S15 2JZ gets the upgrades
Finalising the EGT thermocouple installation with back pressure sensor, heat wrapping the exhaust manifold and installing knock sensor upgrades. Precision 6266 is back from the rebuild.

Great work as always! Curious if you ever plan to ceramic coat the manifold/exhaust components vs wrapping?

Yea I would definitely love to ceramic coat everything but I’m just on the fence about coatings. Basically, I wouldn’t be game to touch a turbine housing that’s been ceramic coated with my bare hands, nor a dump pipe or manifold. But I sure can touch all those parts if they are wrapped and turbo beanie etc. I think that is the decider for me. Not saying they don’t work to a certain point, just not as extreme as the blankets or wrap.
I would love to do both tbh.
