Lots of misinformation out there. I looked up ships and upgrades and was told you could only put the class of parts on a ship that it started with. Now I learn after getting ready to go through my first unity that the reactor can be upgraded to C on a class a ship, basically making it a class C ship. I only watched this video to learn about best weapons. Sure glad i did.

I went tank / battleship. Turrets all around. I don't even need to steer my ship. Just blow through the middle and ship parts scatter before my shields drop 1 tick.

I made this ship look almost the same as the original but about 30% bigger . I started by making the wings into actual habitats . Then I put a 2 X 2 captain's quarters that I got from a mod in the center section . Then I turned it into a C-Class ship and installed the best weapons in the game . My favorite builds are small ships that are using big ship parts . The small ships are only faster because they're smaller and lighter . Not because their engine provides more power or boost . Think small car big engine .

As much fun as the smaller fighter ship builds are, I would like to see your take on an efficient large ship. I suck at outpost building, and generally just live in my ship. I cant find any home ship builds that look decent and arent massive cargo ships. Maybe not the highest damage or speed, but I took down 5 starborn ship with the basic razorleaf on extreme, so maybe absolute damage isnt always necessary.

One downside to the FINAL Upgrade to Most Powerful Combat Ship is that it has four White Dwarf 3015 engines, requiring 12 power slots. With shields maxed out at 12 and weapons at 6 each, I can afford only half the power to engines, making my top speed 90. To get more top speed, I swapped out the four White Dwarf 3015 engines for a pair of Dunn-71s. That gets me a top speed of 140 while leaving the rest of the power settings the same.

You should get the Enhance mirror. It's so much more convenient and it hasn't made my game crash like the actual Enhance location does

I think I never used the Pinch 8Z Reactor as I usually go for Pinch 8A Reactor for the hull Bonus or go with SF40 Sheared Flow Reactor as the mass budget on my builds often does not allow that extra 13 mass that the Pinch 8Z Reactor needs just for 35 extra hull. Now I wonder what repair rate on a reactor actually does as the Pinch 8Z Reactor has the highest of all reactors.

Love your channel keep it up. My comment is towards Bethesda game design and this video game. If it takes 59 minutes to teach how to upgrade a ship in Starfield.... I'm not playing that game. That's not fun.

There is a glitch on the Star Eagle that lets you get more of the advanced weapons before you unlock them. Move the weapon you want (laser or missile pod, I assume) to the weapon mount point on one of the fore landing gear modules. Duplicate the gear, and the attached weapon will also duplicate. Take it off, and stick it on your ship where you like.

Was thinking about wandering back to Starfield because of some shipbuilding ideas. This video helped break down some basics that I really needed to consider with certain parts. Love what you did with the Frontier in the first few levels. Aesthetically pleasing and so much more effective. Many kudos.

Yes I have a love for the 3230s and a couple of the other slower rate of fire pbs try the ones with a rate of 2.5 to 3 or 4 , but at the moment I'm running I believe the 3230 and a auto pb with a em weapon for boarding other vessels

Hello ShipTechnician! Would you be willing to do a build showcasing the "Mauler 106S Shot-Cannon?" It is unique among all ship weapons in that it is a DOUBLE-BARREL SHOTGUN! It functions unlike anything else in the game. The stats are bad, so I think most players never try it out. Nobody knows about the space shotgun?! It is nowhere near as good as particle cannons--or even the Vanguard Hellfire Cannon--but I believe ship combat in Starfield has now been "solved," and many players are missing out on the interesting gameplay found in exploring the "bad" parts. I think some exposure for other build types from the best ship builders would be great. I am using it with 2x sets of Reza Pulse Laser Turrets (for their cool looking Star Wars style firing pattern!) and I am convinced that this is the most cinematic possible setup for space combat. It is not "GOOD," but Starfield is so easy when equipped with particle cannons that for me, this is the new meta. Who can beat this light show?

i didnt see how much cargo your last ship could hold

A quick tip for players that wanna board and loot ships in space then dont use auto weapons or maybe just use 1 type of auto weapon. They are good as u only need 1 point to fully power them but u better be good at taking that power away quickly as even if u disable the engines the auto weapons will fire untill it is destroyed. When u first start the Vanguard quest even though u can run right through the Vanguard background museum try not to. There are quite a few podiums to listen to but the story they tell i found to be a very good way of telling the backstory not just for the Vanguard but pretty mutch the entire settled systems. Characters all over the settles systems mention tiny parts of what u learn in that museum from time to time so having listened to them u know for the most part what they are refering to. So dont just run past them as u start the Vanguard and each 1 isent really that long so its not gonna take as long time as u first may think.

A quick and easy way if u havent unlocked C-class yet is to just swap in a B class reactor, add the Vanguard shield which is the 2nd best shield generator in the game including C-class generators and add some Partical Beam weapons. If u have C-class unlocked u can ofc make this even better but even this small change shreads anything in its path. Your not gonna have enough power to power everything but u dont need to. EDIT: Also the only skill u need to make this change is the ability to fly a B-class ship becouse of the reactor swap and the Vanguard shield generator that if i´m not mistaken is a B-class. Honestly just swapping out the weapons for A-class Partical Beam weapons is enough to drasticly boost its combat power if your not rdy for a full upgrade yet. I know he said this wouldent take into account any aesthetica changes and i get that but god damn those 2 extra engines he added. Please no.
