i was thinking of a faster button-tapping method for buttons. What if you could hold a button down, pressing it activates the first button press, then you can hold your finger on the screen and swipe off the button and swiftly pass back over the button with the same finger for rapid-fire input

Great stuff man, but how is the performance? Does anyone manage to run smoothly on an low/mid end cellphone? I heard that Godot 4 is kinda bad for Android users now, but I could be wrong, or it's my phone that's slow, idk

For newer viewers trying out this tutorial, if the vertex code doesn't work, then enable flip_faces to true on the mesh instance, and replace the POSITION = vec4(VERTEX, 1.0) with POSITION = vec4(VERTEX, 0.0). I don't know why it works, but it does. Thank you to @AnatolBogun for the help.

Can't you implement the 3D shader, as is, with a canvas layer like you did with 2D? Why is that done differently?
