Aussie actors … Russel Crowe (Gladiator & A beautiful Mind), Sam Worthington (Avitar), Mel Gibson (Lethal weapon & Mad Max), Geoffrey Rush, Guy Pearce (LA confidential), Heath Ledger (The Joker), Eric Bana (The Hulk), Isla Fisher, Naomi Watts, Rebel Wilson, Jack Thompson, Toni Collette, Jacki Weaver … and many more😊

😮Crowe used an Aussie accent when he won an Oscar for playing the Hispanic general Maximus in Gladiator. Mel Gibson, umpires call, was born in New York and arrived here when 12. Geoffrey Rush won an Academy award for playing an Aussie in an Aussie film Shine, he also played the Australian speech pathologist to the king in the British film The Kings Speech! Guy Pearce was a star in Neighbours, ffs the girl who made the list is English, and does Rebel Wilson do accents? I don’t think so but … Jacki Weaver, as far as I know, didn’t have an international career. She was nominated for many international awards, and she won some of them for her role in Animal Kingdom, an Aussie film about criminal underworld Australia.
Russell Crowe isn't Australian but wants to be an Australian, Mel Gibson isn't Australian and classifies himself as American and Irish.
Cate Blanchett went to the same school as me, but a few years later!! Hugh Jackmans wife also went there for a year or 2!
Us Aussies are good at doing other accents but other countries can't do ours. 😜
