You should check Leprosy by Death, Death is the first Death Metal band (no I don't count Possessed), and Leprosy is their best album from their old era in my opinion.
If you guys think this is heavy then Litsen to ashes of the wake by lamb of god
Live in Texas or Milton Keynes are both fire live shows
*Dimebag Darrell starts god-tier solo* Dude on Left: Now is a great time to start yapping -_____-
He's wrong about the revolving door of members. There were a couple of incarnations of the band between 2007 and 2017 that featured only Billy Corgan with Jimmy Chamberlain occasionally, but they now feature all the original members except for D'arcy
Corey’s dreads used to be real. They got fucked up bad from the mask though.
Y'all need to shut the f up and actually listen to the music & lyrics instead of talking over them. Pause the track before you speak.
Please react to Jerry's solo stuff !! Boggy Depot (1998) see's Jerry explore a softer bluesy side, and has a wide variety of artists who play on the record. Degradation Trip Volumes 1 & 2 (2002) is "The meanest thing I've done since Dirt" (March 2000 quote from Jerry), and is arguably the darkest thing Jerry's ever recorded (especially the lyrics and backstory behind the album) Brighten (2021) see's Jerry take a country turn to his music I Want Blood (2024) is quite a bit like Alice, but also is different in the best ways possible.
I won this from a contest at school when it first was released, I was 13 at the time. This is one of the best albums ever. It is one of the few things i listen to still that isn't metal.
Weird fishes is the best song. So powerful on so many levels. Very intricate. ❤❤❤
Gotta react to their Live in Rio show
Coming back here to say 🗣️🗣️🗣️ Listen to STEREOLAB. Dots and Loops is an unbelievable album
A masterpiece of an album...
Regards from Glasgow, Scotland. I've watched a few of your reviews, that kid camera right gets it for this music. I know because at 25:49 when this song came on in my CD player in 1996, that was my EXACT reaction. That song is an understated masterpiece on that record, you only get it if you get it. That kid gets it. Whether you make it a video or not kid, you should get Machina I & II (the enemies of music) pretty sure you'll dig it. And for you own spins, The Smashing Pumpkins did an instrumental demo of the album that Mellon Collie (plus B-sides) would become, definitely worth digging out on YT, it's called "The Gravity Demo's" - you are welcome, enjoy!
Hey yall are alright. Try FAR BEYOND DRIVEN.
As everyone has said, Mad Season live at the moor reaction
Ironic. That type of music is perfect for nerds who get annoyed by people like you.
In Spit it out he says, "where you gonna be in the next 5 years?" but at the 25th anniversary concert he says, "Where you gonna be in the next 25 years?"
23:00 you can hear Shawn Crahan or Clown in the background he sounds like a wolf growling and i love it!
All hope is gone please
Mortician next??
12:48 that’s Chelsea Dagger btw :)
So…kids….after one has been doing a drug like heroin for so long you no longer get high from it but you have to keep taking it or else you will get sick. The fact that you guys are so surprised at Layne’s appearance tells me that you haven’t been around people who are on hard drugs so you don’t know that at this point one does better high than in withdrawal. I’m glad you don’t have a lot of experience seeing people in the thralls of addiction. Keep it that way please. This was six years before he died so his decline was apparent but he definitely got so so so much worse. He weighed 86 lbs at death.
29:48 I think I started levitating 💀
Chris Cornell, obviously a unique and tragic talent, but shoutouts to Ben, Matt, and Kim who all add so much to the sound of the band and these amazing songs.
Love the reaction can’t wait for Iowa
booooo no Purity
Why is bro busting a nut for clickbait
Watch or react to the making of thriller.
Pretty dope and pretty cool are totally unacceptable descriptions
Was in 8th grade when this dropped I automatically knew this was a special album at 13 years old!! Would rock the cassette tape on my Sony Walkman! IYKYK
I listened it 3rd time, but tis time hits me to like.
Dude in the middle looks like he played as a touring member of the Talking Heads for one year when he was 17, got bit by a vampire, and then became a professional hitman, but never lost his fashion sense from back in the 80s. He might have read American Psycho and got the wrong idea.
This album was the soundtrack for us back in high school when it first came out Ps, listen to it on acid for full effect
The pink-hoodie kid with the religious hang-ups is just adorable. 😂. Some day, he will understand.
Phil Anselmo, the vocalists and lyricists, is from New Orleans fella. Darrell and Vinnie were from Pantego, Texas, sons of a Country music musician, and bassist, Rex is from Texas.
So, Dimebag is a guitar god. R.I.P
Great reaction lads I’m from England, I’ve been a Alice in chains fan since I was 12 I’m 41 now I’ve got 2 tattoos of the logo and would lyrics thank you
Nah. Need to do the next album- Far Beyond Driven. Next step in heaviness
I think you guys would like AC/DC with Bon Scott.
JOEY?? SECOND best drummer ever ?? nahh he is the best
"Black Sabbath must have been a massive inspiritation to Alice in Chains". Black Sabbath was a massive inspiritation to everyone!
1. jim wasnt photoshoped it was chris fehn( long nose) there drummer tech satone was in the photo first hes looking straight, chris is looking sideways because that was from a photo in front of the water tower 4:54 2. thats josh brainerd/gnar (black mask) in that photo and he left the band obviously and to replace that spot was jim if u look closer jims hair was the only thing photoshoped on josh 4:57 3. thats kegs u hear 4:13 4. Thats mick there guitarist 4:28 5. Corey used to tie his hair in rope and pull them through the mask which is call the crash test dummy and he stopped because it was start to melt on his face and he shaved his head and thats when the second mask came(ghost glow) then he took his hair that he tied and glued it to the second mask 4:10 6. paul passed in 5/24/2010 from heart failure from a drug overdose for more closure 5:10 7.joey passed 7/26/2021 in his sleep, passed peacefully 5:36 8. jack Osborne favorite band was slipknot thats why they had opportunities to tour and thats how they blew up 9:12
I´m 37... this came out when I was like 13? Someone played the album to me and I was the same as you guys: "WTF???? But I love it"
12:15 well about that...
Omg shut up and Listen
51:45 bro takin a Waz on the side of the frame in a reaction video is Legendary!! Metal AF! 😂
The poetry guy was tyler the creator lol
This is the greatest metal album ever, point blank period. I swear they sprinkled crack in these tracks, you never get tired of them.
The song closer was meant to convey a man saying I'm a flawed person, but I'm here if you want me. All Trent's songs have a double meaning because his songs tell a story song by song. Alot of artists don't do that anymore. Him and Marilyn Manson were actually friends starting out BTW. Notice in the song closer, he says "help me" a bunch of times. Its to high light the mental struggle he was going through. Most people can't listen to closer and get PASSED the lyrics because their just taking it at face value and not Really listening to what he saying on a deeper level. None of the band members wanted to help Trent in the making of closer so what you hear is ALL him. Its a complex piece that he recorded one piece at a time and the over had to overlay the instruments one at a time. The Sharon Tate murder happened decades earlier by the time he was recording there. Trent is a musical genius to this day, has written songs for OTHER popular artists to sing and they ended up hitting it big because of him, and he's actually an amazing family man and a good guy! Lol. His songs have absolutely been in lots of movies for his unique sound. He doesn't even acknowledge all his accolades.
