I am sorry for your loss. I lost my dog 22 years ago and I still think of him today. I never did get another dog because of the sorrow, but maybe if I did, it wouldn’t have been so bad. In your line of work you may just have to get another one and training him up will divert your mind a bit. My dog used to chase the same squirrel on our street for years and he never caught it. One morning the squirrel was dead on the side of the road, maybe after being hit by a car. I picked it up by its tail and took it down the street to a public bin. When I got to the bin I looked down and my dog had been walking with me with the squirrel in his mouth! No wonder I got some funny looks from people. But, my dog did eventually get his squirrel. Stay strong mate.
I'm sorry, mate. Our first dog as kids was a black lab. His name was Sambo. He was a beautiful dog. He's been gone over 40 years, but I still think of him. I hope you get another when you're ready. Life's better with a dog.

Sat here with me 16yr old lab who went blind about 7yr ago so had to retire her from working know she’s on borrowed time but she can still smell a piece of chicken at 50 yard. I lost my last springer a couple or years back and enjoyed so many days working the tribe I’ve not been able to replace them yet. Will miss your boss and my deepest sympathy but know he’s had a great time with you.

It’s enough to put a lump in anyone’s throat hearing the loss of your best pal Simon and I know I’ve had plenty over the years and there’s always one which will stand out from the rest and in my case it was Tilly. Again another black lab I lost three years ago who I could have sold over and over again, even to an American gun who was over here shooting grouse but you know when you have something special like you did with your Jack a bond that can’t be broken and I think he did wait for you, it’s weird how they hold on for that last goodbye. Rest easy old lad you’ve earned it fella.
Ahh bugger. We all knew it was coming Simon but it still hurts to hear Jack has left us. It's never easy and nor should it be. A dog like Jack is a blessing to have know and shared love and adventures with. I enjoyed meeting him virtually and will remember him. ATB buddy.

As an old man in rural Florida I have owned a dozen or so dogs that have dedicated their all to me and my family; let me say I know how you feel! It is awful to loose your most dedicated and loyal friend. You fortunately have great video of Jack at his best! Hopefully you can soon begin to enjoy seeing his photos and videos and thank God for the wonderful times you shared with your best friend Jack!

Mate I feel your pain, we lost are old dog just before Christmas, it’s left a massive hole I can’t fill. I still hear him trotting down the hallway to come and see me 😢
It’s always hard losing a close friend even if it’s your pet. We went thru the same thing many years ago. You have an empty feeling. You’re so used to getting home and seeing them there to meet you, then one day they’re gone. Jack was a good dog and friend.
Sorry to hear about Jack, Simon. Can see your grief as you were talking. Remember though he was a lucky dog, sat beside his best mate doing what made both him, and yourself happy. He was a very much loved pal, and you need to remember the good times you had together. He would have waited for you to come home, to say goodbye to his loving master. I enjoy your videos, but was saddened by the ending of this one. I'm 82 and have had many wonderful doggy companions of the Terrier breed, but now in a small unit alone, I really miss the loyal company.

Condolences and respect Simon. Animals, be they pets or workers, will break your heart when they leave us. Jack was a kracken dog that had a better life than most.....RIP old pal.
We only keep our dogs for a short time and they watch over us, always giving unconditional love and loyalty. Jack was, as all dogs are, one of a kind. Rest peacefully, Jack. Your watch is at an end.

So sorry to hear about Jack Simon. It's heartbreaking at any time. But even more so when you have a bond like the one between you and Jack. We'll all miss hom too.
It’s enough to put a lump in anyone’s throat hearing the loss of your best pal Simon and I know I’ve had plenty over the years and there’s always one which will stand out from the rest and in my case it was Tilly. Again another black lab I lost three years ago who I could have sold over and over again, even to an American gun who was over here shooting grouse but you know when you have something special like you did with your Jack a bond that can’t be broken and I think he did wait for you, it’s weird how they hold on for that last goodbye.
Rest easy old lad you’ve earned it fella.
Ahh bugger. We all knew it was coming Simon but it still hurts to hear Jack has left us. It's never easy and nor should it be. A dog like Jack is a blessing to have know and shared love and adventures with. I enjoyed meeting him virtually and will remember him. ATB buddy.

Sad day the loyalty you get from pets is good but the loyalty from a working dog is truly unreal other pet owners will not understand...RIP JACK ❤❤❤

As an old man in rural Florida I have owned a dozen or so dogs that have dedicated their all to me and my family; let me say I know how you feel! It is awful to loose your most dedicated and loyal friend. You fortunately have great video of Jack at his best! Hopefully you can soon begin to enjoy seeing his photos and videos and thank God for the wonderful times you shared with your best friend Jack!
So sorry to hear the news about gentleman Jack Simon. As a grown man, I’m sat here with tears in my eyes - so goodness knows how you must feel mate. Mate I feel your pain, we lost are old dog just before Christmas, it’s left a massive hole I can’t fill. I still hear him trotting down the hallway to come and see me 😢
It’s always hard losing a close friend even if it’s your pet. We went thru the same thing many years ago. You have an empty feeling. You’re so used to getting home and seeing them there to meet you, then one day they’re gone. Jack was a good dog and friend.

Sorry to hear about Jack, Simon. Can see your grief as you were talking. Remember though he was a lucky dog, sat beside his best mate doing what made both him, and yourself happy. He was a very much loved pal, and you need to remember the good times you had together. He would have waited for you to come home, to say goodbye to his loving master. Animals can reach much further into your heart than humans can, well mine, anyway. My condolences Simon. Time will ease the pain.
