Just returned from WDW and my family cannot thank you guys enough for all your reviews! Theme Park Foodies "Top" series are just great. We are saving the CBS review as our prime time event lol. The MK series has been informative for those of us that have not had a MK sit down meal in years. This is one place I would be willing to try. Everything looks so good. Thank you so much for helping with my Disney and food addiction lol.

This was such a fun series to watch. We've always struggled with MK sit downs. We love BOG and Liberty Tree Tavern and have also had some good meals at Cinderellas Royal Table. We would love to go to Skippers but it seems like most of the food there is spicy. Thanks for the fantastic reviews and insight of these restaurants! 🤩
We haven't been to CRT since 2019 but we've heard it's gotten a lot better. I (Sam) can't handle spicy food and I stick to a few things at Skipper and always enjoy it :)
We haven’t been to the Plaza yet but tried all the rest of these. We love Liberty Tree Tavern but recently tried Skipper Canteen and that is probably my husbands favorite place to eat now! We loved it!
My wife and I agree with you guys. Skipper Canteen is our favorite in Magic Kingdom. The other ones are good. That is just our favorite. Thanks for the video.

We’ve have loved watching this top 5! We were thoroughly surprised by Liberty Tree Tavern last year - the food and value for money. We ate at Skipper Canteen several years ago. It was just okay for us as our server didn’t really get into the spirit of things with the jokes etc. There wasn’t as much choice food wise for us then either. Thanks for sharing!

It's easy to walk by- it blends so well into Adventureland. The cast members here are incredible and the menu is much more elevated than anything else in Magic Kingdom. This was a fun series to film and we're looking forward to doing the other parks.

I thought Liberty Tree was going to take the #1 spot but Skipper Canteen blew us away! I think we are doing Epcot series next but we'll keep that in mind :)

It blends in with Adventureland so well! it's right after Sunshine Tree Terrace. We had a great time filming this series- Magic Kingdom has such a comforting atmosphere when you're going through hard times.

Love your shirt, Jay! I bought that same shirt on Etsy for my husband :) I liked Skipper Canteen... I just ordered wrong when I went there (the harissa dish, I didn't realize it would be that spicy) I enjoyed my daughters food much much more! It's definitely worth another try for me because the app and dessert was so good! Your dishes looks soooo good!! I haven't dined at some of these restaurants, but I do agree with your number 1. I hope you do these BEST restaurants for the other parks, it's a nice series!
We have a lot of shirts from LBV shop, they are very high quality and great designs. The food was great and the service was so wonderful we really had such an enjoyable time here. We will definitely do this for all the parks :)

We had such an amazing time at this dinner. Every single cast member in that restaurant including the hosts outside- were incredible. They seem to really enjoy their location and knew so much history. This place really embodies Magic Kingdom and it's nice that the food quality is elevated compared to most of the other offerings in MK. Hope you have a great week :)
the background blended into the restaurant is unique and fun jungle skipper canteen is a restaurant id like to try. the menu options are very diverse compared to the rest of the magic kingdom restaurants or even the resort restaurants.
Dang now I wish we had a trip planned. I agree with your #1 and 2 but those are the only of the 5 we've eaten at. I really enjoyed both and was pleasantly surprised by Liberty Tree Tavern. I really want to try that pasta with the Vodka sauce at Tony's. Mama Melrose used to have one many years ago that was really good. I also wish Be Our Guest was still a quick service for at least one meal of the day. I'm glad we were able to go when it was because I really don't think we would enjoy it now especially for the price. I really enjoyed these 5 reviews.
Agreed! I wish Be Our Guest still had that quick service lunch. It was a great cost effective way to enjoy the atmosphere in there. In our opinion, the cuisine at Be Our Guest was the highest quality but not good enough to make it number 1. So happy you enjoyed 🙂. Thank you!
I finally got to eat there in may I waited 15 minutes to get even a glass of water that was after I went up to the hostess to ask if I could get a waitress the food was nothing to right home about the servers were not preforming that day no cool banter it was once and done I have found when you are a single diner the servers think you will be cheap in my case that is far from the truth but never again
I love the Tastes Like Chicken and get it every time, however last visit in September 24 the chicken was just not as crispy and I asked the server and she told me there had been several iterations of it in the last few years. I will give it another try next time but I was SO sad!
Oh no 😕, we have had differing iterations of the Tastes Like Chicken. This one was Crispy so hopefully they changed it back. The downside of Theme Park Restaurants are how inconsistent they can be. Hope you get a good one on your next visit 🙂.
Not dumb at all! We didn't include character dining, hence no CRT too. We felt the characters gave those restaurants a different feel if that makes sense.
We have always wanted to eat here. I don’t know why we never have but now it is a 100% must on the next visit. I also plan on getting a small S.E.A. Tattoo.

@@ThemeParkFoodies I was at Skipper Canteen earlier this year and agree it was the best food I had in MK thus far, but I was lucky enough to get a CRT reservation for an upcoming trip. Were you disappointed in the CRT dining compared to SC?
@@ThemeParkFoodies Just got back from WDW this weekend and CRT definitely was great. Maybe I was lucky since I heard it was inconsistent but the braised beef, filet mignon, crab topped fish of the day and cheesecake were very good. Keep up the great videos you two!
So torn- Tony's or Jungle Skipper Canteen? Worried that Jungle is too adventurous for my picky eaters. I would like to try something different, so maybe I'll try Jungle with my dad and let the rest go to Tony's.
Jungle Skipper is great for those with dietary restrictions. Due to it having some Asian Cuisine we do think it should have something to please everyone. However, if you have some really picky eaters and you know they love pasta then Tony's is definitely the move. We don't think you'd be disappointed with either. The reason we think Jungle Skipper is the best is because it encapsulates the Magic Kingdom experience. Tony's has amazing staff, a beautiful restaurant and some solid eats though. Oh man, now I'm conflicted for you 😆. Hope that info at least helped a bit and hope you and your family have the best time at the park 🙂.

Skipper Canteen is our favorite as well. I'm glad to see some new menu options to try out.
Once we finished the meal here we knew it was the winner. It really is great seeing their menu get some attention 🙂.

We highly recommend! Jungle Skipper Canteen is an experience. It's like riding The Jungle Cruise while you're eating.
If you like corn nuts, try Inca Corn from Trader Joe’s.

The fried rice looks more like Hibachi rice (Which I actually prefer)
It did have a bit of Hibachi flavor too it!
