Great idea, if you can find weldable rebar, it is even better. There will be the letter W on the bar logo.

I did this to a beat up craftsman. It works but sometimes grass wraps on the bar at the back of the chute opening.

Well the Kohler Courage at least you didn't have you're block crack on that pile of shit 112 hours in Kohler didn't even warranty it it was a bad casting they screwed a lot of people over on that engine

I bought the same mower used. Its seems good but its missing the air filter housing/cover so I dont have a part number to order it - dang it !!! You sold that one I bet ...

Hey i got this exact lawnmower. Finally got it running what would cause N to be reverse and reverse to be reverse x2. There is a way to get that drive belt on without disassembling everything

Super cool video! I have the 94 w/ Kohler Command 23 HP. I found it on CL for $350. I wanted it for it's 50" deck, to replace the one on my 2000 green GT3000. It also came w/ a heavy 48" snow blade, wheel weights, an extra set of back AG tires/wheels & it's original manual in it's plastic bag. It was only used to plow a driveway in the winter, which in Western Washington, it doesn't snow often or usually very much. It's deck was never used. So, now my GT6000 is my favorite for mowing & moving firewood; I use it throughout the year. It hauls ass, is a much smoother ride than my newer GT3000 & the massive snout on it makes me feel like I'm cruising around my property & neighborhood on a big hog. It's an absolute tank & handles hills & slopes so well. I hope you keep this one; it's a workhorse & that winch is bomb! I love it's 6-speed, too. It was fun to watch you get it started after sitting so long & it sounds great! Can't wait for your follow-up video. Thanks!
