"I Am Australian" (or "We Are Australian") is a popular Australian song written in 1987 by Bruce Woodley of the Seekers and Dobe Newton of the Bushwhackers. Bruce Woodley was the lead singer here. The Seekers had pop hits in the 1960's. They broke up and then got back together. Judith Durham had already been fighting illness by this time and this is their final performance together. So, on a whole bunch of levels, this is as emotional as it gets.
