Yep! Actually, I broke my ligament trying to copy this videos 😂

THANK UUUUUUU

Thank you!!!!!
i love you for this .
thanks
This is one of the best rotation exercise/practice videos. Thank you so much for sharing!
AfrikanHairGod oh is it you that skated in the yoi costume
AfrikanHairGod I' am your sub!
Wow, you're amazing, I can barely do a single rotation.
Jayd Knight same guys ;-;
I can't do 1 In a half which means I will never be able to do an axel 😭
Sara Sadiq oh I’m on my doubles now lol
Sara Sadiq ty and hope you will land your axel soon 😊
Kaitlynloves2SK8 I hope I end up like you!
I needed youtube when I was a kid and teaching myself to skate.
BRING THIS CHANNEL BACK --I'm literally obsessed with all the exercises you guys have posted --- MORE!!!
This actually looks like a good workout
One of the best off ice training videos I have seen.
Thank you 😊
This is so helpful
Fabulous collection of the jumping off ice sequences. For great skaters this is the secret to more accurate jumps. Sports science says these exercises are priming the muscles range of motion with strength, breath, coordination, flow and precision as well as the mental training.
I love how you didn't waste time talking in this video.🤩
ive been stuck at 1 3/4 rotations for the longest time. im going to try doing this routine everyday! thank you!
I wanna be a figure skater AHH this video helped a lot, thanks!
I'm not even a skater and I want to try this
How are your successes?
Mariana Palazuelos me too!!!
Wow, impressive. I can't do any doubles but this has still given me some great ideas. Thanks for posting. Who is the skater dude?
Can you do it yet?
Thanks I finally figured out to rotate!
me too!
How?? I still haven't figured out double :(
Bing Sun for my doubles I did lots of caf work
Bing Sun you cant ‘figure out’ how to do a double, its not a puzzle. You have to practice it consistently and for quite a while before you can manage two revolutions
This is a great video for those like me who have no idea what jumps are all about. Until now they all looked to me like the same spins in the air. Now that I see this video I see that there are different ways to take off and use the feet & blades of the skates. Neat!
I used to do this floor exercise and then the long stretches in the evening. It just makes sense to practice jumps on the floor before you start on the ice.
Wow, excellent height!
wooooah.. only if I had room to practice this (peferably someone from downstair won't knock with murderous look XD) anyway very cooool!! thanks
Move to the first floor!
woon ko you could try to do it outside?
Very, very helpful. Figure skating competitions are starting up soon and I need to step up my game, thanks for this. You are very skilled.
I have been looking for this kind of off ice practice for ages. For sharing them. I sprained my ankle at moment. But I'll be sure to try them out once my foot is healed:) thanks
Great jumping exercises! Helpful inspiration for off-ice while rinks are closed for coronavirus
Joe H same
I was just looking around at edea spinner videos when i found this! Seriously helped me with my landings off ice. Thank you
Thank you soooo much!!! I practice mostly off ice bc it's cheaper that way😅
very helpful video! if you can have the jumps in slow motion that would be even better! Thank You!
Thank you! It wasn't meant to be technical though, but rather just to give ideas what rotation exercises you can train in off ice
You can always just turn the video speed down.
Just go to video settings, go to speed, then select 0.25. :) That's what I did.
mimsicle where?! how?! does this setting no longer exist? T_T
@@7Flashmaster Hopefully you figured it out but at the bottom of the video is the little gear icon. Click it then go to playback speed.
me whose never figure skated before but plans to taking notes
I feel dizzy even looking at this lmao
You helped me as a figure skater a ton. so, thanks yo.
the hip twist looks funny to me. great skills here.
meanwhile, i struggle to land a simple 1/4 hop without flailing
Haha! My cookie. meanwhile, i'm not even a skater, idk what i'm doing here😂😂😂
haha same lol! i want to become one though
Brianna Ivan its never too late to start
I’ve been skating for 8 years I’m 14 now and I haven’t even gotten my axel yet. But I won’t give up that’s for sure.
@@keji3414 I've been skating for 7 years (14 now) and I used to have a double toe. But then middle school came and I forgot how to get double rotation haha;)
This dude is doing double rotation jumps from a standing position like they're nothing.
Very helpful video, thank you!
Hi! We love your exercices. Do you think that this video, combined with your stretching, power and core videos are enough to maintain an athletes ability during this quarantined period? Thank you!!
absolutely, it's what I am doing with my athletes right now as well! Some of it is a little updated, but most of it remained the same, and has been the same since I skated 20 years ago. :) Good luck and stay safe!
OMG THANK YOU THIS HELPED SO MUCH!!! best one i've seen
Dude that's so good!
Very good off ice training!
love the music choice.....great great work by the way
So... I practice karate, but this has given me good exercises that I can adapt, thank you so much!
I'm just binge watching skating videos because I have competitions in 4 weeks lol
kiwi kiki heh I have one next week
I hope all went well for both of you! Best of luck
Thanks I got 1 st and 2 ef
i wish i could be this good off ice, holy crap.
Absolutely great and helpful!
Thank you so much.... It's such an amazing video and progresses one step at a time.
I can jump a single loop but not yet a double loop. Could you please suggest how to progress from a single to a double loop?
Profe Dios lo bendiga siempre Jehová.
Amazing and impressive form
Get's crazy around 2:15!!! awesome!
Muchas grasias profesor .
É esse treino que a pessoa faz quando começa aula de patinação??
Its a great video and I have done many of the exercises! Sadly I recently hurt my ankle doing a practice axel. Normally I land them just fine but something happened, I hesitated and landed to the side and it appears I got a nice sprain. I wonder if there are any recommendations as to the type of shoes to wear.
Is your ankle okay now ? I hope it is fully healed
Such beautiful jumps
a truly enlightening video .. thanhs !!
I'm working on my axel. I hope this helps me. (1 1/2 rotations)
those landing exercises are exactly what i need 😀😀😄
thank youuuu
This is going to help my skating skills heaps
Can someone tell me why,/the benefits of doing it the other way. If I don’t know why, I typically will blow it off, I can see how it could create balance, and help with wanting to rotate the other way during footwork, but what about muscle memory and rotating the right way to land your jumps?
OMG I'm immediately starting this! Thank you so much!
When I was young I could easily do double jumps, but in my 50s, I barely hit 1 ⅓ rotation (of ice).
I'll never get my double jumps 😥
meanwhile he makes it seem so easy!!
i was STRUGGLING with the double single double 💀💀
I actually went from 2 rotation to 2 and a quarter im so happy
he's so gooddd, while me running out of breath after the first single rotation
Great exercises, thank you!
Thanx! Very useful video! 😊
Desperately trying to get my double axel and triple toeloop consistent and clean.
oh gosh, so many things to practice :"( thanks so much for sharing. this video is aaaaaaaawesome !!!!!
You are amazing!Thank you so much for sharing!
I can almost do 1 1/2 but I cant get more lol!!
I have really bad stamina so these KILLED me
wow awesome job!
My niece wants to learn how to ice skate. I think this is a great video for her. She’s about to turn 11
Author Erica R. Stinson best of luck to her! I hope she learns quickly, remind her not to get discouraged as skating is a hard sport that requires alot of dedication and self patience
Cool
How long did it take you to learn all these jumps? And did you try them on ice first, and simply practice them off-ice, or did you test out/practice the jumps off-ice first before going onto the ice? Thanks!
Also, quick question, did you learn these with a private instructor, or are they self-taught? Thank you so much!
Hoshinawa most use private instructor
This is one of the most useful videos on youtube! Thank you, this is great!! I struggle with leaning to one side once I jump and then falling over to that side when I land. How can this be fixed?
I loved the video its so usefull, could you do one were you give tips to jave the right position of our legs while you are on the air?
Thank You so so much!
incredible height!
That was awesome - thanks!
Thanks I’m so colse to getting my axel and double sowcow ty for da help
Silly me…. Just learned to do the jumps on ice, and did them.

My knees and hips felt this lmao
Why did you stop uploading? bring this channel back
This looks animated but I love the exercises
Thank you soo much now I can hit a double axel
My kinda rehab! l.o.l.💕
Very helpful I have a competition soon and need to attempt a fully rotated axel any tips ? And any tips for off ice 1 1/2 rotation?
Wow, what a good video. Thanks so much for that.
Imagine that with ice...
Nice
This helped me a lot, ty!
Who is him? Any video of him in a competition or something?
Sub already. Hope you will bring in good contents again. Excited to check out your other videos:)
These seem like a great set of exercises but is there a similar video that takes you through them step by step and which a beginner can follow?
Start with the simple stuff, the two foot jumps, thrones started out on one foot, but with minimal rotation. Do not go up onto higher levels, before you don't feel certain of what you doing. Be observant, download it if you can, and play it in slow motion, observing core, shoulders and arms, hip and legs. Record yourself and analyze and compare :) Again everything with minimum rotation. you can also do walk-throughs: meaning you don't jump, you execute a movement in slow motion until you understand what you need to be doing. Oh and last but not least... most skater learn all these with instructors, they print-out the mistakes, they walk you through it. They make sure you don't learn false movements that you have a hard time correcting later. So I do recommend a coach. Good luck!
I can feel my butt cramping just by watching this video. 😭 no wonder figure skaters got amazing cabooses 😜 anyway amazing video by the way! I got new insight of how figure skaters train!
tell me your a figure skater without telling me: me walkibg into class like at 0:11
