My students have trouble in choreographic sequence with Toe steps, i have run out of ideas to explain the toe turns so they flow, I know the blade obviously if you have a pattern 99 vs a majestic. Anyway you guys always have great ideas and I always credit you in my lessons .I even have a student following you, we have a very similar style of teaching and I am always open to ideas .I always feel I can learn from a 5 year old so I am open to suggestions -Thank you in advance

I skated competitively for 7 years until I got badly injured at 13 when I started doing triples. 20 years later, I miss it more than ever and just went on the ice again a few weeks ago. I felt like a baby clinging to the boards unable to do basic crossovers, couldn’t believe I used to do this. I’ll be following this channel for inspiration and tips!

You are very good dancer! Lots of Sports with choreography these days seem to be compulsory and without feeling. Yours did not feel like that. Don't get me started on those women's gymnastics floor routines or balance beam routines. They ought to make it look good or not do it at all and just let them tumble like the men without music. After a while the grace leaves the sport, just gotta quit pretending and call out the elephant in the room.
This is so funny lol but true. Only this channel and Ice Skating Online are the two instructors I've seen that have really elegant posture and skating. Of course, Lloyd who runs the other channel is a former national athlete for France, but even among Olympians, the grace and elegance seems to be disappearing. I didn't realise how bad it had gotten until I saw that horrendous routine from Alexandra Trusova. It was so bad and yet she was expecting to win with that! And people defending that routine as if it was revolutionary or something.
