Hi Simon, I hope you're well. I've just watched and enjoyed your video again. I could watch them all, over and over, no problem. I recently tried a Daystate Wolverine R bottle version in sub twelve. What a beautiful, well engineered, fantastic looking air rifle. The engineering and workings of the cocking lever, just out of this world. What a glorious piece of kit. I'm so glad they're british and built to that standard and tolerance. Best wishes, Ian.

Hey up mate nice shooting and a great vid. One question I notice that you managed to get x 6.1(time on vid 5.23mins) on your magnification. for some reason me and a few others, who have the most unto date firmware added can only get 3.5 then 7 and from there we can get incremental steps. what version are you running? Just wounding if your on an older version? Cheers

Excellent job! Thank you for posting pictures of lambs. People have this weird fascination with crows as intelligent birds never considering their brutal side to other species. Anyone disliking this, google up crow eating chicks or bunnies for some reality check.

When you own a hw100 its dam hard to put it down,i have a fac gun running around 37ft with pellets bit more with slugs,best mod on fac guns is a larger air tube, i have 2 excellent ratworks xl cylinders,get a full evenings shooting with one change,sublime rifles imho

Great shooting, Simon. Not done much garden pest control, although my neighbour has a couple of rats. Lent them my live trap, as she doesn't want me to shoot them. Don't know what they expect to do with a trapped rat. Anyhow, she brought my trap back because they only caught a hedgehog. Probably one of my resident hoggies. Big Steve, E. Yorks.

If only you had a chance at some sort of fish as well, and you could have had a vermin McNab - a Jackdaw, a Rat and a (whatever the fish would be). 😁😁 Great shots on the Jackdaws - head shots at those ranges show a certain amount of skill - 😁😁

Hi Simon! Great vid as always.. Do you find the FX King to be significantly better than their Panthera/Impact or Maverick? I was all for getting one of their rifles when I wanted to 'upgrade' from my (actually quite trusty) Air Arms range, but once I did some detailed research their reliability and real-world accuracy put me off and I went with a Steyr and an Anschutz instead; fantastic guns, both of them, but both 0.177 and single-loaders, not great for follow up or rapid shooting in gloom! So I'm back to my HW100 in .22, but reconsidering the King... Any thoughts appreciated! 👍🏻
