Thanks, my friend! Yeah, the last one was just a nonsense font I found on my computer and I thought it looked cool. I typed "Thank you for watching" and that's what it came out looking like 😂
Thanks! I was really pleased with that hunt. I was fortunate to have such a beautiful day to hunt AND to score some cool stuff. Thanks for dropping in!
I have been arrowhead hunting since I was 5; I am now almost 75. I also learned how to make flint tools myself. Beautiful point. The knife blade you found at the end that had an extra sharp pointed area with an associated concavity was created purposely to allow for easier cutting of string shaped items, probably of many different types…
Thanks for stopping by, Kevin. Wouldn't be the same without having you and Chad in the comments. Much appreciated. Hope you're doing alright. Take care, sir!
@@SnapScavenge hey, thank you! I checked out your channel and it looks like you do some bottle digging. I subbed you back. Looking forward to checking out your videos, I love old bottles!
Nice finds! I like the last one! I would think the little point on the bottom would have served some kind of purpose. For what I have no idea. But it's very cool.
@@normaferro8054 I also really like the last one! I'm probably going to send it off to a friend to have him examine it. He knows more about this stuff than me
Oh, I hadn't even thought of a corner tang. Yeah, I can see some similarity now that you've mentioned it. That shape is a little reminiscent of some of those tangs. Thanks for the feedback!
I also thought it looked like some type of engraving implement. Some others are suggesting it has to do with hafting. Pretty cool either way you slice it. Thanks for the feedback!

@@meandmyshadow6269thanks buddy. I've kinda lost my will to upload vids since Tater passed away. He's been gone for 18 months now. I'm finally starting to come around. This life is a wild ride. 🤪
@@bigbensarrowheadchannel2739 I'm very sorry for that loss, BigBen. With time and healing, I bet you'll find a renewed inspiration to begin again. Just give yourself whatever time you need and don't force yourself to create until the time feels right. Take care!
Thanks Leland. Any thoughts on that little spur on the base of it? My kneejerk was a graver. Some other people have suggested it might have something to do with hafting.
I think you might be right on the money. The more I looked at it, the more I realized it wasn't quartz. Novaculite looks like a pretty close match. Thanks for the feedback!
Killer Dickson to start with. The last one looks characteristic of a munkers creek blade. As far as the nipple, my guess would be for hating purposes. Always great to see when you have another video pop up. The 'quartz" i would guess to be some kind chert, but I am not versed in those good enough to tell for sure. Pretty rock tho. 🤘🏼
I had never heard of a Munkers Creek. I will look it up! I think you're correct about my "quartz". I think I kind of fooled myself on that one. Someone suggested it might be novaculite chert. They might be onto something

very interesting, I appreciate the feedback on that! A few people have suggested various theories in the comments. Personally, I still don't know - I'm too much of a novice but most of the proposals put forward (yours included) seem to make sense! Thanks again
Your tooth definitely looks like a lower canine from some type of critter. I spent all day cleaning and extracting teeth, so I'm qualified to comment on the topic. 😂
Ohhh yeahhhh! You're the perfect one to ask about the bones and teeth. I probably have been consulting you all along. What a dummy I am! You know your animules a lot better than I ever will! P.s. As a quartz finder that does not appear to be quartz but it is super cool looking stuff! That broken uniface tool looks like part of an adze bit! I found one the other day out of rhyolite. You can look at one end to look for wear patterns. Thats a cool little flint nipple on that blade too. In my opinion it had to have served some function as a hafting notch I geuss. Could also be a lazy guy who didn’t feel like sending one extra thinning flake onto her.
Yeah, I think you're right about it not being quartz. My area has so very little quartz. Usually I just see it as small inclusions in other material. This stuff just looked different at first but I think it's actually a chert now that I've studied it a little more. A couple other people also suggested that little nipple was some hafting work. Sounds good to me. Thanks for the feedback, ECL!

I would be over the moon if it's a bear tooth. We don't have them in the area anymore but people do find ancient cave bear remains out here sometimes
