Thanks for posting Simon. Those 2nd & 3rd Foxes were certainly moving-in on a purposeful mission. Nice to see the nesting Lapwings. Your time waiting in the dark on those Moors is time well spent, thank you.
Love it! Most hunters/sportsman love animals as much or more than the "animal rights" activists but they don't take the time to see what's truly there! Great job on the video Simon!
Because they’re just virtue signallers looking for brownie points. They don’t really care about the animals they care about their own image. We’re the ones out there with the animals .
Great video Simon, and a football chant for Percy the mental pigeon 🤣🤣We love you Percy Oh yes we do, We love you Percy Oh yes we do, We love you Percy Oh yes we do, Oh Percy we love you.. 🤣🤣 I bet you didn't expect that Simon and thats me sober.. 🤣🤣👍🤟✌️
Hi there Simon thanks for posting. My ewes starting to show in Victoria Australia. I got 4 foxes in 20 mins the other night. Neighbors have cattle don't shoot. Nice to see the nesting birds survive. I have a recording of a vixen on my phone and just bought a good small bluetooth speaker to see if I can call in a few as a trial. I think your time on the Moors is like my beach fishing at night. Foxing for me is more stressful- I like my sheep and feel very protective at lambing. I caught myself giving a fox a pat the other night after I shot it I don't hate them they didn't want to come to Australia its too hot and the rainfall too variable. All the best.
Simon, I re-watched the barbwire grab three or four times to really believe what I was seeing! Yep, you grabbed it with out thought or grimace! Oh man if only those predators know what was hunting them! Really cool video, those chicken foxes really were comfortable in the barn yard. When you squeaked at the first one it turned and started running right towards ya! Really really good stuff! Have a great new week!
Just landed a new perm over your neck of the woods, (Oswaldtwistle way), moorland ground, large place with some good long range vantage points. 400 head of sheep and good stock of cows too. They're having problems with foxes and crows. Went out last night (first visit) put up a couple of trail cams and feeder points and ended up bagging four reds by midnight, so made a good first impression for once 🤣. Bloody cows are a menace though... inquisitive sods but can be dangerous at night if you're not careful. And if it aint the cows... It's the midgies!
Well done Simon , Charlie the chicken killer literally walked right into that one , not the dinner he was expecting , probably gave him gas 😊 the hay rolls do make good stands don't they , stay safe and keep up the good work .
I got a good chuckle from the Percy story. You are what the word, 'sportsman' is all about. Nice video, successful outings too. Thank you again Simon for this one.
Top marks Simon, definitely foxes with a sense of purpose for the chicken coupe and stopped in their tracks before disaster struck again, i respect your ethics and totally understand why do what you are doing for the conservation of the ground nesting birds and livestock, upmost respect for yourself and keep up the great work you do for nature and landowner alike 👍💪⭐️
Top notch video as usual - thank you for doing the outstanding filming work and sharing your experience with us. I got my first permission at a local grain elevator and got 17 pigeons and 6 starlings with the air rifle yesterday. Thank you again for the inspiration!
Another great vid, I'm very proud my hometown can supply you with quality gear, I use to shoot pistol but was robbed of my sport after the knee jerk Dunblane reaction.
An other cracking video Simon. Well made. You did a great job there. The foxes can cause a lot of problems as mentioned by you. Anyways......thumbs up and greetings from Norway 🇳🇴

Nice long precision shots Simon, great quality with the 4K Alpex. Good idea to show the Lapwing chicks so the anti hunting party can see why we do this kind of hunting. Without us there would be a lot LESS fieldbirds they love to see...
Hi Simon, Thank you for showing us your footage. It certainly beats BBC1, hands down! I agree with what you say about being out with your rifle. It's so peaceful. I'm not FAC, just 12ftlb. I was on squirrel control a couple of months ago, just stood in a wood, quietly, trying to blend in with a tree for camoflage. All the little Blue Tits, Nuthatches, Great Tits, Mr. Robin, Warblers, they all quite quickly accepted me and went about their work, as though they knew I was looking after them. I was, and it's a lovely feeling, giving them a chance of survival and taking their worry away. May I ask Simon, please? When you explain your kit to us, spotters, scopes, etc, do you do your own research, or do you explain at your gun store what you require and what they recommend? Thank you again, Simon. Best wishes, Ian.
I know how you feel about the midges mate I went out without the bug spray on Sunday night although I hate putting it on this weather so I’ve just bought a Thermacel MR 300. 👍
Some great filming and commentary. Thanks for taking us all along with you.
Thank you 👍
“That was without doubt the chicken killer”. Had me chuckling away. Quality shooting as always!
Lol cheers pal.

Sure is pal and thank you.
Hi Simon, I instantly knew from the first 10 seconds that I'll be a great video by the strangled grip you gave that barbed wire. 😮😂
Lol cheers pal.
Love it! Most hunters/sportsman love animals as much or more than the "animal rights" activists but they don't take the time to see what's truly there! Great job on the video Simon!
