Hi TPF's! First of all, you guys are fabulous. Thank you for sharing the magic. This video made me very excited for Thanksgiving. Our thoughts will be with you this week. Stay safe! ❤
Hi Sam & Jay 👋☺️! Thank you for sharing your dining experience. The decor was very Early American, however a bit noisy. It reminded me of Fraunces Tavern, located in lower NYC near the Wall Street area. In my experience, I think it is very difficult to cook turkey to be moist and flavorful, hence the need for gravy. But everything on your plate looked delicious for American holiday favorites, especially your dessert. 😋 I enjoy your videos and look forward to seeing them twice a week. Hoping you are doing well. 😊 ❤ All the best from NYC!
Americans are pretty noisy haha We always really enjoy our meals here- they are quite comforting :) Thank you for always saying hi each video, we really appreciate you!
Thanks to you guys, Topolinos is now our favorite restaurant. Took the wife for her 30th birthday on Saturday at 8:35 and we got the table right in front of the window for the show. It was the perfect night.
I’m happy you guys liked it. Idk if I could ever have a thanksgiving meal on a busy hot park day lol. But maybe in 1 to 2 years when we live down there. Lol.
We go here almost every trip. The salad and mashed potatoes alone are worth the price. I love that shallot dressing. Gah, it's making me excited for our next trip! 😊
HI, What can we say? You guys just do such a great job with your reviews, so easy to watch, funny, informative, and detailed. I know we keep saying this but we watch "a lot" of food reviews and by far The TPF's are #1. We are eating at Liberty Tree on Wednesday evening on our trip (10 days) and we are very thankful you did a review. Last year we went and service was, shall we say, not that great and it kinda turned us off but we decide to give it another shot and after watching your review we are excited again to go. Please be safe during the upcoming weather situation. Oh ya I did some research and they did not have Sprite in Colonial days ............😀 We have mixed emotions about the upcoming Cars Land and the demolishing of Tom's island and the rivers of America. Granted the boat ride and the island was not one of our must do favorites but the entire area is nostalgic for us because we have been going for so long. Change is invadable ....
That is really kind to say because there are so many amazing creators in our space that we look up to and inspire us to do better. The service was good (not spectacular) but I do think the meal, atmosphere, and price are great. The restaurant is very loud and busy and the servers are definitely stretched thin. We hope you enjoy it was much as we did!
Hey Guys. Glad you enjoyed it. Not really a go to for us. We have eaten there about 2-3 times over the years it was good, but not good enough to make it in our top 25-30 restaurants in and around Disney. Portions are very small imo. Although the desert looked great. Thanks for sharing
Wow, that “yes” caught me by surprise!! I haven’t been in literally a decade due to a bad experience (food & service) but I think it’s time to give it another try.
I loved doing their ala carte lunch and getting the toffee cake, but now that it’s prefix I stopped going. Last visit the cake had gone from big round serving to small square. I made it at home too and after facing a 9x13 tray of it, I haven’t wanted it in a long while lol
We never got to experience the ala carte lunch. Hahaha, we made a big skillet of it 4 years ago and we haven't made it since. Still love it but know what you mean :)
Boston Market closed on Long Island at least mine both did. Heartbreaking! The mac and cheese and sweet potatoes omg! LTT menu used to actually say the mac n cheese was stouffers.
No! The slow demise of Boston Market has been disappointing to watch. I haven't seen one in awhile. This Mac & Cheese is definitely not Stouffers. It tasted watered down and different than what we've had in years past. Happy to have Libery Tree Tavern for our Boston Market fix 🙂
Last trip we did Diamond Horseshoe as we couldn't get LTT and never again - not sure if it's dustance to kitchen or what but everything was cold - was not good.
We will try our best! Liberty Tree Tavern Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake Recipe Cake Bottom Serves: 5-6 Prep Time: 10 min Total Time: 10 min Ingredients 1 box yellow cake mix 1 large egg 1 stick butter (softened) Instructions 1. Mix ingredients. 2. Spread mixture evenly in greased baking pan. Cake Top Serves: 5-6 Prep Time: 15 min Total Time: 50 min Ingredients 8 ounces cream cheese (softened) 2 large eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/4 cup butter 1 pound powdered sugar (sifted) 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips 1 cup Heath Bar pieces Instructions 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees. 2. Mix cream cheese until smooth. 3. Slowly add eggs and vanilla. 4. Add butter and mix well. 5. Add powdered sugar, slowly. 6. Add chocolate chips and toffee pieces. 7. Mix until ingredients are all just incorporated evenly - do not overmix! 8. Put on top of Cake Bottom ingredients in pan. 9. Bake for 35 minutes. Inside should just be slightly gooey, but not liquid. We used a cast iron skillet and cooked our cake for 65 minutes! Pair it with some vanilla ice cream and syrup for the full effect.
We ate the first time there in 1999 and yes there were characters. People would walk in just to get a picture with colonial dressed characters only to get escorted out. We have loved it ever since.
Hi - it's John from Portland! Been thinking of you guys during all this storm craziness - Hope you are safe and hoping you make it thru smoothly and without any problems Sending all love and support Enjoyed your Liberty Tree vlog I've only eaten there once - and it was during the a la carte menu days Had a great lunch though - bowl of excellent, creamy clam chowder The best fish and chips I've had on property And the perfect ooey gooey cake. - in a piping hot cast iron pan I'm still hoping to get out there in January and do the airbnb trip I've been talking about No parks but lots of eating, shopping and relaxing at the Resorts and Disney Springs and around Orlando Please let me know how you're doing Wishing you well!
@ThemeParkFoodies stay safe and well! - the images are heartbreaking - sending much care and support to everyone affected If I do make this next trip I will look forward to hopefully saying hi and sharing food and drink and talk - all best wishes for a peaceful Halloween season
I don't think I have been there for a LONG time, but glad to see the food hasn't suffered much over the years like all the other venues. Sam, don't bully Jay into changing his scores. ;)
I love this restaurant but surprisingly i don't like pot roast and dont love turkey but the sides are so good and the dessert is amazing. I tried the vegan meatloaf our last trip to see if I'd like it and I didn't but Im also not vegan. After watching Be Our Guest this was my guess for your guys number 1 restaurant. Have you tried Paula Deans ooey gooey toffee butter cake, I wonder if its similar? Glad you guys are safe after the hurricane.
There's something for everyone at Liberty Tree! We haven't tried Paula's cake but looking at the recipe it's pretty similar. We are so grateful that this week is over and that we are all okay :) Thank you!
I don’t know how it’s possible lol but I’ve been going to wdw since the 70’s and haven’t eaten here. I’m always saying we wil eat here for the holidays. But we’re ever here for them:) now we live here but we are blocked out lol I still want to try it though! I love thanksgiving food:)
We went to LTT for the first time last year. Its my new favorite, replacing Crystal Palace. We went at lunch on a day we were staying for Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Huge mistake. We ended up napping in the Hall of Presidents with full bellies after lunch.
😆 oh man we've been there. This is definitely the place to hit before you go back to the room and turn into a vegetable. LTT and Hall of Presidents sounds like the quintessential Liberty Square experience 🙂.
Great video love LTT. It’s sad Disney is slowly chipping away at anything American history. No need to replace the beautiful island and riverboat they should have just added on to park. I like the cars ride, but more asphalt
We hope Liberty Square remains despite the loss of the River Boat. It's definitely risky doing what they're planning. Every Magic Kingdom style park has this scenic area in their layout. We do our best to reserve judgement until we see the end product but it does seem like a drastic change. Thank you 🙂
Hi TPF's! First of all, you guys are fabulous. Thank you for sharing the magic. This video made me very excited for Thanksgiving. Our thoughts will be with you this week. Stay safe! ❤
Thank you Nancy! We are pumped for Thanksgiving too- I hope we make some plans soon lol
Can I just say your videos are my happy place! I am so thankful for you both!!
That means a lot. Thank you for this kind comment. We're thankful for you and your support. We feel privileged to be able to provide you these videos.
We absolutely love the food at Liberty Tree Tavern. One of our favorite places to eat for sure!
So happy you agree with our assessment 🙂. In our opinion this spot is underrated. Especially with that dessert 😋.

Looks like a great meal! Agree that this is a great value. Stay safe this week, we are thinking about you guys ❤
Classic American fare and price is great (for Disney). Thank you- we're trying :/
Thanks to you guys, Topolinos is now our favorite restaurant. Took the wife for her 30th birthday on Saturday at 8:35 and we got the table right in front of the window for the show. It was the perfect night.
That’s awesome! We’re so happy to hear that. Happy belated birthday to your wife 😊
@@ThemeParkFoodies thank you :) she is a Sam as well. Hope you two are ok through this storm! We are currently locked down at pop century.
The Liberty Tree Tavern is my favorite restaurant in The Magic Kingdom!
It's a classic!
Went in April. Loved it. Beef was sooooo tender, everything was excellent
Happy you had a great time! We agree, so underrated 🙂.
I love Liberty Tree Tavern! Can’t wait to watch! ❤
It will be tough to beat!!
Hell ya!!! I love making little turkey gravy stuffing sandwiches too on thanksgiving ❤️
it’s the best part!!!!
This is our favorite MK restaurant. The dessert is always the best 😋😋
It’s the best!!!
I’m happy you guys liked it. Idk if I could ever have a thanksgiving meal on a busy hot park day lol. But maybe in 1 to 2 years when we live down there. Lol.
It's been one of our faves for awhile. Definitely better as a dinner than a lunch. So filling!!!
We go here almost every trip. The salad and mashed potatoes alone are worth the price. I love that shallot dressing. Gah, it's making me excited for our next trip! 😊
The dressing is SO good!!! That's so fun that it's a tradition on your trips- really great place and I'm glad it hasn't changed much.

The portions are small but you can always ask for more, it's all you can eat! The dessert is our favorite :)
Wow great review Have been here since 80s.Thank you guys great to see you ❤
Thank you Alessandra, we really enjoyed ourselves.
another great review. stay safe from Milton.
Thank you! Looking scary in these parts the next few days. We really appreciate it 🙂.
Always look forward to your reviews! Nice to see vegetarian options. Heath bars, still a personal favorite.
Thanks so much! We feel privileged to be able to provide you these reviews 🙂. Heath Bars make great desserts 😋.
Wow, that “yes” caught me by surprise!! I haven’t been in literally a decade due to a bad experience (food & service) but I think it’s time to give it another try.
I even surprised myself saying yes haha Sorry you had a bad experience :( especially food and service wise, I don't blame ya.
I loved doing their ala carte lunch and getting the toffee cake, but now that it’s prefix I stopped going. Last visit the cake had gone from big round serving to small square. I made it at home too and after facing a 9x13 tray of it, I haven’t wanted it in a long while lol

I would like to try the Chrystal Palace to be able to nominate it
We aren't including buffets or character dining in this series, but we do have previous reviews on Crystal Palace dinner and breakfast.

Worth it to go there just for that!

That sounds awesome! I wish I had a time machine 😆. Wish they'd bring th characters back. Liberty Tree Tavern is underrated in our opinion 🙂
Hi - it's John from Portland!
Been thinking of you guys during all this storm craziness -
Hope you are safe and hoping you make it thru smoothly and without any problems
Sending all love and support
Enjoyed your Liberty Tree vlog
I've only eaten there once - and it was during the a la carte menu days
Had a great lunch though - bowl of excellent, creamy clam chowder
The best fish and chips I've had on property
And the perfect ooey gooey cake. - in a piping hot cast iron pan
I'm still hoping to get out there in January and do the airbnb trip I've been talking about
No parks but lots of eating, shopping and relaxing at the Resorts and Disney Springs and around Orlando
Please let me know how you're doing
Wishing you well!
Hi John! Thanks so much for thinking of us. Luckily we are okay :) Hope you get to do your January trip, it sounds perfect.

I don't think I have been there for a LONG time, but glad to see the food hasn't suffered much over the years like all the other venues. Sam, don't bully Jay into changing his scores. ;)
I don't think this thing has changed a bit! I needed justice for the pot roast :)
That wasn't bullying! More like real-time editing (her job😊)
@@jay6830Eb haha fair enough! She does have to juggle those scores showing up correctly :D
I love this restaurant but surprisingly i don't like pot roast and dont love turkey but the sides are so good and the dessert is amazing. You have to try it!! We're blocked out too for Thanksgiving :(
@ we are still going to be at WDW though! We have Thanksgiving lunch reservations at Sanaa . My birthday is 2 days later and we’ll be at Toledo
Do you know if you can request a specific room?
They are usually pretty accommodating, you may have to wait longer but I'm sure its doable!
Stay safe during the hurricane 🙏
We are all okay, thank you!
Great video love LTT. It’s sad Disney is slowly chipping away at anything American history. No need to replace the beautiful island and riverboat they should have just added on to park. I like the cars ride, but more asphalt

I want to do this in the evening of my birthday. Do you know if they cater for soy free diets?
We're not 100% certain, but Disney is pretty good at catering to specific dietary needs- they will ask you before you dine.
For us English, is pot roast beef?
Yes
I pray that you are safe from the Hurricane.
Thank you! It's looking scary over here so we really appreciate it 🙂
How is the food decor there?😊😊
We love it!
