The LCD screen is water resistant you can ride it in the rain that piece of plastic isn't going to help anything. It's only put on there so the screen doesn't get scratched during shipping

Guy, I love your channel. Watching your rides has encouraged me and the wife to purchase two new ebikes. We're looking forward to camping in the RV and taking the bikes with us. I do have one question: What are you using for communication so cool that you both can talk as you ride.

Do you have to peddle all the time or can you use the throttle only if you want. I know batttery wouldn't last as long with out the pedal assist.

It's cook but maybe for average people. No seat adjustment.

From all the research I’ve done (260 lbs), I’m going to save a little and get the Kinect XR ($270 on Amazon). Unfortunately, for us bigger guys, you have to spend more to get the suspension we need. I definitely won’t be getting the Zoom. The Suntour doesn’t look like it’s for heavier riders, either. Thanks for your perspective.

You didn’t read the instructions about the speed being regulated at first for training purposes so a new rider doesn’t kill themselves. Riding a tricycle, electric or not requires a different mindset when riding. After 4-5 miles you get the hang of it. My Lectric trikes for my wife and myself came last august. I’ve put a couple hundred miles on mine and find it absolutely wonderful. My wife doesn’t have a problem either. The bike will go at 13.7 to 13.8 all the time if you adjust the computer in the instructions. I have had zero problems other than a flat tire caused by a stone that was shaped like a dagger. Glad my car or truck didn’t find that rock first. My wife and I are in our mid 70’s and we are not light weight folks either. We love our Lectric Trikes and so glad that we purchased them. Tell your mother to get out on it and get use to it. Need to stay out of gutters with just one rear wheel. We have never tipped over but a deep gutter will give you the feeling that you might tip. Never have yet. We have ridden 22 miles with no pedaling, battery only, and still had a good deal of battery in reserve. I have had my trike up to 25-26 miles an hour downhill. That’s a little faster than I really care to go. The power in the motor is exceptional. I went up a steep incline out of a marina on the Hudson River which was about 50+ degrees. It carried my heavy butt up that hill with no pedal assist at about 8 miles an hour. I was very impressed.

I was born there and spent a lot of time riding around Grafton on bike as well as walking around it. This brings back many fond memories for me. Thanks for sharing the tour. My Grandparents lived only a couple of houses up from the High School. They managed the Furniture store and owned the B & B Paint store. My uncle owned the Capri Pizza shop and Manos Theatre across from the Mothers Day Church.

I have an Oraimo Scrambler 100, attempted to install the Hafny handlebar mirrors. Started with right side, had to cut the rubber out of the end of the bar as shown in your video. Inserted the stem for the mirror, but it wouldn't go in all the way. Pushed in as far as I could, and it got in far enough, but the bolt at the end of the stem got disconnected, so now the screw has nothing to tighten into. And I am unable to pull out the piece of stem that is still stuck inside my handlebar. Ugh!! Tried everything to get it out, needle nose pliers, etc. Epic fail!!!

I was looking at RUclips video's of the many different suspension seat posts, and ended up choosing ordering Suntour NCX, so it will be a few days before it arrives, but as one fellow put it, you 'get what you pay for' so I thought I'd spend a little extra, for longevity. I'm around the 180 lb mark, so I won't need it adjusted too much more than it's default, but the Suntour NCX seems to have good reviews, yet there are a couple one being Redshift, the other Kninekt suspension seat posts, on the more extreme cost end. Nonetheless, I chose the best for what I believe is 'bang for the buck' for my riding style, which is pathways, roadside bike paths, and some off-road trails. I've got some longer rides upcoming, so I'll be doing some of my own testing, and crossing my fingers as to a positive outcome. One thing mentioned on the 'spring' style, being that the distance from seat to pedal changes, as the seat moves up and down, and they say that can be difficult if you're riding where the extremes of the up/down on a very bumpy trail can affect your pedalling, where the fulcrum in using the Suntour has some back/forth motion with a little up/down making the distance from seat to pedal much less. Thanks for the video, and you did just fine in front of the camera, giving us good detail in what you where doing, and you own review of the post, so much appreciated!

watching poster's butt on the saddle bouncing up n down was oddly satisfying and something NOT expected when looking for a seatpost review. LOLs.

How hard is to just peddle it with no assist?

In this corner, weighing 360 pounds, the Giddy Up saddle with the 12 inch 'wings' would be my choice with a shock absorbing seat post too. I have sure become soft since my 18 wheeler drafting days back in the 1970's!! My vintage Cannondale has a ladies saddle. 330 pounds seems to be the max weight on the electric folding bikes. What abandoned railroad is that you're riding on? I ordered a trike which was delivered in 9 days! No damage on mine. I've only ridden it once around the yard as the intense March winds just won't slack off. Anxious to get it out to our local state park!

YES! You must adjust the angle of the seat on the new Zoom post! Just match up the angle from the old seatpost first! But finally someone has shown us the best procedure to check the tension you went 13 turns clockwise and I noticed it was still bottoming out! So I decided that on my wife's suspension seatpost I'm going to crank it almost all the way because she weighs twice as much as I do and I'm going to start mine in the stock position and go from there I weigh 175lbs!
