Hi mate, yet another cracking vid to add to the collection and it's always heart warming to see Jack. I saw my first ever FX King in the flesh today at my local gun shop and short of sending the thing a Valentines card I can say that I've completely fallen for it lol. It was a bit pricier than I'd anticipated so gonna have to save up but what a rifle! Wishing you all the best mate and to Jack too.
Another great video, brilliant shooting with the air rifle. Its lovely to see your old mate Jack, the wife and I were wondering how he was. A lovely old boy. Thanks.
Just lies about and loves you more than anything or anyone. Good to see Jack taking it easy. Another great video Simon. Thank you for sharing your incredible skill with us. Cheers from the US.
Glad to see this video, Simon! I‘ve been about to bust waiting on your next video. 😄 Your FX King beats all I’ve seen. I had air rifles years ago; never dreamed that one day I’d see this kind of performance from an air rifle. Current air rifle technology is incredible. Thanks for the Jack update. I always am thinking about him. Cracking video ‼️🎯✅👊🏻👍🏻
Hyia Charles good to hear from you pal, ye that rifle believe it or not can be a 200 yard tool if i turn up the reg and send an heavier slug its a joke pal what it can do, i do enjoy using these new advanced air rifles because of how good they perform.
@@simon6ppc246 Simon, how do you feel about a 25 caliber FX King? Do you think there would be any gains in accuracy or performance with a 25 caliber over the 22 caliber? Does your FX King have a 500mm or 600mm barrel? Thanks a ton! Can’t wait to see your taking crows at 180-200 yards! What a rifle‼
Great video Simon in lovely weather, that FX king is one hell of a rifle with those slugs we are spoilt for choice with the kit about today , nice ending seeing our mate Jack we do miss him thanks .
It’s great to see you out in much better Simon, you’ve had Some proper soakings the last few months. The jacket might even becoming off soon😂😂. Great shooting as always pal like how you won’t take a maybe shot even on a rat. Always makes me smile when the old boy makes an appearance. Thinking that fox is on borrowed time also 🤣🤣
Smashing long range pigeon shots, Simon. T'Old Lad, Jack, still looks well, but I know from your previous vids, he's struggling on his legs. TLC is the order of the day for him. Big Steve, E. Yorks.
Another fine video Simon and in our lovely countryside, great shots and I hope you get to meet up with Mr fox sometime soon giving our ground nesting birds a fighting chance. Keep up the good work my friend
Good to see you doing what you love, and doing what your viewers love to watch. Ahh!! Jack!!! It's good to see him. Give him a pet from Todd. It's hard not seeing Jack out there with you. Peace be with you both.
Great shooting Simon, the rifles and the ammo have come a long way in 10 year including nv and thermal. Keeping me and my mate poor lol. Good to see the star of the show too.
Great video again - thanks for letting us see Jack - mine will retire this year - but i just take her in the Landrover- she just sits in it and is more than happy.
Lol ye your right there pal, but saying that me and Jack have had a few words when he used to feel sexy looking at my mates bitch 😂 which actually is his daughter.
Give Jack a pat and a tummy rub for us all. I’m starting to build a picture of scope adjustments at different ranges 15 to 100 yards with my fac air rifle. It takes time and patience 2 attributes I struggle with 😂 but worth it to get the clean kills you do. Great videos and advice.👍
My lab Trigger is a carbon copy of your Jack. He's 13 and like yours doesn't do much these days. He's been a superb worker and family dog, I try to make allowances for his condition these days.
Great video 👍 Can I ask what is this rifle zerod at? what ft lb is it set at? And what grain of ammonia did you use on those pigeons?Cheers Ash from Scotland 🏴
Hi Simon Been watching lot of your videos, learnt a lot from you. Question I have is I see you have a fx king .22, why the .22 and not a .30? Just been trying to find some info on the pros and cons of bigger calibre.
Hi Simon, I noticed you are single loading, I assume it's slugs you're shooting, what pressure are running the reg at? I have an Fac .22 Crown and have only just started to play with stretching it out with pellets, I have had a play with some slugs, but I need to start tinkering with the reg pressure I think to shoot these accurately. Fantastic shooting, give the dog Jack a biscuit from me... atb Rob.
Thanks Robert my reg is 119 but that's the King, i think with the crown i would try a 23 or 25 or may be a 27 grain slug as not sure if they just have the lungs for any thing really heavy at good speeds, but ye it should send them nice if you set it right.
To be fair when i am filming i some times forget if i have loaded the rifle or not and end up double loading with the magazine so when i single load for some reason i don't forget i know it sounds daft
Nice vid Simon..Is it the Alpex you use for day work,or something else?..If it's not,DO you use the Alpex just for ratting and the likes..Good to see Jack
