    Best kayak review I have seen on RUclips hands down I just purchased a Nucanoe F10 I hope it’s a half the kayak this one is its my first experience with one had it in the water three time so far waiting for the Missouri weather to warm up a little bit its been fun so far

    I have a 106 & 120 and they are the most stable kayaks I’ve ever been on! I’ve went down rapids backwards standing up and never felt unsafe.

      Yes it is stable I have this 106 and the Perception Outlaw both of these are incredible for standing and fishing.

      Is there a major difference as far as stability between the 106 and 120? I'm looking to get one or the other. The 106 would be much easier for me to transport, but I'm 6'2 about 245 and I also want to be able to stand and fish so I want the most stable option. Thanks

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors  Год назад +2

      Stability wise there’s no difference for your size I would suggest the 120. It has a lot more room and can handle more weight. If you’re not wanting to take a lot of gear the 106 would be just fine.

    • @jefffrey5794
      @jefffrey5794 Год назад +2

      @@devindpotts I can stand up on either of them easy. The 106 is slightly more stable being a inch wider but the 120 is more spacious. Both are incredibly stable in my opinion but you can feel a slight difference if you have both of them on the water. I’ve had a lot of weight 300+ on each one with no issues. Pick whichever one suits your needs space wise, me and friends have floated with a kid between our legs, in the back or sitting up front on each kayak so they both have room, just how much room do you need? Sit in both of them before you buy them and invest in a nice cart for either one you choose. Hard to say which one I prefer better. I can spin around faster in the 106 but I do like the extra space in the 120.

      @@devindpotts if I could go back and do it again I would have got a PDL version. I didn’t want to get it because of all the shallow river fishing I do but I regret not having the option to put pedals on if I took it elsewhere.

      Thank you, Stability there both about the same. The 106 does come with storage, it’s easier to paddle and has a better seat. Overall it really comes down to looks and how your wanting to modify.

There’s days I’d like to hit small bodies of water and don’t want to take the boat. So it wouldn’t be my primary source for fishing. Any tips or suggestions? Thanks!

      A kayak already has great stability as long as you’re buying the right fishing kayak. But most of us get a kayak to fish the areas boats can’t go. Like I said some people add the outriggers but, myself I have no desire or reason to add them.

    Can you please help me to know what will be better in Pescador vs 106 ?

    • @334tacticaloutdoors
      @334tacticaloutdoors  2 месяца назад +1

      Oh goodness this is a tough one. I will start off by saying the Oldtown is 10’ 6” long and the pescador pro is 12’ long so it’s a little longer. The Oldtown does have a storage hatch where the pescador doesn’t have one. Now when it comes to stability the old town is a tad better in my opinion so I would say it’s gonna come down to the style, look and length that you want. Either kayak will be a great kayak to buy and you want regret it. I hope this helps, but these 2 are hard to choose from.
