Ok so here me out...... we booked a Disneyland trip after we saw the Christmas parade in your stories last week. My amazing husband is taking my for a birthday this Thursday and it will be our first time ever. I wanted to go for years and we decided the perfect time is now with all the beautiful Christmas festivities. I am still in shock and thank you guys for inspiring us but also helping us plan this week as well. Staying at Pixar place also! If you have a must do, please let us know, we have one day only! Sending love, lets keep it going for FRANK 🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🐶🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄🎄
OMG!!!! This is SO exciting. It really is so magical this time of year. Definitely make sure to do the Small World holiday overlay- it's so much better than the regular version and try to get a virtual queue for the Haunted Mansion Holiday, I believe they do them at 7am and 12pm. We like to watch the parade on Main Street. I would definitely go to Jolly Holiday for food and mobile order early, the line gets crazy and the mobile orders fill up quick. Their Pirates is better than WDW and Indiana Jones ride is great. You also need to try a Disneyland churro! If you rope drop and do early entry with the hotel you can knock out a lot of the Fantasyland dark rides in the morning. We also really love Bengal BBQ for quick service lunch or the Fried Chicken at the Plaza. I could go on forever about this lol We can't wait to hear about your experience. Their app is also super confusing, make sure you link your tickets, you'll have to link everyone in your party to be able to do lightening lanes & reservations- they don't have the Friends & Family section like WDW does so you'll have individually link anyone's tickets who you want to make plans with. It's a quick walk to the park from Pixar Place- you'll walk through Downtown Disney to get to the park entrance.
If you're staying at Pixar Place, definitely checkout the pool decks, the areas kind of cool and empty during the day. Its packed at night during the firework time because of its great view
Staying at Pixar - your room key works at Grand CA hotel front gate and their courtyard entrance to Downtown Disney is the best location to do early entry to Disneyland. All Disney hotels are allowed to use this. It’s the closest and fastest. Security processes you at 6:45 AM but we show up at least 10 minutes before - and we always have one person hit that Starbucks in Downtown Disney while others go to front gates and then we have great coffee before Park opens. If you have one day - I hope you got a day where Disneyland Park has early entry. That’s Thursday or Saturday or Tuesday. Hope you love it! Hardest LL that books out the fastest in the morning is Indiana Jones and Tianna’s. The second we scan through gate - we book one of those.
@@disneylandlux great advice! We will use the Grand Californian hotel gate to enter, only problem is.... our plane arrives at 6:50 am, so we will miss early entry anyway. We assume we should be able to walk into the park between 8:30-9am after dropping our bags off to the Hotel. Our main goals will be only a handful of rides, snacking around the parks, and most importantly, the parade, fireworks and World of Color. (Adults only trip) We want to do mostly everything that is not something we can do at WDW, or attractions that are different from WDW, which would be: Indiana Jones, Haunted Mansion Holiday, Pirates, Alice, Snow white, Pinocchio, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, etc. (I will be skipping Small world and saving it for when my little one will travel with me in the future!) For DCA we're only interested in Cars land and Spiderman attraction, sightseeing and San Fransoyko. We're going to do a go-with-the-flow type of day, and I'm guessing we will be able to do mostly everything with Lightning lanes. No table service, and prioritizing entertainment. I'm sure we might not get everything done, but just being there for Christmastime, and fulfilling a dream to actually be at the park Walt built...actually brings tears to my eyes. We are so excited
Love everything peppermint this time of year. Everything looked amazing! I always picture Belle reading books with a pitcher of cold brew for sure 😊 Great vlog per usual, Congrats 11k so soon!!
I've only to Disneyland once, but all I remember is the great experience and awesome food. I love Disney World, but Disneyland hits differently in a really good way. I hope you guys were overly caffeinated the entire time! ;) You guys need to do something special when something hits a 10, like a graphic or sound. Celebrate those 10s!
We always heard Disneyland was better and we didn't want to believe it, but the first time we went we understood within 5 minutes. It's a more intimate experience, less intimidating/stressful, and the food and vibes are just better. We were extremely caffeinated, the club service had a great coffee machine and I was having great lattes everyday before going to the park. We do need something special for 10's!!
What a great video! The Macaron Santa Mickey cookie 🍪 looked so cute and yummy! 10! Wow! The Darth by Peppermint looked very good and the coffee with Cinnamon Toast Crunch is awesome!! Thank you!! 🙏
It's only a mere 37 hour car ride to Disneyland from here on the South Carolina Coast. I better get going ! 😂😂Great vids as usual. Everything looked amazing. Have a great time when you are there. Almost at 11k subs, congrats guys !
We stayed at Pixar Pier Hotel- we'll have a video in the future. Did you see that you won the Christmas Party giveaway ? @@ThemeParkFoodies Hi. I sent an email to your gmail account with my information. I have not been able to message you on Instagram but I will try Facebook. Than you!
Wow everything looked so good. Yes even the mint stuff that I wouldn’t try but maybe cause that macaron looked just wow! But also think that York peppermint patties are the worst candy ever lol it’s a real predicament lol Did you ever get the chocolate dipped croissant cause that’s up my alley.
We didn't get the croissant and I'm sad about it, it was also dipped in Frosted Flakes. The rest of the world is on board with Mint, even Vader so you need to get with it!
Great choices. I hope you got to try the fresh warm gingerbread cookies from Harbor Galley with the cookie butter cream. That was our favorite Christmas food this year - better than Mickey gingerbread in our opinion.
I forgot to say all that food looks good I'm a big Thanksgiving sandwich person although I'm not a bratwurst fan I think both look good but I'd more lean to the one Jay tried drown out the bratwurst lol thank you ❤
Since my son moved to LA, we’ve ditched WDW for Disneyland. It’s amazing that the Christmas celebration is part of a regular ticket! Hint: view the fireworks by Small World. It’s not a crowded and it “snows” back there too!
We didn't watch Fireworks from Small World but we did catch a little light show and snow back there!! It was amazing. Disneyland puts Disney World to shame.
I'd love to see a video now and then of you guys cooking up a meal and showing us how you eat at home! Just to mix things up a little...
We definitely will in the future when all the holiday happenings simmer down here 😊
It's a wonderful time of year ✨️ 😊 ❤️ 😊
Indeed!
It’s great to have you guys back on the west coast! Have a wonderful trip!!
Great to be on the West coast, always feels like paradise.

Definitely the cheese brot on the pretzel bread
Yesss #TeamBrat
Thanks for flying to California to make this great video for us. That pretzel-brat needed some spicy mustard. Which hotel did you stay at?

We didn't have room for the Harbor Galley cookies :( Is it too late to fly back ?!?!
@@ThemeParkFoodies Yes come back! 🤣

I keep telling Sam that Potato Dog was better. Great pick 🙂. The Thanksgiving sandwich was 🔥. Of course, thank you!
Disney Land food is so much more on a higher level than Disney world.
absolutely
I’d love a comparison between the Mickey Gingerbread cookie and the EPCOT gingerbread tile cookie
LOL the Gingerbread tile doesn't even belong in the same category as the Gingerbread Mickey!!! Mickey > Epcot Tile!
@ Hahhaa I really need to see how bad that cookie is now, but shelling that much money for a terrible cookie is such a waste

Santa's Vacation Sausage Potato - how bizarre!
Santa has some weird taste!
