Tea and Games
Добавлен 21 сен 2022
My husband & I are casual weekend board gamers. I make videos about what we're playing & other board game topics just for the fun of it...which is also why we play tabletop games! We lean toward lighter or "family weight" games, but will occasionally tackle heavier games. Our "sweet spot" is games that are easy to learn, but tricky play really well. (Quite often we do not play well! LOL)
I'm not a professional board game content creator. We don't get free games from publishers. I don't do paid promotions. I do NOT aspire to be a professional content creator. I just want to have some fun playing games & hang out here with you talking about them!

EP 109 First Plays of Two Classics and One Crowdfunding
One weekend, we just played a bunch of new-to-us games, including one beautiful recently-delivered crowdfunded game, and two games that are considered classics. But, what makes a game a classic? Let me know in comments!

EP 81 Finally Wins, Games, and Expansions That Hit the Table
I enjoy Azul, and I'm happy to play any iteration of it and be reminded of the rules, but I only own the Queen's Garden version, which I've heard is the most complex. I do really like the puzzle of that particular game. And Sagrada is a well-worn favorite, one of the first games I bought getting into the hobby. I play it on the app, and I still welcome it at game night every time it's suggested.
It's really easy to see why these 2 games are classics---even though their puzzle-y gameplay isn't easy!😆 Thanks for watching and commenting!
Especially BECAUSE the industry moves so fast now, a minimum of 10 years should elapse before "modern classic" is declared.
It bothers me that games can go in and out of print within a year or 2. I do think the word "classic" is used too lightly. But I sometimes wonder if some potential classics go out of print before they've had a chance to gain a substantial audience🤷♀️
Yay! Fun video 🎉 we really like Azul in BGA and have the mini version. Sagrada looks nice too but we’ve not played it yet. Mycelia looks gorgeous! We’ve had it on the wishlist for a while now, maybe one day. We love mushrooms in nature and on our plates 😅 Enjoy your break 😊
Oh, I didn't know that there was a mini-version of Azul! Is the mini the same as the one I have, or is it one of the other versions of Azul? It was really a weekend for beautiful games! All three games are very pretty in different ways!
@@teaNgamesThe one we have is a mini version of the base game, and there is also a mini Summer Pavilion edition. It’s good as it’s travel sized and plays the same way ☺️
Appreciate this explanation of these three. Well, I LOVE Sagrada already. It's our most played!
Thanks! Sagrada is both simple & complex---and it's so easy to get to the table! We're getting a lot of play from it!🎲
For Mycelia - will the cards still fit in the organizer if they're sleeved? The game looks very cool! And enjoy your break!
I don't know if they'll still fit; it may depend on how snug the sleeves fit!🤞I really *hope* they'll fit!🤞
I've now tested it out! The cards take the same size sleeves as Terraforming Mars, so I put some TM sleeved cards into the space for the Mycelia cards & they fit!🎉 Thanks for nudging me to test this out before buying sleeves😁
We actually had a friend over to play games for the first time in years. We even played a classic (?) game for the first time in Splendor. We have seen it constantly in stores, but never played it and had a whale of a time. We also played Star Flux a few times and I won twice by accident because someone accidentally played cards that just allowed me to win. And while I didn't do much to earn it, a victory is a victory. Enjoy your time away! Good to recharge those batteries every now and again!
Splendor is so much fun! I love those chunky gem tokens! I usually don't win, but gameplay is just so satisfying! That's one thing all classic games have: a really satisfying game experience! (BTW, it's easy to accidentally win with Fluxx...the whole game is kinda like an ongoing accident🤣 I've also accidentally lost!🤣)
@teaNgames I loved the ever changing rules and the chaos!
Sagrada is our top played game and my partner's #1! We have all the expansions for it too which just adds even more variability and replayability. Some of the expansion modules can help with the luck mitigation as well, but we have slowly come to terms with knowing that we won't always be able to complete our window as perfectly as we'd like. I think there is some appeal in that though, because it's like "maybe next time I'll get it!" 😄
I think that's one of the reasons I'm OK with luck in a game; it helps level the play for all players & it encourages replays! Because of luck I'll always think that I'll do better next time!😉
Have a good break!
Thanks! And thanks for watching!🎉
We just got final girl too! Looking forward to play it (it’s more a Joana’s thing than Christian’s, but we will both try!) We got the cabin one, but if we like it, we’ll get the North Pole too!, thanks for another great video 🥰
Good luck with Final Girl!
Oh nice, we are going to try that idea of not including fields in Carcassonne! We loved the game so much that we went for the Big Box! 😭 ahah We have some of the games in this section of the list that we still need to try! With Robinson Crusoe and the Ryan Laukat ones high in our wishlist 🤩 Great top 10 🥳What an adventure this top 50 was! Ahah We loved that you shared it with us, Thank you! 🥰
Thanks so much for watching and commenting on my unusual Top 10! There's so many good games I haven't played yet!
Congrats on the anniversary! Enjoy watching each of your videos!!!
Glad you're enjoying them! All of the Top 50 are collected in a playlist so you can find them easily! Thanks for watching!
Nice list! Final girl... I know it's a good game but something keeps me from buying it... Skulls of Sedlec, I love button shy games, but just like you the theme made me doubt until now. You think you will buy the expansions? My favourite spooky game: The Bloody Inn and its expansion The Carnies 👌👀
I've heard good things about The Bloody Inn---it's on a lot of Halloween lists! I think I might pick up some expansions for Skulls of Sedlec because additional card types would add in some nifty new challenges! The concept really lends itself to expansions! We do love variability in games!
Ummmm, your style is AMAZING. And I LOVE that you don't see most of these in top tens. So well done!!
Well, it's a very personal list---a lot of professional content creators play a lot more games than I do and they sometimes try to aim for an all-time greatest list. There's just so many classic games I haven't played my list had to be personal and quirky! Thanks for watching and commenting!
Final Girl shouldn't take you that long to play. Also, North Pole is the same difficulty level as the other ones. Where did you hear it was easier? BTW - I love tea as well and I really like that you start each episode talking about your mug if tea. It makes me want to put the kettle on!
I don't recall specifically, but I browsed around and found quite a few people ranking Final Girl boxes easiest to hardest. There does seem to be a concensus that some boxes are easier and some are more difficult. As for how long it takes to play...I haven't timed myself, but it feels like it goes on forever😆
I tried Werewolf over a decade ago. I had never done a social deduction game and it was at a New Years Eve party where I knew exactly 2 people and everyone else was a stranger. I get told that we are playing Werewolf and there is a group of 20 people and someone is running the game. There are no time limits to anything and it was brutal! I don't think I vibe with social deduction, especially with people I don't know. I remember there were two games and both times I was just a humble villager and no one was killing me or whenever they tried I was randomly saved by another player unbeknownst to me. So I sat in this circle for hours, my two pals killed way earlier and I was in the final 5 both times. It was just so long, tedious, and unpleasant. I feel like the way you did it, with a smaller group of people you know, is perhaps a better way. I'm glad you had a good time and have been enjoying some spooky gaming! I always love hearing what you have been getting up to each week!
I really think the app helped tremendously running the game! Also all the versions of Werewolf I've seen have a max player count of either 7 or 10. Your Werewolf experience was probably made worse by having too many players---and no timer for the discussion! I think the game is probably going to be more fun with people you know. And it's really pretty short when you have the right player count! I don't think it'd be as much fun if it went on for a long time. I'm sorry you had such a bad experience with it😕
@@teaNgames people also created some custom roles and there were 4 or 5 werewolves each game. Oy it was long
@JymmiF Wow😱
My tea today is an organic black Chai with a splash of egg nog. Costco started stocking egg nog, so I started buying it :P I'm trying real hard to not buy Final Girl. I don't really play Solo games, and the ones I do own I feel like I should play more. Bullet, Paperback Adventures, and Kinfire Delve are all just sitting on my shelf waiting for me to come back to them. Eventually.
Good picks there, Bullet is one of my favs!!
That tea & eggnog combo sounds delish😋 I'll have to try a splash of eggnog in my tea! I, too, have a bunch of solo games that seldom get played😕 Button Shy solo games are the ones most likely for me to play because they're so small there's hardly any setup & they play very fast. I'm really not crazy about the amount of setup for Final Girl or how long it takes to play🙄
I was resistant to Final Girl for the longest time because the theme is not for me (I'm a big scaredy cat! LOL). I love solo gaming though so it stayed on my radar and finally I was drawn in by the Krampus theme. I enjoyed my first play despite losing terribly. 😅I don't think I'll ever get all the feature films but I think it will be one I come back to at least every holiday season.
I'm the same way! I don't like being afraid so I don't seek out scary movies, but I did eventually try it and enjoyed the rhythm even though I lost terribly.
I'm considering getting the North Pole themed Final Girl because I like seasonal games, but mostly because it's supposed to be one of the easier ones. Final Girl is really long and hard (for me) so I think both the play time and difficulty of it will keep me from getting most of them. Losing most games & taking a long time doing it just makes me feel like I've wasted an afternoon. I like the system, but the effort feels too futile to play often. It may end up relegated to Halloween & Christmas (if I get the Christmas themed one).
The rhythm of the game is very compelling! I sort of forgot about the whole slasher theme & just worked the mechanics as a puzzle. It's very difficult for me to win and I feel like the game just drags out too long, especially for a (nearly inevitable) loss!🙄
@@teaNgames I'm with you! It also doesn't help that I have terrible dice rolling luck!
If ever there was a game that needed loaded dice, it's Final Girl!😆
11:46 - that's what my husband said, cut to him playing Final Girl non-stop... bought series 1 & 2... and now LOVES solos! Which is good bc he's retired and I work. He's so happy he doesn't have to wait for me to get his game on!!
Solo games are having a moment right now, so it's a good time for him to get into solo gaming! I think what's going to keep me from getting all the Final Girl stuff isn't just seldom playing solo; it's that the game, even an easier scenario on the easiest level, is still too hard to win for me!😆 But I am considering getting the Christmas one at the North Pole because in lists it's usually considered one of the easier ones, and I do like seasonal games! I think most of the Final Girl boxes are going to be really frustrating for me; I'm sooo not the Final Girl🤣
Forest Shuffle is great on BGA. I keep seeing folks talking about Above and Below. Really need to check this one out! I *adore* Sea Salt & Paper - definitely have to get the expansion still. I've only seen the 4 mermaid win once on BGA. I just started playing Robinson Crusoe on Tabletop Simulator and it's a harsh game! Very fun, but very punishing. I love a lot of the games on your list and you've got TWO Ryan Laukat games on your top 10. Clearly I need to check his stuff out! *cries* I want Firefly SO BADLY!! But the KS came out before I got into board games (but I've been in love with the IP for ages). I still hope to get it some day. And it was canceled WAY too soon. Stupid Fox. I love Terraforming Mars Area Expedition. The original TM is similar enough I think I know what I'm doing, but different enough that I never really do and lose every time I try to play it.
The base game of Firefly, and the 2 big expansions (Kalidasa & Blue Sun) are still available! You could get the base game & see if you like it, then add on expansions a little at a time (less sticker-shock😆) I should probably try out the digital version of Forest Shuffle---scoring that game is hard IRL. I love the actual cards, but I'd also love automated scoring😆🌳
@@teaNgames I can't compare it to the physical copy, but Forest Shuffle is really good on BGA. I can definitely see how scoring would be rough when the actual game!
Well I thought I commented on this earlier today at work but it must not have posted. Another great list, Susan. Ie's always interesting to see games I've never heard of before on people's lists. I also have an idea to get together a group of small content creators to help each other grow. Let me know if you are interested. I would love to do a small content creator panel of sorts that we could all share out and prompt each other. If interested I will send you me email address. We are live streaming some game play this Wednesday.
Every once in a while RUclips gets flaky with comments🙄 Glad you came back to re-comment! I'm certainly up for supporting other small content creators! I think we're connected on Discord --- message me there & we can chat about your idea!
The scramble board is awesome! I was wondering, have you played Agricola or Caverna? I know you have Agricola: All Creatures Big and Small. Just curious if you've played the original. Agricola's not at all wide open like Fields of Arle, but Caverna is closer to that in a way. - Jayne (ps. Jen hooted when you announced Bunny Kingdom!)
We haven't played the full version of Agricola, only the 2-player version...and we haven't played any version of Caverna! I'd love to play Bunny Kingdom with you two! Bunnies rule!🐇🐰
@@teaNgames We'd love to play with you two as well! And bunnies do rule! There is something calming about the bunny armies in that game.
Great list! We were also huge firefly fans and so sad when it was cancelled!
Browncoats forever! The bracelet I'm wearing says "You can't take the sky from me"🙂 Good to meet another Firefly fan!
Hey, new subscriber here! I also love tea and board games. My tea today was "velvety vanilla" from Tea Desire. Thanks for sharing your favourite games, I love your energy! I'm looking forward to watching your backlog of videos!
Thanks for watching---and subscribing! That vanilla tea sounds tummy!😋🫖 Glad you're enjoying the tea---and games!🎉
We love Terraforming Mars in our house. I think it is the game we have played most often and is probably the game that my husband requests the most. I hope you are able to table it soon and you let us know how it goes in a video. If you don't have any double-layer played boards, just watch your sleeves or you'll be scooting those little cubes all over the place! I'm very intrigued by Above and Below. I saw the Haunted version on Gamefound and was curious about it. Did you end up backing it?
I did back the Haunted Above and Below---because we do enjoy Above and Below so much! I've been dithering over various acrylic overlays for the Terraforming Mars player boards, but haven't decided which to get, or whether I should just wait & try to get double-layered cardboard mats🤷♀️ We were supposed to play TM this past weekend, but the start time for the game day kept getting pushed back, until it was just a couple of hours squeezed in between other things people were doing, so Mars has not been terraformed yet!
@@teaNgames fingers crossed for next time! Definitely not a game to try and cram in.
Yay! We have been enjoying these videos :) Really cool idea regarding Scrabble! Maybe one day when we have a dedicated spare table we can set up a game to keep going as we go about our day. It could work quite well with other games too I'd think, like Boop! 🐈 Interesting to learn Ugly Gryphon Inn can be quite a table hog; It's one we've been wanting to get for a while but I think we'll have to go the route of PnP with it. I wonder if it could work well at 70% scale so it'd take up less space 🤔(Something I saw folks mentioning over on the Button Shy discord - it'll be fun to try!) That Co-Op train game too looks nice, we'd not heard of this one before! Thanks for another great video and for making our wishlist of games ever larger 😅
You might have an easier time finding Switch and Signal in Europe than us folks in America! We really enjoy the wall Scrabble board. I sometimes wish we had a game table so we could have an ongoing game inside the table and then play another game on the top. I wish someone would invent a wall version of campaign games🤣 That's the only way some of those games would get played!🤣
It's not anticlimactic! I am at the edge of my seat watching your list! I'm glad it's not like the typical top ten lists. I really like your take on things 👍
Well the list is sort of like other Top lists in that I used PubMeeple for the rankings, but I have such unusual? scattershot? quirky? tastes that it was bound to come out different! Also, professional content creators play a lot more games than I do, so a lot of good games *couldn't* make my list because I haven't (yet?) played them!
I would play any of these games with you, Susan. Great lisst!
The Top 10 surprised me a bit! I'd love to play any of these games with you....or any game! I wish we lived closer together---there's a lot of overlap in the games you and Alicia like & the games Robert and I like (though this Top 50 are my fave, rather than Robert's).
I figured out a logical method of working Milestones into Terraforming Mars solo. I haven't yet figured out how to incorporate Awards.
I play the solo game on the app, so there's no way to add in Milestones & Awards, but one of the new expansions (which I didn't get) is an Automata, which is a new way to play solo. I don't know if it allows Milestones and Awards, but if you play the physical game solo then it might be worth checking into!
Another good list! I was happy to see Spaceshipped on the list! - Jayne
Spaceshipped is so satisfying! I was pleasantly surprised that it turned up so high on the list!
"The only thing I don't like about Herbacious is that among the herbs they do not have Basil, which makes no sense whatsoever to me" 😂😂😂 these kind of remarks make Tea and Games unique! ✨👌
Not so unique...Dwayne, over at Blackboard Gaming, has also complained about the lack of basil on Herbaceous😆 Fortunately I grow basil in real life so I don't have to depend on the game for basil🤣
Great List! We love Fossilis, Cartographers, Creature Comforts, etc... We're obviously behind on our watching but working on catching up!
Doing this list --- making the videos for it --- took a lot longer than I thought it would! It's eaten up most of October. But it's fun looking at such a random assortment of games😆
@@teaNgames Yeah these top lists are a lot of work. We do our top 100 every couple of years and it takes sooooo long. We always start out ok but eventually slow down due to life reasons.
I like Scrabble a lot. I love Quiddler. I've been waiting to get Gloom In Space to the table for years. Horrified is great.
Agree, agree, agree! Gloom in Space can be played with just 2 players...you just need to find someone to subject to the hilarious horrors of space🤣
Hehe, yes, I was going to say "You like your train games!" Not surprised Gloom appeared so often. You wouldn't have so many variations and the big box if you didn't love it! I have Horrified American Monsters, which I really like. I got it used pretty inexpensively, mostly to see how I felt about it. So now I need to get Universal Monsters too! Bunny Kingdom is great on BGA - I suspect it's even better in person. Another one I've got. I like Welcome to... a lot! Can't wait to see your top 10!
What is it about train games?😆 So many people like train games that it's almost its own subgenre of board games! Bunny Kingdom is so good! I've never played it on BGA (but I rarely play BGA). I wish there was some way of combining American Monsters & Universal Monsters! I think some of the later Horrifieds can be combined(??) but not the first two!
It has been a delight to watch your Evacuation journey! I’m so glad you enjoyed it😊
I'm glad you enjoyed the video! We really enjoyed the game---which was a bit of a surprise & a relief!😆
Space Explorers is one I'm definitely interested in checking out! I have Let's Go! to Japan and it's one of my top 10 games (just retail version). The artwork is so beautiful and the text is really cool! I picked up an older version of TTR Europe, but haven't had a chance to play it yet. I got to play Moonrakers at 3P at my FLGS recently and it was tons of fun!
Oh, wow! You've really been hitting some fun games! I'm so glad!🎉
I really need to give Ugly Gryphon Inn a go. I actually played A Gentle Rain just yesterday. Work has been so busy and I needed a quick break from my screen so I played 2 games and then got back to it. It was nicety just have a calm reset. And I think you're crushing it! No discombobulation noticed on my end. 🙂
Thank you! Ugly Gryphon Inn is a lot of fun. The cards are just so entertaining 🤣 A Gentle Rain is just pleasant that I hardly care whether I'm scoring well or not!🪷
@@teaNgames yeah I often forget the score component
I like Herbaceous a lot - although as a solo game, I like Floriferous better. I haven't gotten to try any of the other games on your 40-31 list.
A favorite games list is always so subjective. I know there's a lot of good games that should *probably* be somewhere on my list, but I haven't played them! I have a long list of classic games I haven't yet played! I bet a lot of them are on your favorites list!
@@teaNgames I'm actually fairly new to the board game hobby - just got heavily into it this past January. Before that, I'd play a couple of games a year but didn't have much of a collection. It's been fun exploring new games!
@@AeronwyD There's a lot to explore! (Too much, really🤣)
Another good list. Love seeing a classic game, Scrabble, make it high on a list. I love the table presence of Life of Amazonia, but I I only play solo and am not a fan of the solo mode. I added Ugly Gryphon Inn to my KS pledge of A Nice Cuppa (tea themed button shy game coming) recently. I got Horrified American Monsters really cheap a couple years ago. I played it once solo. Interesting game. Not sure if it's for me or not. Have to play it again. Welcome To was our first modern flip and write. Still a good one. It's my #3 flip-n-write (Cartographers and Pioneer Rails are #1/#2 for me). I'm very intrigued by Gentle Rain.
Although there's scoring in A Gentle Rain, I'd almost categorize it as an activity rather than a game! I wish I had more classic games like Scrabble in my Top 50, but a lot of them get nudged lower by newer games, though I don't necessarily think newer games are better. The list is definitely influenced by how often we play a game as well as how much we like it. And well-loved games aren't always the most frequently played🤷♀️ But, with that Scrabble board on the wall, it's always being played!🎉
@@teaNgames I think it's very tough to rank classic games against modern games. I mean I have a tough enough time ranking games I only play solo v. with my wife and small box games v. bigger box games.
Sleeping Gods is one of my favorite games these days (I've only played it solo though). Persuit of Happiness is one that I *really* want to try! "The guy I dated, I just dated for his resources" - had me cracking up! Congratulations on 100 episodes!
Thank you! We really need to get Sleeping Gods back to the table! Pursuit of Happiness may be the only game with strategic dating🤣 And if you date a bunch of people you get stress/unhappiness, so it's very thematic! I really like all the hobbies and activities in the games!
Love Cafe Baras. I think you may have gotten a little bump in viewers because someone mentioned your channel last week on Jamey Stegmaier's weekly live cast on the Stonemaier Games page. I believe he subscribed while doing his live stream. =
Oh, wow! I had no idea! I don't usually watch many livestreams; I can't even keep up with all my usual subscriptions😆 Thanks for letting me know! And thanks for watching!
Ahah yes we were one of those that panicked regarding the Evacuation game 😅 Cool to hear the Zapotec strategy worked! Cafe Baras is so cute! Ours is on the way 🎉
I'm looking forward to hearing what you think of Cafe Baras. After playing a few games it's trickier than I'd initially thought. You have to balance out getting points with getting regulars...while keeping an eye on what other players are doing!
That whole group of games, Creature Comforts, Cafe Baras, just look so cute and cozy! Really want to play them at some point. When it comes to sleeving cards, do you have any recommendations? I want to sleeve Terraforming Mars because it is the game that we have played the most and is showing some signs of wear. Is there a specific brand or do you look for sleeves specific to the game? I've not sleeved a game before, so not sure if there is a right or wrong way to go about it.
KTBG's games are so good & cute that I'm tempted to get Diced Veggies & Maki Master to go with Cafe Baras!🤣 As for sleeves... I rarely sleeve cards, but I use Mayday Games sleeves. They have a ton of sizes & often have packs for specific games. I don't often sleeve games, but that's where I look first. I don't think there's any right way or wrong way, or better way🤷♀️ Apparently "double-sleeving" is a thing, but I don't know why...In 5 yrs I've only had 1 sleeve split & that was in a game we just played to death.
@@teaNgames yeah I don't think I've gotten to the double sleeve stage. But I will check out Mayday. Thank you!
You're rocking the best earings Susan (tea pot and a tea cup!) And we always love your T-shirts! We agree with you when you said that games should be good on their own without the expansion. We can get the expansion if it makes it better, but only if the base game is already good! A nice selection of games! Some more space ones for us to check out too! Moonrakers is really appealing for us but we held off because you had previously mentioned it's not that great at 2-players; but a new one from them recently made our radar - Moonrollers! We love dice 🤩so I hope this will play good at two. I didn't expect that Ticket to Ride to be so huge! Really cool though - we've yet to get the Europe version so if we get some more games in and decide we really like the game, maybe we will consider this one day (Or even hold out for the 20th anniversary) 🤣
You've got good eyes! I didn't expect those earrings to show up very well on camera! Because the Ticket to Ride Europe that I have is the anniversary edition, I'm not sure if the whole thing is bigger or if it's just got deluxe components🤷♀️ You might want to look around online for a comparison of the anniversary edition and the regular Ticket to Ride Europe🚂🚃🛤
Interesting choices! Wonderful to see 'the Captain is Dead'... Did you try the app? I like the way they respected the art in this app. In fact the app itself is a piece of art 🙂
No, I didn't know about the app! Thanks for telling me!
Many more great games on this part of the list: Love me some Parks, Let's Go To Japan, New York Zoo, TtR (all of them). SpaceShipped just hasn't hit for me.
A lot of good mid-weight games in the middle of the list! I haven't yet tried FantasyForm, the game based on Spaceshipped, but some changes have been made, so it might be a better fit for people who don't click with Spaceshipped! I'm glad you're enjoying the list. A lot of good games coming up in the next sections of the list!🎉
@@teaNgames yeah I hope we can do our 5 and dime this week for the month of September. Im still fighting this cough and my wife now is not feeling good. Finger crossed we can get back to filming and going live.
@Ian-R-Wilz I hope ya'll get to feeling better soon! Just take it easy. We'll all still be here when you get back to filming!
Love Creature Comforts, Tenpenny Parks, and Cartographers. We just learned Fossilis the other night.
Both Tenpenny Parks and Fossilis appeal to the little kid inside me😁 Theme park & pretend digging up dinosaur bones!🎉😄 But there's solid strategy in the games, too!
Canopy Evergreen looks so good! We still need to get the first one, so I wonder which one of the two would be best to get if you could choose just one. The inside boxes (inserts) are a great idea! Hopefully more publishers will start doing that. And by the way, the numbered boxes were in numerical number! It was when you took one out to show how small they were and put it back in that they got out of order Ahah Evacuation looks like a good game! The idea of it, the theme and mission and actions look cool! We were waiting for your review actually to see what you would say about it. It was on our “to wait and see” but now it is on our wishlist! Ahah We will keep an eye out for a discount sale for it though. We watch your games before bed, and leave it to comment on the following day… only to be reminded that we forgot to comment when you release a new one! 😭🤣
The original Canopy is designed for 2 players and is definitely a small box game. I think I might prioritize that if your usual player count is 2. They're both good games! The original Canopy is very much a push-your-luck kind of card game, and Canopy Evergreen has other mechanisms that mitigate that🤷♀️
"A cure for the 'beige game'..." made me burst out laughing.
It would definitely make the short list of my most colorful games!😆 Thanks for watching (& laughing)!🤣
i love your channel!! i think you are great!! keep on doing what you are doing!! ✌️❤
Thanks you so much! Glad you found my channel & are enjoying it🎉 Thanks for watching!
I love your origin story! You problem-solving and being brave has brought more joy to the world! 👏
Thank you so much❣️
