I'm trying to see if hybrid cars will dominate EV's in future and will EV's disappear or just become prominent in the micro-car market? Are hybrid cars net-zero standards compliant? Are there any drawbacks with hybrid cars that makes ICE and EV's a better option? To me it feels like Hybrids (definitely NOT plug-in's) will rule the Net Zero drive.

The factories making internal combustion engine cars in China and Europe will continue to work, producing for export to the remaining markets. Toyota will face cutthroat competition in Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Hydrogen may have a role in the economy of the future, but not for cars. Hydrogen car has the classic chicken and egg problem: no refueling stations, no one buys the car; no large number of cars, no one invests to build those stations. Does any European country have billions and billions of euros to burn?

This is out of reality. BEV biased bsht. Surging BEV demand is just a dream. There will be only forced mild demand increase. And people will get crazy against forcing EVs.
