Sweet finds! And yes I to have fallen victim to the old 🦆💩 disguised as flint. The round rock could be a game ball🤔 people say they find them here were I live. Good video great finds! Happy hunting.
I must confess, I have fallen victim to the goose poop fossils more than just this once, haha! Thanks so much for watching and for the feedback, Norma! I apologize for the very late reply!
Hey Bud I know you like the ceramic, I found my nicest sherd ever a few hours ago, big ole sherd with some beautiful designs, found a hematite point too, it’s broke unfortunately but I’ve never seen a point made from hematite, I’m trying to edit a video together but I’m having phone issues, maybe I can get it together by tomorrow, hope all is well Bud, God Bless!!👊🏹
Thanks Chief! I sure hope so. Hope you, me and everyone have a killer year. Dude, congrats again on the success of your channel. I've been checking in and you're killin it brotha! Keep up the good work!
@meandmyshadow6269 thank you bro! Those flea market videos really shot off, I can't believe it! Never be afraid to try something new 👌. Best of luck on the future hunt 🔥
Nice little point Aaron! I’ve flipped out a lot of stuff thinking it was just a flake so it happens all the time. That last spot you hunted you found the hardpan. That’s the pay layer! If you could just Kayak it up and down the river and find more spots like that you’d be amazed at what you would find. I had banks that were hardpan last year that I considered a good spot and this year it’s all covered over with mud. Sometimes the hardpan moves from place to place we just have to follow it from year to year. Take some binoculars head up the middle and look for it on both sides. Of course your still looking for the classic flat spots above the flood plane but those places like that is where I slow down and really Rake them in! Enjoyed the video and I have no clue on the piece at the beginning 👍👍👍
Very good advice! I appreciate that very much. I actually have a little monocular that I take with me in my vest. It does come in handy but it's kind of crappy and doesn't work very well. Truth be told, it's actually for golfers and I bought it for two bucks at a garage sale. Been thinking about buying a quality one from Bass Pro so I can really scope things out when I'm on the water.
Nice finds! The fossils are always fun, and that's a solid point. I got blanked on artifacts Saturday, but found a really nice bird point last Monday (that's in my newest episode). Keep on hunting!
Glad you at least got a nice birdie recently. It's been kind of slow for me in general lately too. Maybe we'll both have one of "those days" soon. Good luck out there, my friend and thanks for stopping by. Always appreciate it!
That would be really cool. There's a lot of clay out there so you'd think that they certainly would have done all sorts of stuff with it besides pottery. I'm sure they probably did
Awww yeahh 👌🏼 Liking the looks of this new segment! Ive never seen a beaver in the wild before, we have hella otters in PA though. Nice point at the end too 🗣️
Glad you enjoyed! I have plans on how to develop it more and where I want to take it eventually. I have only seen otters at the zoo. They are pretty funny characters, those otters. The beavers never cease to startle me when they torpedo me from the banks. It doesn't happen very often and I'm never expecting it. In fact, in this video, when the beaver hits the water you can see my hand jump when I'm pointing. That wasn't me trying to refocus my pointer finger - it was me getting startled, lol.
Alan, that's very generous of you and I thank you very much for that. If I ever make my way over there, I may just take you up on that. I'd be a fool not to get a kayak from the great Alan Spring! Thank you, Alan. Full disclosure: I haven't been to Florida since I was a toddler. I would love to visit again some day. I feel like Florida and Oklahoma have a lot in common when it comes to the people. Except you guys have WAY better seafood, lol
Yay, thank you! I have plans on developing that segment a little more too and refining some things/trying different formats. Looking forward to doing more of them
GREAT video Aaron !!!! Time does fly by when you're having fun. No opinion from me on your round find. It's something one would have to hold and study to give an opinion for me. Glad to see you're having fun brother. I was only a couple hours late but I still joined the fun. Be safe out there and remind them land torpedo's that we used to make hats out of them. LOL Many blessings my friend.
Yes, it seems like lately time is going by especially fast. I think it's because I've been so busy that when I get to go hunt it just slips through my fingers. I didn't get to really show that ball in great detail and in the future I plan to offer the viewer a more detailed look at stuff like that in the new segment. That little find just offered me a good opportunity to introduce the new segment so I took it while I was thinking about it. I have a lot of plans for how to further develop the new segment. I think you'll all enjoy. I wish I had a beaver hat I could wear on my hunts to ward the beavers off, haha
Nice point Aaron, congrats, that first stone is actually a fossilized caveman testicle, I use to put them in my slingshot and shoot them at beavers, you ever had a beaver come up on you at night and slap their tails at you, they frighten the heck out of me a few times doing that, bout flipped my kayak a few times lol, great Video Bud, Thanks For Sharing, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
The caveman testicle comment legitimately made me laugh out loud, hahahaha! Got me good with that one. Thanks for the chuckle! Fortunately, I haven't had any of them slap their tails on the water at me. If that happened at night, I'd probably pass away from fright, haha
Hey Sharon! It says, "Don't Tread On Me" and has a little snake coiled up next to the words. It's called the Gadsden Flag. In an unofficial way, it's one of America's first and original flags. Some people try to make it out to be something bad but it's meant to stand as a warning to anyone who might try and take our God-given freedoms away. (p.s. my name is Aaron - I think you might have mixed my name up with Aidan from OntarioRockhound. No worries!)
@@sharonrowland1196No apologies necessary, Sharon. I know we all network with so many people on here that it's hard to remember all the names. I'm terrible with names!
Very well could be! Hey, I would love to hear your thoughts on the GoPro11. Especially since we're involved in the same kind of hobby, I'd love to hear your thoughts. I have a 9 and I'm curious what new features the 11 has that might be good for what we do. Thanks for watching Z!
@@meandmyshadow6269 I just used the go pro today. I have no way to compair 11 to 9 but compaired to my phone 11 actually shoots better I have a 50 mp cam on my phone. VIDEOS ON 2/ 24 are shot with both. 2 go pro. 2 phone videos.

I don't collect gemstones but I would really like to. We don't have quite the same diversity of rocks and minerals in my area that other places do. Every once in a while I'll come across a nice piece of quartz or honey agate and I always love to keep those

A squishy surprise every time!
Now that's a nice point! One of many you will find this year, I'm sure 👌. Best of luck out there ✌️

Liked your wristband in this video, shows you know what's up
Thanks scott! Yup, gotta let the evil people know we're here and we're not going away.
@meandmyshadow6269 that's very true, tried to tell James that, hard to get him to get him to listen to me anymore ,maybe that will change soon.

I think almost artifact. They were working on that ball for a game ball
I think so too! I'm hoping to have a buddy look at it for me soon. He's got decades more experience than me

The stone or clay ball, could possibly be a clay cooking ball.
I'm not sure I've heard of cooking balls before, how were those used?
Didn't get skunked nice little Fairland point.
Yep, o'l Farty the Skunk had to stay home on this one. Thanks for the ID on the point!
Congratulations on all your finds Bro. I 💯% LOVE ARROWHEAD HUNTING!!!!🤣👍💯❤️👋
Thanks Sharon! Hey, you got a new profile picture, I see! Pretty cool!

Looks like a dung ball to me. I used to see big beetles pushing dung balls around. Some sort of beetle game i guess! LOL!
Hahaha! I've only ever seen one of those dung beetles in the wild one time before
It looks like an Adobe marble

So many haters out there will tell you anything that's not Flint is not an artifact.
Yeah I know what you mean in my newst short I found a big piece of worked flint and was just told it's nothing or its rigth material but just a Rock
Yeah, I think they definitely used all manner of materials. It's just that some materials probably preserve better than others
