    My family and I are New Englanders and we just ate at Liberty Tree last week. Everything was delicious! It was my favorite sit-down restaurant we tried and we did a lot of the most recommended ones.

    I’m an AP and this restaurant is one of my absolute favorite! I look for an excuse to go eat here (because it’s pricey since it’s all you can eat). I just think all of this food is absolutely delicious and definitely is comforting and nostalgic. The guy that says it’s Cracker Barrel quality - NO WAY! It’s so, so good.

      But how do you explain that it is consistently ranked the best restaurant in MK?

    • @josesantiago1616
      @josesantiago1616 2 года назад +4

      @@jenniferlawrence1372 comparatively, it is the best that MK has to offer but that doesn't mean it is overall great. Let's just also remember that food in Disney in general hasn't been exactly the same since the park closure happened due to having to find new vendors either because they went out of business or supply chain issues. It could also depend on who's in the kitchen cooking that day too. From my recent personal experiences, many of my favorite places to eat in Disney just aren't the same anymore for one reason or another.

    • @StrongForceRacing
      @StrongForceRacing 2 года назад +1

      @@josesantiago1616 I have to disagree, have you been Skipper Canteen lately? They are pumping out some quality food that is a little risky with the flavor palate but definitely pays off and works well together all around! I was pleasantly surprised at how great it was. Now that comes with the same caveat that it depends on the chef/cooks that day but that holds true with most any restaurant.

    I got so sick from this restaurant back in 2013. I am a DVC member and have never been able to go back to this restaurant. I had the pot roast. I was on the bus about an hour later and barfed my guts out. I like filled up a gallon ziplock freezer bag. I was in my room sick for the whole next day. We were given three additional park passes for Magic Kingdom as it messed up our travel plans.. I have eaten there before my 2013 experience, but that time in 2013 damn near killed me. I don't think I have had pot roast since...

      Its served on platters on the middle of the table and you serve to your individual plates. You can ask for more of anything you want. Like if you run out of pot roast, you can ask and they will bring you more pot roast.... or in case of our family, we wanted more of the meats since we are low carb and they brought a whole new meat platter lol.

    How does Liberty Tree Tavern compare to Garden Grill, the other famous Thanksgiving meal on property?

    • @BuzzDoesDisney
      @BuzzDoesDisney 2 года назад

      Liberty Tree is, in my opinion, a better representation of the Thanksgiving Day meal. The biggest difference is probably how things are served. At LTT, each item comes on its own plate and you serve yourself from those; at GG it’s served on a skillet and you serve yourself from that.

    This New Englander Rating; FAIL!!!!!!!
    Dined 15/FEB/24 during fireworks. Quite disappointed. The salad was delicious if not overloaded with apples and cranberries. The dinner rolls delicious. I chose this restaurant the moment I saw the potroast on the menu. Worst. Potroast. Ever. I was raised on pot roast. This was dry. Powdery. Many dried blackened ends. The macaroni and cheese is pasty and glutenous. I had to bite my tongue not to complain. Macaroni and cheese is an American god. You shouldn't do it injustice.
    The mashed potatoes delicious. The stuffing yummy. The pork inconsistent (the first round delicious the second tough and uncuttable). I haven't had dessert yet but the cranberry sauce? To DIE for. Delicious.
    My server was EXCELLENT. Never missed a beat. Loved the server.

    Used to be able to get a similar meal for a mere fraction of the cost in Tomorrowland’s Cosmic Ray’s.
    Rotisserie chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans.
    But if you want a low carb/ high protein meal, this is the place to get it…..for a price.

    My family and I went here a few years ago, and it was one of the worst meals we had. All the meat was tough and dry, and the mac and cheese tasted like the cream in it had gone bad. And I love almost every kind of Mac n cheese ever. I will admit I remember enjoying the green beans. But we got served a dessert that was a berry crumble thing, not the ooey gooey. I won't trust it again. But Skipper Canteen is one of my favorites. So maybe it is because I like more adventurous foods, too. Go to Skipper. Go to a monorail resort restaurant. Skip Liberty Tree. It is a disappointment.

    I’m sorry, but Hannah saying at 2:54 ´the restaurant is not necessarily very handicap accessible so keep that in mind’ is simultaneously ableist and inaccurate. The correct person-first terminology is simply ´accessible ´. And, if you’re going to be reporting on the accessibility of a restaurant, do your research. The main entrance is accessible as are certain areas of the dining room. There is also an accessible bathroom on the main floor.

      It’s so interesting that you and I had opposite experiences. As a person with a family member with mobility issues, I was so proud and grateful that she thought of that that I never thought to complain about her terminology (terminology that is used most commonly).
      This seems a little like giving a beloved Japanese colleague a giftbox containing a valuable pearl necklace and being met with the comment that I was uncouth and ignorant to have handed it to her with one hand instead of two and I should have done more research.
