I switched to third party batteries with integrated USB C ports. If I need to charge on the go, I use a portable charge with two ports and just plug the batteries into it. I’ve had really good luck with the Neewar batteries.
I used the nitecores for a while until the firmware updates, then back to oem, I cant handle the nags. Really nice before sony started those shenanigans
I've actually been looking for something like this! I hate not knowing how much juice is left. This fixes that problem AND is a great storage solution for your camera bag. Ordered thru your affiliate link to make you stinkin' rich!
Thanks for your input, had no idea about this company, the item was surprisingly good quality. I imagine them staying away from batteries due to the nag message.
I noticed that it has 2 contacts. The original Sony charger has 3 contacts, because the NP-FZ100 battery has 2 cells. And each cell must be charged individually, depending on how discharged it is. It turns out that this charger will unbalance the battery cells, which will significantly reduce the service life, as well as the correct display of the charge level?
Hey great video Charlie! Question - what camera and lens combo are you using for the talking head shot? Looks so well lit and love the bokeh behind you.
You can buy a version that includes 2x Llano batteries but I’m not sure how much extra it cost. You can also purchase it with 20,000 mAH PD batter bank which is the version I bought because owned plenty of batteries. I needed another charger so I thought I would give this a try. Also own other chargers like the Jupio Tri-battery charger but it cost twice as much. At home I use ISDT NP2 and NP2 Air dual chargers and bought the ISDT 200H 200W hip that can support 4 PD ports and a a MagSafe surface for my iPhone but those sit on my desk for use when I’m home. This charger will go into my travel camera bag. By the way, what’s with the bathrobe? Can’t get dressed to make your video? Take care.
Have you compared the Llano charger to the ISDT NP2? Judging form the specs the NP2 is faster? Any other observations welcome. I've owned the NP2 and NP2Air and Nitecore USN4 Pro. Of them all I prefer the NP2.
sorry, havent tried, but have used a similar product, the neewer light brown version, and it works fine, not quite the amount of capacity, but it's convenient as heck with the USB-c charging and chip, meaning no nags.
@@CharlieVN Thank you I am using a mix of Smallrig, Greenextreme Adorama and Sony in my two A9m2 daily, but when you go on dpreview there is so much speculation you don't get finished reading :) They might be all from the same factory in China ?

@@CharlieVN I’m still on the A7R IV. No nags. That’s really disappointing to hear on the newer bodies.

😂😂😂😂, it’s very cool, but i have a suspicion that someone is going to come with a version with built in power bank down the line.
is 18w charger not a bit low? or is it 18w with all chargers?
This is one of the best company sell Sony thirdy party battery in China. Finally they sell some products here in US now. But still no battery.

How quickly did it recharge your SD card???
😇, I did forget to mention that it does not pass data, help people do not get the wrong idea
I need this, but it would be great if this had power storage. Will they have this version? I will for sure get one. 😁
probably in the future, but you didnt hear it from me......
They have this version in China so will have in the future
I had to return mine. It would not charge Sony batteries, only its own.
does it come with the wall power supply?
No, it is a USB-C device by itself.
