Great intro! Even better demonstrating the possibilities for changing out the mechanicals while maintaining the basic form of the ship. I think a lot of people are enamored with the 6830s. They have their uses, but there's definitely a trade-off. Excellent video!

I built this with a center Hope Tech Landing Bay, center cockpit, and 3 top Poseidon Engines. I'm amazed at how changing from the 6830's decreased my ship's mass and allowed for more cargo while gaining mobility. I always build for 100 percent mobility.
For anyone wondering why Han said parsec when they are a unit of distance and not time is because. Traveling though hyperspace is incredible dangerous/ Everything has to be taken into account. From massive black holes, all the way down to small asteroids. In fact, it was an ancient and powerful race thousands upon thousands of years ago that mapped hyperspace routs. The Kessel run takes you close to several large gravitational bodies that require a very skilled pilot and and excellent ship to shave off the distance you need to travel in both hyperspace and normal space.

Oh big caveat! As a 'Cargo Ship' it could ONLY transport 2 passengers and 2 droids (at aprox 350) and maintain that high mobility we all assumed was end all be all!
Trickier video to follow compared with your later videos, particularly if you want the “A” version, but I managed it and it was worth the effort. I’m eyeing up your Royal Diplomatic build for my final ship slot. Keep up the great work and keep building.

Did i miss something? Your class c that u took apart to show use the class a doesn't have the same stats as mine, which i followed your video. Your cargo is at 4270 while mine is at 3730. Your mobility is at 95 while mine is at 100. Your mass is at 39 something while mine is at 3816. Your weapons also had alot higher stats. As did your hull. Is that because you had your skills maxed out?
Could be due to differences in character skill. The mobility and mass differences make me think there is a minor difference between our ships, but also likely due to skill differences.
Is it just the ng20 landing gear? Or is it wide or fore? Also can i just attach 1 to a ship then just duplicate it when building or do i have to buy all five landing gear?
You can change the variants later, but they’re all wide. And you have to buy all 5, you won’t be able to duplicate unless you’re building at a vendor that also sells them

Take a step back please. Tech released his ships to xbox mods and I'm tricking loving it. My ng+ is basically a Star Wars makeover and his Falcon fits right in. Does typing on a keyboard automatically make you rude/antisocial or is a 24/7 thing with you

I'm not seeing the sal 6830 at the staryard. Only the 6110, 6220 and the 6330.

You can use those lower versions, they look the same. The SAL 6830s are unlocked with the quest “All That Money Can Buy"
