What are those crossover hops in the end??

I love this so much. You know the choreography is good when it makes the song even better. I skated competitively for 7 years until I got badly injured at 13 when I started doing triples. 20 years later, I miss it more than ever and just went on the ice again a few weeks ago. I felt like a baby clinging to the boards unable to do basic crossovers, couldn’t believe I used to do this. I’ll be following this channel for inspiration and tips!

I struggle with swinging my arms when I cross. My coach has me practice with my arms in a table position. I really like I need to go back to step 1 and work on crossing drills.

I wish it was instant 😭 Mine is no longer a toe waltz jump, but sadly the skating foot still does not slide all the way past the picking foot before take-off.

Ah, the dreaded toe loop. My least favorite jump. I learned to toe waltz as a kid. Now my coach has me do pivots to get this jump right. It still looks and feels awkward when I do it. No other jump ruins my self esteem like the toe loop 😂 It feels like there is so much rotation happening on the ice rather than in the air.
