    I notice your using link and haltech can components on the link ecu. I still can get my link ecu to transmit to my haltech ic7 dash

      @ yeah I am. Someone suggested to me can high and can low are opposite between link and haltech and I may need to switch these in the can connector at the IC7. I haven’t seen this in any haltech or link documentation

    how is the transmission holding up? have you done any drag racing with it? I am getting parts together to do a 8hp swap in my 68 camaro making 900whp. Use the car daily, road race it, autocross, and some drag racing. leaning towards a 8hp90 but I know these are fairly underrated as well.

      Transmission is holding up well. The 90 would be great but the 70 is still very strong. I havent drag raced the car at a prept tack with drag radials so i cant comment on that sorry.

    Love my Audi rs3 for all around use. Straight away corners from a dig! But will forever miss my 850 hp 2j Supra. Supra was monster from a roll ! Both will go down in the history books as the best engines! Both in top 5 in my opinion.

    I watched your video and it looks like you installed the 2jz Sfi Flexplate backwards. I noticed it says “engine side” toward the transmission. You had no issues with that?

      Im not too sure if its wrong but all i would say is follow the instructions and do it correct. Wouldnt follow me if ive done it wrong. No issues on my end at all.

      There was a bit more left in the turbo, so with more boost and ethanol, you should be able to get close to 475 - 500hp. all depends on the next limit of the setup.

      No i dont think so my friend. And this is a very expensive TCU just to replace a stock one

      @@Motorsporttuningsolutions1 Thanks for the reply. I will hopefully be acquiring an RX8 with 5.3 V8 and 8HP70 later this month so been doing some research. It has paddles along with a BMW gear shifter, the BMW shifter looks a bit out of place though so thinking about the DCT shifter.

      Torque is the limiting factor. You can go well over 1000 whp and be okay but over 1000 nm of torque will get hairy

      Power is holding at 850wp, max torque for these boxes in stock form is around 1200nm

    Is 8HP70 different than the Mopar variants. On the Hellcats we have to use th HP80 because the 70 variants stock aren't strong enough. Was the transmission rebuilt with stronger internals?

    Hello sir. 3.2L V6, 9.0-9.5 CR, cammed, 270 cfm heads, 18 psi, 8k rpm, 565 all-wheel hp goal (700 crank hp). 5-speed manual street car, with the occasional drag race.       Thats really impressive. How high do you rev the engine and do you have a speed sensor on the turbo? I would think the motor have to have peak power at 7500-8500rpm and the turbo to be spining at about 135k rpm to make that power.

    Having short gears, as I always said, reduces drastically turbo lag. The proper gearbox is KEY to a good car.

    Confused at 6:30 and 11:03..630- said MAP? For my paddles and sequential. Next at 1103 are separate loose wires you Said are for paddles and sequential. Hmmm. So thru my haze; can I use the loomed portion (6:30) to the sequential , and the loose (11:03) straight to my paddles? Or what is going on haha
