir? No need to remove the Springs, etc?
To do this you can just jack the machine up all the way so the tires are hanging, then remove the cap from the machine and do the work at your work bench. Then install and charge the shock. No need to remove the shock at all
Awesome! Thanks for the heads up. I'll be ordering some valves from you this week.
Do you offer a full kit with valves and tap per chance?
@@BIGJOESXR At this time we do not offer them with a tap, that is a good idea moving forward though!

Can the shocks be recharged with air vs nitrogen? Thanks?
No they can not
Need a t handle
I actually assumed those stock caps were plastic. Aren’t the stock IFP’s in the reservoir plastic?
IFP are plastic in the non live valve shocks if they are live valve then they are aluminum as well!
How does fox set these from facotry?
