@3:30 those comparison shots are taken from different positions and on different days. How can you compare? Light is in completely different positions

It really drive me crazy when you don't lock the 2 images position in Lr when comparing 2 image in 100% zoom . u know what i mean, you do not have to move the image by click and drag everytime, there is a button like a lock down there in LR!

As a prime shooter I love this lens because it covers my favorite focal lengths (24,35, & 50), it has f2.8, and is smaller and lighter than the 35mm GM.

The free Mac version of Resolve supports 10bit 422 H.264 and H.265, but not Windows version. For Windows you need to transcode first, sadly.

One thing that bothers me about the Tamron is the esposed USB-Port on the outside. If I get a weather sealed lense I want to be able to shot in slightly rainy and snowy conditions.- This kinda ruins it for me.

I wish they made a new version... It could be a tad bigger (current RX100 is maybe too small), with one more dial. It should have USB-C. It should be weathersealed (this is the biggest drawback if this otherwise perfect travellers' camera). It should also have some more computational photography features (such as Olympus/OM System adds to their cameras). And it should also have a better IBIS. Oh and they could add two auto ISO modes, such as Fuji has. Then it would be the greatest cameras of all times!

Love your option 1! Ha ha ha...by the way, how do you hold your Osmo Pocket when you shoot video? Do you hold it like a stick upright with the camera pointing forward or will you hold it horizontally with the body flat and camera pointing straight? I find a bit of a tilt foward works best for comfort and versatile shooting - your thoughts? Perhaps you could do a video on this.

You are one point. I like how you present the comparisons in real-world scenarios, and you had me cracking up! I should have hit the subscribe earlier. I'm still undecided between the Sony G 24-50mm 2.8 vs. the Tamron 28-75 G2 lens for Sony and the Tamron 28-200mm. I prize good glass, and I have shot primes ranging from 20mm to 85 mm for most of my life. In the last 5 years, I have gotten into zooms, and I'm torn on what to get next between the 3 aforementioned lenses. I had the Sigma art lens for Sony 24-70mm; however, despite getting a great file to work with, I wasn't fond of its weight and color rendition. I know there is no perfect caveat, much like camera bags. I would love to see a future video that you could disseminate, or if you have time, I'd appreciate your opinion. For context, I am an architectural and interior photographer focusing on hotels, restaurants, lifestyle, and hospitality. I enjoy a lightweight, IQ-quality lens with some pleasing bokeh that I will use while traveling and for tighter shots.

For a compact camera like the a7c, a compact lens is a no-brainer.

This lens is a perfect companion for the 35GM. The 16-35GM never interested me because I like my 35GM too much.

thanks for the live test review. im shooting streetfood video. the max time in one clip 4k 60p is around 6 minutes. but most of the clip i will control it in 2minutes stop recording then hit start recording if the cooking process continues. so i wonder in this condition will lead to overheat or not. im in malaysia 33c to 36c in kitchen. outdoor streetfood mayb 37c.

As I shoot 99% outside, I went for the 28-200. For low light I use 28 (at 2.8), for the rest, I have it at 5.6 for most situations. And for landscape, it’s f/8 or f/11, as I want deep dof.

I got the Tamron and let my iPhone take care of the wide angle.

I think the ND filter is key for this

That's a clever combo mic/tripod setup. Are you still using this for travel? I went strictly phone photos, but I rarely pull my phone out. Something small would be nice. Really enjoy using buttons and sdcard. The new cameras are freaking large. It's larger than my old dslr rebel.
