You are one of the best figure skating coaches. Your instruction videos are easy to understand and follow. I will try this today as a beginner who is still practicing two feet spin.
Beautiful ❤ See this in September. I've tried to do the tree turn calmly but the problem is not to get the toe pick when I reach the jumping part. This is very, very helpful 🙂
Wonderful video and footage. I am currently going "back to basics" with my Salchow to improve my technique, and my coach wants me to change to a c-step entry, so I'm trying to figure that out 😅 Thank you the explanation of how different skaters touch the ice with their free foot. I lived in some confusion about this in years 😂 having been tought the old school version.
Thank you. I’ve seen different entries and leg positions but have always struggled to break it down and identify what I’m seeing so that I can incorporate it into my own skating 😂 ❤❤
Why do some people do salchows with their knees more closed - like in this video , while others do it with their knees wayyyyy more open? Is there different schools of technique ? I prefer this version so much more elegant.
Just wrong! Salchov is actually only half rotation in the air. Like a walz jump. You started your take off a quarter ealier. It will create problem even with 2S. You will jump "around a corner", it will be never a stable jump.
I hope You will cover all the jumps from the easiest to the hardest. 😊
That's the plan!❤️❤️❤️

Awesome and thank you so much 💕💕
Perfect timing! I've been working on my salchow for a few months now, so excited to learn some new tips!

If you’re trying to do a half turn before you jump you will struggle. Her pivot is correct
