    Alex, the previous owner got his money's worth on those front tires. That was well worth the $100 you gave for that tractor. I agree that machine should bring $1000+ for sure. Really nice repair. I bet you have a really good reputation in your area. You don't cut any corners and that makes for a dependable tractor that looks as good as it runs! Goodluck in 2025 sir! 👏🔧🇺🇸

I hope you have a great new year Roger 😎

    I had a relative give me a commercial Craftsman with a similar toe out issue. I replaced the drag links (steering arms) and it fixed the problem. I eventually found out that the first owner of this machine hit it with a full size tractor. You couldn't visibly tell that they were bent on the machine, but I definitely could when I put the old one beside the new one. That is probably what was going on with this machine.

    At 13:05 the word isn’t Venturi, it’s Bernoulli's principle. Yes, airflow within the throat of the carb is affected by the Venturi, or decreased diameter area, but the fuel being drawn into the throat of the carb from that tiny orifice in the side of the throat is a result of Bernoulli's principle.
    This principle can be illustrated by forcing air across the opening of a straw, which will pull a liquid up from below.
    In a more appropriate example, after washing off a machine with blind fastener holes exposed, I use shop air with a blow gun to pull all the water out of the holes by holding the airflow perpendicular to the holes. The water is sucked right out and away from me, as opposed to blowing air directly into the holes, which may force most of the water out, but not all, and in the process splashes water directly into my face.
    These are two different but related fluid dynamics principles which can be mislabeled, much the same as “leverage” versus “torque”. Don’t get me started! 😂😉🔧👍

  • @jesterr7133
    @jesterr7133 Месяц назад

    I changed Drag links on my Craftsman recently and I had to drop that steering plate. You can reach that nut from the back side. It takes a minute to maneuver around everything, but a ratchet will fit in there. You don't have to pull the crankshaft pulley to access it. I had to go in from the back, insert the ratchet handle first. It took a minute, but I got it in there, lol. Why the hell did they not just thread the plate instead of using a nut? That was an unnecessary pain in the ass.
