In this video, I kick off the fall/winter hunting season after an incredibly large and desperately needed rain storm. Though, this hunt wasn't a banner day, the high water levels have thoroughly blown out the gravel bars and, as the water levels decrease, I suspect it will have popped out some great finds for the remainder of the year. Here's praying and hoping!

Looks similar to a little tag that is left on a piece to catch with a hit intended for fluting.my guess, and if you research it, I am curious....
very interesting, I appreciate the feedback on that! A few people have suggested various theories in the comments. Personally, I still don't know - I'm too much of a novice but most of the proposals put forward (yours included) seem to make sense! Thanks again

Does using a zippo affect the taste at all?
@@eastcoastlithics You can taste it as your lighting it but it goes away immediately as you take the flame away. Not everyone's cup of tea, I get it. But it doesn't personally bother me. Plus, I match light the pipe on the initial lighting. After you learn to smoke a pipe you can keep it lit for quite some time without re-lighting. So, I don't often have to taste that momentary lighter fluid taste very often during a smoke. I have different pipe lighters but I prefer the old fashioned zippo just because... well, I think they are a cool little gadget. Haha!
I remember that agate basin. I think about it at the most random times too. In line for checkout at the grocery store? POW M&MS agate basin 💥👊🏻 I recently picked up a geetar at a yardsale with an amp for 50 bucks and learned back hole sun haha.

Hey Ben! Thanks so much for the feedback on the pottery. I am even less educated on pottery than I am on points. I have heard some of the old timers around here say that a lot of our pottery tends to be Caddo so that backs up your hunch. Glad you enjoyed those credits! I had a blast making them, lol
I love a good decorated pottery shard! We find a good many here, but rarely that nice.
