Holy cow, I haven’t been to a Friendly’s since college! 🤩 We had two locations very near my campus in New Jersey. Didn’t realize that they were still opening new locations! You hit the nail right on the head, the food is generally very mid, but the experience is crazy nostalgic. Glad you had a good experience with mostly high numbers! Food is definitely interpersonal. Mini mozz sticks for the win!!! Great video you guys, hope you’re doing well ✨

I had to comment after laughing at you two! “When you are coming here, you are agreeing to today not being a great day for your health,” Sam saying she could feel grease coming out of her pores, and Jay giving the dire warning of “don’t eat the seafood here.” 😄 I thoroughly enjoyed every one of your recent “best Disney restaurant” series, but then you follow that up with a visit to Friendly’s. 💗 Love what you two do. Don’t ever change. And YES to that spectacular Sundae Jay had. I always admire the elegance the chefs display at your previous Disney restaurant visits as seen in the dainty desserts and carefully placed cheese, but I’ll take a cheese pull by Sam and melty fishbowl-size sundae any day. 10 out of 10 all around!

As always, great video guys!! I never had heard of Friendly’s until I married my wife who is from Pa. We visited it every time we were up from SC, but it closed down like 5 years ago. I may have to stop by Friendly’s next week, while we are in Disney for my Birthday. The grilled cheese looks delicious!

I live on the west coast so I've never seen friendly's but it seems like a denny's lunch vibe, sometimes you need some fried food and ice-cream Love your vids!

Long Islander here too - Carvel and Friendly’s were staples of childhood summers (more so Carvel for us, but we did indulge in some Friendly’s sundaes too!)

Friendly's is my childhood (grew up in New England). It was THE place to go after the game, concert, recital etc. to celebrate. Love their ice cream. I guess it's true that everything comes back around in time. Will have to swing by for nostalgic purposes. Did you happen to notice if they have any half gallon containers of ice cream for sale to take home?

In Upstate NY we also grew up with Friendy's. Our last location closed prob 5 yrs ago, but we haven't been in at least 15 yrs. Jay's sundae is exactly what I would want, that PB sauce is perfection. Nostalgia is always so comforting ❤ Love this vlog.

Not from LI, but Mass Our tiny mall had two Friendly’s in it. There were so many on the Cape. But the last one closed in 2020, and is now a bank. Reese’s (cup or pieces) sundaes were the best.

I have so many memories of Friendjys in Westchester County NY in the 1990s! The Peanut Butter Cup Sundae and the turkey super melt was my order! The Fribble! So fun!! 🎉

Love this! I worked one summer at the Friendly’s on Jericho Tpke opposite Jericho Terrace. I also went to the same college as the founders of Friendly’s. Loved the Fishamajig. So so food and good memories.

Hey, great video! We loved Narcoosee’s last year. We really enjoyed Toledo at Coronado Springs resort, it was superb quality food and service, highly recommended

I too live in Florida...I grew up on Long Island and my childhood Friendly's was on Larkfield Road in East Northport. Yeah it's comfort food for sure.

Oh my how cool thank you guys Friendly's is on of my favorites here in nj too always there they did close 2 down but we still have a few.. foods ok ice creams yummy great review guys so happy lol I think well go this weekend my to go too is also turkey melt and that sundae... chocolate chip mint was my fav flavor too.
