I like the speed of your videos. I can relax and and organize or clean while listening to you. That may sound like a dig, but it is not. Most videos these days make me feel nervous. I feel like I need to watch them, but I can't watch them all. They build up and build up. If I watch one of those videos, once finished, I can't remember what it is I watched or if I feel smarter for having watched them. The two or three videos of yours that I have watched have not made me feel that way. I organizing my papers, throwing things away, and getting things done.
I see most youtubers tip toeing aroub overheating issues, as if its not a Major thong to consider. I like your straigh honest approach. Nunbers would have been helpfull. Also almost nobody post tests outdoor, in the summer. As if filming is an indoor thing only
thanks for the live test review. im shooting streetfood video. the max time in one clip 4k 60p is around 6 minutes. but most of the clip i will control it in 2minutes stop recording then hit start recording if the cooking process continues. so i wonder in this condition will lead to overheat or not. im in malaysia 33c to 36c in kitchen. outdoor streetfood mayb 37c.
I have the a6700 and it does not overheat at 4k 24 10bit but I have only had it running for 2 hours max. It has been a while since I tested it. The big deal would be not to leave your black camera in direct sun light on a hot day. Shade it. I get about 10-15 minutes at 4k 120 10bit 4.2.2 but if I was doing a lot of that I would just buy an FX-30 because that is what it is made for. For me the a6700 is a great run and gun camera where I can shoot video one second and which to photo, slow mo or fast mo in a second do some snaps and switch back. I shot snow falling at 1080p 240fps and it looked like I was in a snow global. I think you can do some pro stuff with this camera but it is just a fun camera to get you started and get your skills up. Even the FX30 is not running the new advanced chip set, I think the new chips run a lot hotter. So far the a7RV is the only camera that can handle them and maybe the a7cII and A7cr.
We have very humid summers where I am. This weekend it was 95 degrees with high humidity. My A7Cii overheated in a little over 4min. I was shooting in 4k 30p using a dummy battery and the screen flipped out. I'm investing in this fan 🤣
hahah this is the best video ever. Can't figure out if this overheating thing is fun or not. I keep going back and forth if Im keeping this or a7c ii. 1st world problems killing me.
Just open your camera LCD display put a magnetic iPhone cooler on it. No more overheating. It normally doesn't overheat anyways unless you in really hot temperatures or shooting 120/4k
glad to see you on regular bases again. i live in houston it gets to over 40 degrees in july aug easily. can you do maybe small 1-2 min recordings on 4k 120 fps in that heat for B roll on zve1?
My entire Talking head video was filmed in 4K 120 on accident, so it could do more than one or two minute videos. If you do a lot of broll in a consistent manner, I do expect it to overheat within about an hour.
I still remember That One Camera guy venting about the A9 overheating. If this gear needs that much attention, ditch it and get a camcorder. Screwed that. Put that fan on and then you will hear it in your footage. Sony should be ashamed and embarrassed by this bs.
It’s possible but probably not? Onboard mic is a maybe, dynamic mic is a no, wireless mic also a no. Most of the time, i go without the fan as the camera doesn’t really overheat with day to day activities. I’ve done a few talking head videos with it since and the noise is not detectable.

So man, what you did ? You are keeping A7ClI or something different you got ?
a7c ii overheats on 4k24?
@@theendurance not really, 4k60 yes after a while. It’s pretty solid overall.
A7cii is very solid
@@IRFAN-po5sz Went ZVE1 - really happy with it
What if i just do photography will it still overheat. Summer temperatures are 43-44°C peak here

Hi. Do you know this through actual experience? Have you actually tried it yourself? Thanks

it is kinda sad, even 1080, lol, that should be the safe zone

Cant you hear the fan in the recordings?
