    I want to install a different bow mount to run my Autoboat GPS system. How did you visualize the bolts on the install of your mounting plate? It seems like the deck plate is a bit far back and not in line of sight to install the bolts. Did you do it by feel? I’m nervous about that… thanks for the video, subscribed!

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors 9 дней назад

      All you can do is measure the inside of the hull from where u install the deck plate to the very front of the bow. Then you can get the measurement on top of the bow the biggest thing don’t get to close to the very front of the bow, make sure you have room to get bolts through and the washer and nuts on. Just get close as you can it doesn’t have to be perfect.

    Can you elaborate on your like and dislikes between the Outlaw 11.5 and the SS127. I have narrowed it down to those two Kayaks. Thank you.

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors 9 дней назад

      The difference is night and day being honest. I absolutely love my outlaw, but the dislikes was no storage unless I added it harder to add my Motorguide xi3 bow mount trolling motor and it was only 11’ 5” long. The SS127 has plenty of storage much easier to rig easier to mount a bow mount trolling motor it’s 12’ 7” long. Now likes both are super stable, both look incredible when rigged out. The perception is cheaper and is a really great kayak, but the ss127 is a lot better kayak in my opinion.

    Excellent job on the review, just subscribed today and I'm interested in the Asend 133X, very affordable and available locally. I do wish it had a peddle drive like the Native Kayak, It would be much better than the storage box in the middle of the kayak. It also does not have a rudder which I prefer, it seems as though it is best off with dual trolling motors. Aside from that, I like it! I'm also considering the Milha Lite Skiff 13 foot which canbe fitted with an outboard motor up to 15 hp. Thanks again for the excellent review!

The Oldtown does have a storage hatch where the pescador doesn’t have one. Now when it comes to stability the old town is a tad better in my opinion so I would say it’s gonna come down to the style, look and length that you want. Yea it does make a lot of difference having it setup this way. It’s not all that hard to get it setup just takes sometime and yes a little patience. I appreciate you watching and sending your feedback. Thanks

    This is an excellent video. Thanks. I made a video on choosing a deep cycle marine battery for a trolling motor, and I noticed that you have a starter marine battery for this. Do you normally use that for your trolling motor, or were you just using that for this video?

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors 2 месяца назад

      Thank you. I was only using that for the purpose of this video. I use a 50ah ZPRO lithium battery for my trolling motor battery.

      @@334tacticaloutdoors I figured. When I originally bought my trolling motor, I just added it to my Mercury starter battery--learned not to do that and felt like a dope.

    Why would you describe two PWMs that are still in the packages?

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors 2 месяца назад

      I didn’t describe them I only said the amps. The one that I hooked up was the 60amp the 100amp has a built in fan. When u buy a PWM you buy it by the amps not by what it looks like.

    Ok mine isn't labeled the same as yours. It just says "B+ M M B-". In that order. I'm assuming that is battery plus, motor plus, motor negative, battery negative.

      Question. I went out twice. Worked great. I went out Sunday and I had no power. My battery is charged. Is there a fuse in the box somewhere?

    • @334tacticaloutdoors

      @sjkeener no there’s no fuse. You may have a loose connection, you may also wanna look and make sure no water go on that PWM.

      In most states yes you have to register your kayak once you add a trolling motor. Just check your state laws.

      You would just wire the kill switch in with the PWM power and negative on the forward and reverse switch.
