Well I'll tell you (I'm ice skater) and actually these jumps are not only made in the ice, the first thing you have to learn to do on the floor and then try on the ice are like gymnasts and no offense but your comment was so stupid that you wanted to hit (no offense lol)
April Barcega as with any training you're trained to do that and when you do fall you get right back up and you do it again until you don't fall, that's basically it

Oh yeah. Every moment is worth it. I don't even go that much but I go Friday-Sunday. I spend about 4 hours there Friday, Saturday I have lessons with my coach and wake up at 6 and lessons are around 7. Then I spend 9 hours there at least without my coach practicing and then I come back Sunday for another 5-6 hours. However I am so dedicated to skating that I don't mind at all. You don't get high up if you aren't willing to spend all your free time there. I no longer spend times going to my friends or watching movies. I am just always super busy with skating but it is completely worth it. It is a lot harder then it looks, only reason it looks easy because we skaters are meant for it to look easy and graceful. ❤️💯

Why dose everyone looks so miserable in this? Mean yeah this is a lot of training and a lot of physical activity and trying to get everything perfect I get that but dammit people need to smile more
minnymoon1360 It may be different for them but Ik when I'd warm up I would always be visualizing my program and concentrate. They don't warm up for continuous hours so when competing they use what time they have.
You clearly don’t figure skate a figure skating warm up is stretching and going through the routine or parts of the routine before it’s preformed on ice.

It was a double. The axel in itself requires an extra 1/2 rotation so it looks like she did 3 when she did 2 1/2.
