This is my reaction to watching the 50 OUTRAGEOUS Wild Animal Moments From AUSTRALIA video for the very first time.
There are two kinds of crocodile in australia, Freshwater ("freshies") crocs who only live in fresh water rivers, and Saltwater ("salties") who can live in both freshwater rivers and coastal waters.
Salties are the ones that get HUGE, talking 20 feet long.
Welcome to Australia! 🫂 Just remember these animals are not toys or photo ops or pets, respect their territory especially at breeding time! And keep your dogs tied! 😉👍
And cats inside at night!
It's not typical everyday life in Oz but it does happen sometimes in the outer suburbs & more often in rural areas.
Btw if you hear the term drop bear we mean a koala.
Idiots fall out of trees all the time.
Side effect of them being drunk from all the eucalyptus leaves
People don't seem to realise that saltwater crocodiles live in the ocean as well as rivers, especially when they get big
I live about 4kms from Sydney city centre and regularly see Kookaburras, rainbow lorikeets, and brush turkeys. Kangaroos sometimes find themselves in outer suburban areas if there is bush land nearby.
In tweed heads and see the same thing
Yeah... that sounds about right
Salt water crocodiles in Australia up the top of the state of Queensland and in northern Territory crocodiles are not just in rivers lake's but have known to go out to sea near the beaches
Yess brushed up by thorny devil
The comments of "Australia is expensive" I think, can be deceiving. If you eat at the touristy places, the prices are jacked up. I am always shocked at the Sydney prices. However if you get out into the regional areas you will see normal prices. There are a number of videos about demonstrating this, for example Kaitlyn Amanda's channel where she compared "the average cost of groceries in Australia vs America" (taking into account the exchange rate. two months ago. Worth checking it out.
Most marsupials are pretty docile unless its breeding season or they are cornered
He kangaroo being rescued wasnt from a river it was at the edge of a lake in centre of Canberra Australias capital. ITt would probably have been ok because kangaroos can swim. The other kangaroo in the water was trying to drown the dog. They fake being hurt in the water to entice the dog to attack further then when close enough will hold it under water. People mistake kangaroos and koalas for being harmles cos theyre cute and fluffy. And they are but if they get annoyed by clueless tourists then theyll retaliate. And they can injure you. You wont see them in the inner city but its not unusual to see them in outer suburbs or small towns and in the country. You'll only see crocodiles up in the very north of Australia.and those particular lizards are found further inland where its much hotter and drier. The guy on his back "cycling" was attracting the attention of the emus which are very curious.
Magpies are the only Australian animal that us Australian's are actually scared of.
Honestly unless you antagonise any of these animals. Most of them will just leave you alone if you leave them alone.
The way that bloke chuckles at the frilledneck is so damn wholesome
Dingo is a wild dog .. NOT native, appears to be introduced about 5000 years back :) can be quite dangerous
Although they were introduced they ARE considered native due to them evolving to adapt to Australia, being here well before europeans, being a massive part of the ecosystem and existing nowhere else in the world naturally.
@@aaronf1078 well .. I dont rekon em native :) they aint marsupials are they :) theyre like the cats or toads .. just older :)
@@aaronf1078 radical opinion :) lets do a virus for the dogs .. and the cats .. and the brumbies .. and the foxes .. and FFS SAKE .. something that WILL kill all the rabbits :) .. and the toads :) the CAMELS however .. they dont appear to disturb anything else, they dont even destroy all the plants like the brumbies, being soft of foot :) .. they can stay :) And they are probably better than horses in the same role too :)
Koalas are friendly but if you annoy them or feel like a threat they will attack
1:44 that wasn't a koala mate, that was clearly A DROP BEAR !!!
Notice the tension in their voice, They didn't want to startle him and end up dead
I just Googled "drop bear", I think you're right 😨☠️
@@tatosphere

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA LMAO ROFL
so.. that's where the rumours come from ?
a wild animal is a wild animal is a wild animal.
Salt water crocs
Rare species drop bear koala🐨🦥🩸🪦
All animals can be dangerous. Your cat can get angry and scratch you and so can koalas.
we have grown so fast and denuded so much of the habitat of these rare mono trenes Echidnas and the platypus , both have barb's on their rear legs , spike, like a stingray cant remember; if its the male or female but don't handle , what your unfamiliar with over 90 % snake bites , they are being attacked by a terrified human , just don't go near them in mating season, they will attack, and baby snakes carry the most potent load of poison , they dry bite a lot , but will inject venom , but they only on the road coz they are running out of a place 1000s of rarest birdes ,and small marsupials, mammals, it's bloody criminal , people will do anything for money , and say it's a shame , Cheers RARARA
There’s twice as many kangaroos as people lol
I like how many people in this clip think it's funny to get kicked at by a Kangaroo. I got into a minor squabble with an 8 foot male Eastern Grey when I was about 14. I still have the scars, and it took 367 stitches, 180 internal, 187 to close the massive tear in my stomach and chest and put my lower intestines back inside where they should be and sow me back up. If you think they are cuddly furry toys, think again. I'd rather have sex with lava than live through that again.....
But the MOST DANGEROUS animal anywhere in Australia is an 18 year old male looking for a root........................
That’s why we hate foreigners because they disturb our wildlife, and some people are just stupid..
People are not meant to own any wildlife as pets but we have a lot of wildlife carers in our country due to all the fires and floods.
Normally the wildlife is bought back to health and released back into the wild.
Koalas live alone unless it’s breeding season. So if there’s two they’ll be dangerous
You aren't legally allowed to buy a Kangaroo as a pet but if you hit a female in your car it will have a joey in its pouch and in most states of Australia you can't release a kangaroo raised in captivity back into the wild legally
We are not supposed to own any native wildlife, without a permit, however, people adopt orphaned animals and keep them as pets.
Them kangaroos are massive I would won't to meet one of them down an alley! We only have feral wallabies in UK I wouldn't of believed until my dog got in to a scrap with one and there hard af, made a good old mess of my dog
Most of them video's are taken on farms or the outskirts of a country town or just new area's of new house being built around new estates or even small hobby farms or the bush you very rarely see them in built up area's more in the countryside just a standard rule if you leave them alone they will leave you alone but most of them are harmless
not a Porcupine (thats europe) .. its an Echidna :) This is a "monotreme", means it has breasts .. but lays eggs! :) clearly a thing halfway between dinosaurs and mammals .. Platypus is another one
Australia is on top of the list for having animals with the most potent venoms, but Mexico tops the list for the highest number of venomous animal species. Mexico has dangerously venomous lizards, Australia does not. The spiky ball is an echidna, it's a monotreme (lays eggs), which is a type of marsupial (has a pouch), which is a type of mammal (warm blooded, fur, produces milk). Compilations like this does make it look like these things happen every day, but the reality is, they do happen, but rarely. Most people go years between wild animal encounters least of all interesting ones like these.
Yes and no depends where you live.
I mean technically they do happen everyday, it just depends on where you live, literally right now I could walk outside take 10-20 steps and probably find a snake, take 2-5 steps and find a spider or a centipede… wildlife is very common..
@@SoggyToast506 exactly.
It probably sound funny to you .. but I found Mex equally amazing and exotic :) the animals .. the bush .. the muthurfuckin PYRAMIDS!! my second fave country without doubt .. and its ALMOST warm enough! :) almost :) and you have some reasonably good snakes and spiders too :)
I rate this comment. Haha
Me as an Australian most of these are meh except the crocodile one f that shit
Leave the dangerous animals alone and they will leave you alone !
I want to go back to Mexico 🥹 I loved living there!
@14:12 these people I would bet, are not Australians, You won't find a kangaroo on a leash or harness in Australia legally. And the behaviour of these people is medieval, tormenting a kangaroo. Disgraceful stuff.
Australia is very expensive.
Brisbane (AKA "Brizz Vegas") is pretty good but no beaches. Visit the Gold Coast (which is close) for beaches / theme parks and loads of fun.
Night life in Brizzy is pretty good.
Australia is expensive though, so be prepared for that.
Depends where you are as to what animals you see / encounter. You only get Crocs in troipcs, and snakes are hard to spot unless you know what to look for. I rarely see snakes and go bush walking all the time, they are around but they will avoid you more than you avoid them.
Koalas are sweet, but have sharp claws and good grip.
Kangaroos don't like dogs much because of dingo's hunting them. A kangaroo will always try to lure a dingo / dog into the water as they are good swimmers and can easily drown / gut the dog or dingo. Don't mess with a roo, but I did have many kangaroo buddies (who would come up to me and be gentle). It all depends on the energy you bring into the situation. If you freak out they will go for you.
Depends where you live.
Koalas are moody :) sometimes nice, sometimes nasty :) everyone rekons the eucalyptus leaves get em high .. so maybe a bit like crackheads, they are mercurial :) Ive seen some REAL bad tempered ones, especially old ones .. yet others are like housecats super friendly :)
Nar not the norm to see koala's on ground normally breeding time or very hot looking for water 💦 as you see next to pool and the one that went in the house would've been to get out of heat it would live in trees next to the house's they actually sleep most of the time and the one's that looked like attacking are probably trying to climb the person as they'll climb to highest point when scared
Same with kangaroos in city pretty rare but when we have long droughts and very hot there's little water or feed grass for them to eat so will come in for water and eat lawn grass most of this was out in country side or in country towns
You where rite crocodiles are dinosaur's same for lizards you seen the echidna or also known as ant eaters as that's all they eat they have a long snout that they put in ants or termite nests and long tounge which is sticky and the ants stick to them but their out in the bush area's if you look up termites nest they are hughe about land over 6 ft
The main thing to remember is that they are wild animals and unpredictable if something scares them they'll try to protect themselves it automatically happens how they've survived so long
If your going to come across anything it'll be spiders or possibly a snake if come across a snake and it's not in attack mode like video just stand still if it hasn't seen you it'll move away from you or if your far enough away just slowly back up it won't chase you normally unless your close and it feels threatened they'll be the most common thing you might come across in city area's more chance of spiders then anything cheers mate love the site watching a while hope you get here soon to see family 🇦🇺🦘👍
