I have never seen that many foxes walk up to the same spot and meet the same fate!! What an excellent video today! loved the black and white of you, your rifle and the night sky behind. You are a true professional behind that trigger!

Like the way you don't celebrate having to do your predator control, the fox numbers need controlling and you do it quietly and respectfully. Well done.

I’m in Western Australia so the shooting is very different and we do have some of the most restrictive firearms legislation in the world. Anyway, I’ve moved away from night vision to thermal. I use nv for close shooting of bunnies, all less than 100m using a 17hmr and a Pard nv008. Works beautifully. I’m now using a new pulsar xp35 thermion 2 pro on my Sako 243. A beautiful match. I think it is made in heaven, the foxes may not think so. Have not missed a fox yet with it. Shooting out to 200m.love my bog pod tripod. Much better than sticks. Don’t shoot from a seat, always stand when shooting. Sit on a seat sometimes when doing some calling. Enjoy your shooting.

Nice ethical shooting. We live in central Texas and use to raise goats and cattle. Had more trouble with coyotes but a few troublesome foxes. Had many a hunt with .223 / 556 and for longer shots, 308. Due to many years of drought, high feed prices, and reaching retirement age, we finally sold off all our livestock. Now I leave the critters be, (except the hogs) and enjoy watching and listening to them sing. Cheers.

A good steward of the land you are, Simon, we're only human my friend. When I would take an animal I learned to give thanks and say a prayer over the animal. The older I got the harder on me it was but like these foxes and coyotes, they have no natural predators and left unchecked their numbers would go through the roof in turn play hell on farmers livestock and increased numbers of foxes would even lead to starvation and disease and that is nothing anybody would want to witness, it's very bad.
Anywho Simon, EXCELLENT shooting my friend! You were stacking up foxes like cordwood Simon😄. Well the farmer will be pleased. Take Care and God Bless my brother 🙏 Jay.👍👍
